Abstract
Radamicina, un proceso para su producción y su uso como inductor del promotor tipA. Esta invención describe un nuevo compuesto tiopeptídico cuya estructura ha sido determinada denominado radamicina (1). Asimismo, se describe el proceso de su producción y su uso, así como el de sus sales y derivados en todas sus formas estereométricas y tautoméricas, como inductor del promotor tipA. El compuesto aquí descrito se obtiene a partir de cultivo de Streptomyces sp RSP9 y difiere del resto de los compuestos tiopeptídicos en que es un potente inductor del promotor tipA. Además, el compuesto radamicina difiere de todos los inductores del promotor descritos hasta la fecha en que no presenta actividad antibiótica frente a ninguno de los microorganismos Gram positivos sensibles al resto de los compuestos tiopeptídicos probados hasta la fecha (Micrococcus luteus, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis etc).Radamycin, a process for its production and its use as an inducer of the tipA promoter. This invention describes a new thiopeptide compound whose structure has been determined called radamycin (1). Likewise, it describes the process of its production and its use, as well as that of its salts and derivatives in all its stereometric and tautomeric forms, as an inducer of the tipA promoter. The compound described here is obtained from the culture of Streptomyces sp RSP9 and differs from the rest of the thiopeptide compounds in that it is a potent inducer of the tipA promoter. In addition, the radamicin compound differs from all promoter inducers described to date in that it has no antibiotic activity against any of the Gram positive microorganisms sensitive to the rest of the thiopeptide compounds tested to date (Micrococcus luteus, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis etc).
