Banda de rodadura (14) para neumático de vehículos (1, 101), que comprende una pluralidad de ranuras transversales (15a-15e) que incluyen una porción ecuatorial (17) formada en una zona ecuatorial (E) de la banda de rodadura (14) que se extienden en cada lado del plano ecuatorial (Y-Y) del neumático (1, 101) y una porción de borde (16) formada a lo largo de una de las dos zonas de borde (F, G) definidas en la banda de rodadura (14) en partes axialmente opuestas respecto a dicha zona ecuatorial (E), estando dichas ranuras transversales (15a-15e) circunferencialmente distribuidas a lo largo de la banda de rodadura (14) en grupos que se extienden alternativamente desde dichas zonas de bordes (F, G) de la banda de rodadura (14), donde dichos grupos de ranuras transversales (15a-15e) definen en la zona ecuatorial (E) de la banda de rodadura (14) una pluralidad de porciones sustancialmente continuas (18) de la banda de rodadura (14) que termina en la porción ecuatorial (17) de la ranura transversal más larga (15a) del grupo axialmente opuesto de ranuras transversales (15a-15e), donde las ranuras transversales (15a-15e) de un grupo están inclinadas a lo largo de una dirección opuesta respecto a las ranuras transversales (15a-15e) de un grupo opuesto respecto al plano ecuatorial (Y-Y) del neumático (1, 101) y, donde una pluralidad de dichas ranuras transversales (15a-15e) terminan a una distancia predeterminada (d) de la porción ecuatorial (17) de la ranura transversal más larga (15a) de el grupo axialmente opuesto de ranuras (15a-15e); caracterizada por el hecho de que cada una de dichas ranuras transversales (15a-15e) terminan en dicha distancia predeterminada (d) desde dicha porción ecuatorial (17) de dicha ranura transversal más larga (15a) del grupo axialmente opuesto (15a-15e), de manera que todas las ranuras transversales (15a15e) terminan dentro de la zona ecuatorial (E) de la banda de rodadura (14).
