Abstract
Integral heat recovery system for cogeneration units, by stratified heat transfer to a single fluid.A simple system is described to recover part of the residual heat from any heating system, whatever its technology, construction or size, increasing the range of possibilities for which cogeneration is interesting. The said system consists of a single heat recovery device whose purpose is to combine all the energy carrying fluids used in the engine (refrigeration, exhaust, lubrication, etc.) in order to transfer their heat to a fluid medium for accumulation and/or transportation. The device itself serves as an accumulator for heat recovered while damping out the oscillations generated by its heat input. It is intended to patent a device that can have any type of heat source (electrical heaters, gas burners, etc.) that assist the system if required. It also includes a coil at the hottest area to raise the temperature of thermal fluids instantaneously for domestic purposes.
