Abstract
La columna compuesta de acero/cemento (2) consta de un montaje de acero en forma de H que se extiende longitudinalmente (4) que tiene un par de placas de paralelas (6) y una placa de red (8) que conecta las placas de refuerzo y que definen dos espacios opuestos en forma de canal (10). Varias barras de amarre transversal de separación de espacio (12) se disponen a lo largo del montaje de acero en cada lado de la placa de red para conectar las placas de refuerzo. Una masa de cemento (14) rellena los espacios en forma de canales. La columna de acero y cemento se caracteriza porque la relación del área de la sección transversal del ensamblaje de acero con respecto al área de la superficie total de la columna compuesta de acero/cemento es menor del 9%, preferiblemente de 2% al 5%. La columna se utiliza principalmente para edificios de gran altura de acero estructural que tiene la ventaja de la prefabricación en taller que resulta más rápida que la fabricación en el sitio. La columna muestra unarelación acero a cemento muy reducida comparado con las columnas compuestas anteriores, por tanto reduce grandemente los costes de producción y el tamaño de la columna y también reduce grandemente su tiempo de construcción.
