Description

The present invention relates to a variable arrangement of upholstered furniture, which can be converted from a first arrangement variant into a second arrangement variant. The invention also relates to a living area with such an upholstered furniture arrangement.

Upholstered furniture combinations or living areas are known from the prior art, which can be set up as a corner upholstered furniture combination. Usually, such living landscapes are designed either as a left corner upholstered furniture combination or as a right corner upholstered furniture combination, so that they can be optimally integrated either in a left room corner or a right room corner. For this purpose it is necessary to design and build the living area individually for the left corner or the right corner. Especially when an ottoman on on the left-hand side or on the right-hand side of the living area, it is not possible to simply switch between a corner-upholstered furniture combination on the left and a corner-upholstered furniture combination on the right, since the ottoman usually has a wide armrest with the Base frame is integrated. The object of the present invention is to at least partially take account of the problems described above. In particular, the object of the present invention is to provide an upholstered furniture arrangement for the simplest possible conversion from a first arrangement variant to a second arrangement variant for the most flexible possible positioning of the upholstered furniture arrangement in space, and a living area with such an upholstered furniture arrangement.

The above object is solved by the present patent claims. In particular, the above object is achieved by the upholstered furniture arrangement according to claim 1 and the living area according to claim 12. Further advantages of the invention result from the dependent claims, the description and the figures. Features that are described in connection with the upholstered furniture arrangement naturally also apply in connection with the living area according to the invention and vice versa, so that the disclosure of the individual aspects of the invention is and/or can always be referred to mutually.

According to a first aspect of the present invention, an upholstered furniture arrangement is made available for conversion from a first arrangement variant into a second arrangement variant. The upholstered furniture arrangement has a floor body with a floor body upper side, a floor body underside, a floor body front side, a floor body rear side, a first floor body head end and a second floor body head end. The upholstered furniture assembly further includes a seat cushion assembly having a seat cushion, a seat cushion top, a seat cushion bottom, a seat cushion front, a seat cushion rear, a first seat cushion top end, a second seat cushion top end, and a seat cushion armrest on the first seat cushion headboard on. In addition, the upholstered furniture arrangement has a backrest with a backrest front, a backrest rear, a first backrest head end and a second backrest head end. This specific configuration of the upholstered furniture arrangement allows a simple conversion of the two arrangement variants.

The first arrangement variant can be understood as an arrangement variant in which the seat cushion armrest is positioned on the left side of the upholstered furniture arrangement. The second arrangement variant can be understood as an arrangement variant in which the seat cushion armrest is positioned on the right side of the upholstered furniture arrangement. In other words, by converting from the first arrangement variant to the second arrangement variant, the position of the seat cushion armrest can be rotated by 180°, with the seating direction of the upholstered furniture arrangement remaining unchanged. Due to the inventive design of the base body, the seat cushion unit and the backrest, the upholstered furniture arrangement can be quickly and easily converted from the first arrangement variant to the second arrangement variant and from the second arrangement variant back to the first arrangement variant. In particular, the conversion between the first arrangement variant and the second arrangement variant can be carried out without tools. Increased flexibility in placing the upholstered furniture arrangement in the room can thereby be achieved for the owner of the upholstered furniture arrangement. This is particularly advantageous when the upholstered furniture arrangement is used as part of a living area in which, for example, an ottoman can be arranged and/or attached, in particular releasably attached, to the upholstered furniture arrangement. In this case, the living area can be quickly and easily converted from a right corner upholstered furniture combination to a left corner upholstered furniture combination and vice versa.

The upholstered furniture arrangement is preferably provided as a sofa or as part of a sofa, in particular for a living area. The upholstered furniture arrangement can for the intended use of the upholstered furniture arrangement are set up directly with the floor body underside on the floor. Nevertheless, a separate standing means of the upholstered furniture arrangement can be configured on the underside of the floor body for setting up the upholstered furniture arrangement on the floor. At least one foot (also called a furniture foot) and/or rollers for setting up the upholstered furniture arrangement on the floor can be configured on the underside of the floor body. In addition, the upholstered furniture arrangement cannot only be set up on the floor by means of the floor body and/or the standing means. For example, the seat cushion unit can extend along the floor body next to the floor body in a direction from the top side of the floor body to the bottom side of the floor body and also have a floor side for setting up the upholstered furniture arrangement on the floor side. A separate standing means, which can have at least one stand and/or castors, can also be configured on this bottom side for setting up the upholstered furniture arrangement on the bottom side. In addition, it is possible for the upholstered furniture arrangement, at least in one construction state, to touch the floor only through the seat cushion unit, in that the floor body is suspended from the seat cushion unit. This constellation is possible in particular if the upholstered furniture arrangement is provided as part of a living area in which the seat cushion unit touches the floor at least at one point of the seat upholstery unit when the living area is used as intended and the floor body touches between part of the seat upholstery unit and another part of the living area , such as an ottoman, hangs. This means that the floor body does not necessarily have to touch the floor, but is preferably to be understood as a floor-side component unit of the upholstered furniture arrangement, i.e. a component unit that is positioned at a distance of, for example, less than 20 cm near the floor. Furthermore, when the upholstered furniture arrangement is used as intended, apart from a possible standing means for direct floor contact, there is preferably no part of the upholstered furniture arrangement between the underside of the floor body and the floor on which the upholstered furniture arrangement stands.

The seat cushion has a seat width or a length between the first seat cushion head end and the second seat cushion head end in order to provide at least one seat, preferably at least two seats. The length between the first seat cushion head end and the second seat cushion head end is therefore preferably at least 50 cm, preferably at least 100 cm, and is, for example, in a range between 100 cm and 300 cm. The width or length of the body of soil in one direction from the first base body top end to the second base body top end can be at least 50 cm, preferably at least 100 cm, and is particularly preferably in a range between 120 cm and 200 cm. The floor body can thus be designed long or wide enough to be able to serve as a bed box or roller box for a folding bed integrated in the floor body. In the present case, the floor body is preferably shorter or has a shorter length than the seat cushion unit.

Including that the backrest front is positioned on the seat cushion back and on the floor body back does not have to mean that the backrest front is attached to the seat cushion back and/or on the floor body back. The front of the backrest is preferably only fastened to the back of the base body, for example by means of a plug-in, snap-in and/or screw connection, and is arranged without being fastened to the back of the seat cushion.

The conversion from the first arrangement variant to the second arrangement variant is to be understood in particular as a conversion from a left-hand orientation of the upholstered furniture arrangement to a right-hand orientation of the upholstered furniture arrangement, or vice versa. This means that in the first arrangement variant, the seat cushion armrest of a seat cushion unit that is positioned as intended on the floor body is on the left-hand side when looking at the front side of the floor body, for example, and in the second or converted arrangement variant the seat cushion armrest can be positioned as intended on the floor body The seat cushion unit is located on the right side, for example, when looking at the floor body front. One and the same upholstered furniture arrangement can thus be adapted to a corner in a living room on the left or right by converting from the first arrangement variant to the second arrangement variant.

The base body can have a base body longitudinal extension between the first base body head end and the second base body head end. The seat cushion may have a seat cushion length between the first seat cushion head end and the second seat cushion head end. The seat back may have a seat back length between the first seat back head end and the second seat back head end. An extension of the respective component unit in its longest length or dimension is to be allowed below the respective longitudinal extent to understand. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, it is possible for the seat cushion armrest to be an integral and/or one-piece part of the seat cushion in an upholstered furniture arrangement. That is, the seat cushion can have a seat cushion seat surface and a seat cushion armrest on the seat cushion top, with the seat cushion seat surface merging into the seat cushion armrest without interrupting the seat cushion top. Accordingly, preferably no crack is formed between the seat cushion seat surface and the seat cushion armrest. The seat cushion armrest and the seat cushion seat surface merge into one another and are not designed to be detachable from one another without being destroyed. The conversion of the upholstered furniture arrangement from the first arrangement variant to the second arrangement variant and vice versa can thus be carried out quickly and easily. There is no need to consider converting a separate armrest.

It is also possible with an upholstered furniture arrangement according to the present invention for the seat cushion unit to have a stabilizing body on the underside of the seat cushion for stabilizing and supporting the seat cushion, with the stabilizing body having a contact side which, in the first arrangement variant, is arranged on the first base body head end and is arranged in the second arrangement variant at the second base body head end. The stabilizing body and/or the contact side therefore extend beyond the underside of the seat cushion against the direction of gravity when the upholstered furniture arrangement is set up as intended. A space-saving and stable fastening point on the seat cushion unit can thus be made available to the floor body. The stabilizing body is preferably located in the area and/or in the vicinity of the head end of the seat cushion, for example at a distance of less than 20 cm in the vicinity of the head end of the seat cushion. The contact side is preferably configured orthogonally or essentially orthogonally to the part of the seat cushion underside that is positioned on the floor body upper side. In this way, a seamless lying surface can be produced in a simple manner, which is explained in more detail in the following text.

In a further embodiment of the present invention, it is possible that in an upholstered furniture arrangement, the stabilizing body together with the seat cushion is designed in one piece and / or integrally. This means that the stabilizing body cannot be detached from the seat cushion in a non-destructive manner and/or without the use of tools, or is at least not detachable from the seat cushion for the intended use of the upholstered furniture arrangement. This also allows the conversion of the upholstered furniture arrangement from the first arrangement variant to the second arrangement variant and vice versa to be carried out quickly and easily. Thanks to the seat cushion unit designed according to the invention, a high degree of stability of the upholstered furniture arrangement can nevertheless be achieved in both arrangement variants.

Furthermore, it is possible that in an upholstered furniture arrangement according to the invention, the stabilizing body is designed to stabilize the seat cushion armrest. The stabilizing body is therefore preferably located in the area of the seat cushion armrest and/or at least partially on the underside of the seat cushion in the gravitational direction under the seat cushion armrest. In this way, the seat cushion unit can also be made available in a stable manner in the area of the armrest that is critical under load. The stabilizing body according to the invention thus offers a bearing support for the seat cushion armrest, a bearing function for setting up the upholstered furniture arrangement on the floor and the contact side for fastening the floor body to the seat cushion unit with a simple and space-saving geometry.

Furthermore, in an upholstered furniture arrangement according to the invention, the stabilizing body is preferably designed in the form of a shell. The shell shape results in particular from a surface curvature on a stabilizing body upper side of the stabilizing body, the curved stabilizing body upper side being attached at least partially under the seat cushion armrest to a complementarily designed area of the seat cushion underside. In this way, forces that are exerted by a person on the seat cushion armrest can be advantageously dissipated in the upholstered furniture arrangement, in particular in a material-friendly manner. The upholstered furniture arrangement is thus designed to be correspondingly stable in the area of the armrest.

In an upholstered furniture arrangement according to the invention, the stabilizing body can have a base side for attaching feet to the base side, the base side being configured orthogonally to the contact side. The stabilizing body can thus fulfill additional functions in a simple and space-saving manner. By using feet and/or castors on the bottom side the material wear on the seat cushion unit and/or on the floor on which the upholstered furniture arrangement stands can be reduced. In addition, unevenness on the floor and/or production-related tolerances on the stabilizing body can be compensated for in a simple manner by means of the feet.

According to a further embodiment of the present invention, it is possible with an upholstered furniture arrangement that a first connecting means is configured on the contact side, a second connecting means is configured on the first floor body head end and a third connecting means is configured on the second floor body head end, with the first Arrangement variant, a positive and/or non-positive contact is made between the first connecting means and the second connecting means and in the second arrangement variant, a positive and/or non-positive contact is made between the first connecting means and the third connecting means. In the case of an upholstered furniture arrangement according to the invention, the base body can also have a bed box. The bed box can be integrated into the base body to save space. For this purpose, the base body can have a rolling body, which is located under the seat cushion unit and/or under at least part of the seat cushion can be pulled out and/or rolled out. The floor body can also be considered part of the bed box and/or part of the rolling body. A raised part can also be integrated in the base body in order to be able to stand up in the raised position (see 12 ) to be able to form a common lying surface with at least the seat cushion of the cushion unit. When the raising part is lowered from the floor body, it can be easily arranged under the seat cushion unit.

Furthermore, it is possible that in an arrangement of upholstered furniture according to the present invention, a fourth connecting means for a non-positive and/or positive connection with the backrest is configured on the rear side of the floor body. The fourth connection means is also used for a simple and quick conversion between the first arrangement variant and the second arrangement variant. The fourth connection means can have at least one tab, holes and/or at least one undercut for a positive and/or non-positive connection with a counter-connection means of the backrest. The fourth connecting means can also be designed in the form of a simple groove and/or depression into which the backrest, in particular a side edge of a backrest, can be inserted and/or hooked. In such an embodiment variant, the backrest is preferably designed in the form of a plate in order to implement a plug-in connection, screw connection or the like as simply and/or as user-friendly as possible. A further advantage of this embodiment variant is that no visible connecting means have to be attached to the backrest, which could be visible when changing from the first arrangement variant to the second arrangement variant or vice versa and thus be perceived as being aesthetically disturbing and/or embodied as possible sources of injury. The plate-shaped backrest is preferably straight and/or flat. As a result, the backrest forms the same angle to the seat surface of the seat cushion in both arrangement variants and the user of the upholstered furniture arrangement always has the same seating comfort. In the context of the present invention, the backrest does not have to be understood as meaning the backrest against which the user of the upholstered furniture arrangement actually leans. Rather, the backrest can be understood as the part of the upholstered furniture arrangement on which additional seat cushions are or can be placed in order to increase the seating comfort for the user. In this case, the user then leans with his back over the seat cushion or cushions on the backrest or on the front side of the backrest.

According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a sofa set including an ottoman and an upholstered furniture assembly as described above, wherein the upholstered furniture assembly is attached to the ottoman. The living area according to the invention thus brings with it the same advantages as have been described in detail with reference to the upholstered furniture arrangement according to the invention. In the present case, the ottoman is to be understood in particular as the part of the living area that is preferably used as a lying surface. Although the upholstered furniture arrangement can in principle also be used as a lying surface, it is used and/or made available in the living area in particular as a seat. The ottoman may be characterized by having an ottoman backrest which extends in extension to the backrest described in detail above, and an ottoman armrest which extends over only part of an ottoman's longitudinal extent or which does not entire length of the ottoman. The ottoman backrest can thus be firmly attached to the ottoman or to the first ottoman head end. During the remodeling of the lounge set and/or the upholstered furniture arrangement of the lounge set, the ottoman backrest may remain fixedly attached to the first ottoman headboard. The ottoman and thus the corresponding part of the living area can thus be provided with a correspondingly high level of stability. The fact that the ottoman backrest is designed separately from the backrest can be understood to mean that the ottoman backrest is arranged at a distance from the backrest as an independent component to the backrest and/or at least during the conversion from the first arrangement variant to the second arrangement variant and vice versa.
