Abstract

Novel fertilizer designed to palliate chlorosis in plants A formulation in the form of a wholly soluble or self suspendible liquid. Contains wholly chelated iron in the form of EDDHA (ethylenediamino-N,N"-bis-ortho-hydroxy phenylacetic acid) between 0.1% (w/w) and 15% (w/w) iron metal equivalent, wholly chelated manganese in the form of EDTA (ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid) between 0.1% (w/w) and 20% (w/w), preferably 0.63% (w/w) magnesium metal equivalent, wholly chelated zinc in the form of EDTA between 0.1% (w/w) and 20% (w/w), preferably 0.63% (w/w) zinc metal equivalent, free amino acids between 0.1% (w/w) and 15% (w/w), preferably 2.34% (w/w), crystalline urea between 0.1% (w/w) and 30% (w/w), preferably 6% (w/w) (equivalent to 2.76% of total nitrogen). Applied in a dose of 1 to 3 litres/ha on crops suffering from chlorosis, and especially fruits, citrus fruits, hazelnuts, olives, vines, kitchen garden and horticultural plants.
