Abstract

The invention relates to a process for cleansing areas affected by pollutants and materials usable therefor. In the process for preventing the emission of odorous and polluting substances, the emission source is directly covered with a material containing the adsorbent particles. The invention also relates to an adsorbent material containing a flat substrate taking the form of a water-vapour-permeable screen or to which an additional water-vapour-permeable screen is applied, and a layer containing adsorbent particles laid thereon.
