Abstract

The process consists first in combining a chrominance signal trap located at the output of the first video stage (1) followed by a variable-gain amplifier (16) adapting the amplitude of the chrominance signal (15), a mixing module (5) recomposing the composite signal being situated ahead of the FM modulation (6) next, a delay line (9), controlled by a time base synchronized (10) on the basis of the HF signal and acting on the luminance signal (14) and finally, a linear demodulator by pulse intervals (11) acting on the reproduction of the video signal from the reading heads (8, 8'). It also concerns the recording on magnetic tape of colour television pictures from an aerial, a cable or a camera, and the playback thereof.
