Claims

1. - PROTECTION RAILING that, formed from a metal structure that includes a railing body (10) itself, intended to serve as a protection parapet before the edge of elevated working surfaces (2a), for example the part top of a piece of furniture (2) or similar, is characterized by the fact that said structure comprises two pillars (3) that, at least, are supported by themselves by respective pedestals (4) in which their lower ends are inserted, which bases (4) are endowed with a broad base (4a) that endows them with sufficient stability to ensure this support widely; and in which both pillars (3) are linked together by means of at least one lower crossbar (5) and the body of the railing (10) which, in turn, is formed by two lateral tubes (10a), joined together each other by several transverse tubes (10b), which are coupled on the upper end of each of the pillars (3).

2. - PROTECTION RAILING, according to claim 1, wherein said structure further comprises additional fastening means that ensure and complement the support of the pillars (3) compensating the lateral forces.

5. - PROTECTION RAILING, according to claim 4, wherein said lateral fastening means (6) are defined by straps (6) which, through respective hook-shaped anchors (7) or the like, are tied in the top and bottom of each of both pillars (3) and the back of the furniture (2) or similar.

6. - PROTECTION RAILING, according to any of claims 1 to 5, wherein the structure is removable and the pillars (3) are formed by respective segments (3a) of telescopic extensible tube to graduate the height at which the body is positioned the railing (10) according to the needs of each case.

7. - PROTECTION RAILING, according to any of claims 1 to 5, wherein the structure is foldable and the pillars (3) thereof are formed by two non-extensible tubes that are linked to the respective sides (10a) of the body of the railing (10) by means of articulated joints (9).

8. - PROTECTION RAILING, according to any of claims 1 to 7, wherein the lower crossbar (5) is joined together to separate bushings (5a) which, as hollow tube segments, fit into the bases (4), between these and the lower ends of the pillars (3).

9. - PROTECTION RAILING, according to any of claims 1 to 8, wherein both pillars (3) incorporate a protective cover (8) to prevent friction that may deteriorate the furniture (2) or similar in front of which the handrail is placed (one).
