Abstract

Alarm system for monitoring patient body temperature increases. The system is equipped with a body temperature detector and receiver for signals corresponding to temperature. The detector consists of a sensor (1) that is applied directly to the patient's skin, the temperature detected being displayed continuously via an integrated circuit (4) on a digital screen (2). The signals detected by the sensor (1) are sent to a receiver (8) which, via an integrated circuit (9), provides a display of the temperature on digital screen (12), activating an alarm (11) to warn the person in charge of caring for the patient wearing the detector that his/her body temperature has reached a programmed or pre-established limit, enabling the care provider to take the necessary measures and provide the patient with the care required.
