Abstract

The heater or cooler, for use e.g. in home or office, consists of a casing (70) with an inner convection chamber (50) with an air intake grille (61) at the bottom and an outlet (71) in its lower front face. The convection chamber is divided into front (51) and rear (52) compartments by a vertical partition (53), and has a heat source (5) in the lower part of the rear compartment. The heater or cooler also incorporates a cold source (101) in a second air intake (100) in the upper part of its rear compartment (90), made e.g. in the form of a heat exchanger connected to a source of iced water. Both heater and cooler can be connected, for example, to a reversible heat pump (110) situated outside the building.
