SE DESCRIBE UN METODO PARA PRODUCIR UN MATERIAL PRECURSOR DE SILICATO CALCICO. ESTE METODO TIENE LA VENTAJA DE QUE PROPORCIONA UN MATERIAL UTIL PARA LA FABRICACION DE VIDRIO. EL METODO CONLLEVA LA REACCION DE OXIDOS DE CALCIO Y DE MAGNESIO, AGUA Y SILICATOS SODICOS. LA FORMACION DE VIDRIO SE REALIZA A UNA TEMPERATURA MAS BAJA DE LO HABITUAL Y CON UNA LIBERACION MENOR DE GASES VOLATILES. ASIMISMO, SE FORMA MENOS CRISTOBALITA EN EL VIDRIO.
