Definitions
- the invention relates to a shielding device, a shielding method and a nonwoven laying device with the features in the preamble of the independent claims.
- Such a non-woven layer with shielding is from EP 3 015 578 A1 and the EP 3 150 753 A1 known.
- the pile web lying with its underside on a laying belt and transported to a movable upper carriage is completely covered on its upper side by a belt that is lying on it and is driven along with it.
- a multiplicity of parallel wires or belts can be used to cover the upper side of the flor web in certain areas.
- the DE 42 17 285 C1 deals with the delivery of a pile from the lower laying carriage onto the discharge belt of a web layer while compensating for an angle error, the laid web being covered by an additional cover belt and protective plates carried along on the laying carriage being arranged between the laying carriage and the cover belt.
- the US 5,285,554A discloses a fleece laying machine with a moving pile web which is fed to an upper carriage of the fleece laying machine lying open and without shielding on a laying belt.
- the claimed shielding technology ie the shielding device, the fleece layer equipped with it and the shielding method, have various advantages.
- the shielding device is an independently craftable and tradable item. It can be installed when crafting a fleece layer. However, it can also be retrofitted to an existing fleece layer. She is appropriately trained and prepared for this.
- the claimed shielding technology makes it possible to use a housing to cover and protect the side surfaces of the flor web that is on the laying belt and is fed to an upper main carriage and extends along the web direction.
- the pile web has an underside, with which it lies on the laying belt, an upper side and the side surfaces located at the longitudinal edges and lying opposite one another.
- the bottom and the top have a width dimension that is greater than the height dimension of the peripheral side surfaces.
- the cover has the function of shielding these side surfaces of the pile web from external environmental influences, in particular air currents.
- the exposed top of the pile sheet can be protected.
- a configuration of the shielding technology is particularly advantageous in which the housing covers and shields the web located on the laying belt at least in regions on all of its free surfaces on its feed path to the upper main carriage.
- the transfer belt and the pile run enter the moveable upper main carriage at an infeed point.
- the housing extends in the direction of the track at least as far as the movable entry point of the upper main carriage.
- a U-shaped shielding channel that is formed by the housing and the laying strip and is at least partially open at the top can suffice for this purpose.
- the shielding channel is also closed at the top and thus in the circumferential direction, at least in regions.
- the housing can cover the said pile at least on one side at a distance.
- This distance can exist, for example, between the top of the pile and the roof area of the enclosure.
- a flow-calmed free space or air space can be formed above the pile web.
- the cover can also be spaced apart on the side faces of the pile web. This lateral distance can be less than the upward distance.
- the enclosure can be installed or mounted stationary in fleece layers, for example. She may have a rigid education.
- the housing can be arranged above one main carriage, in particular the upper main carriage or upper carriage.
- the housing can, however, come into preferably sealing engagement with the running laying belt in order to thereby cover said said belt in a sealing manner to form a shield channel.
- the housing and the shielding channel formed can be open at the end faces or, if necessary, at least partially closed.
- the housing has a wall that is impermeable to external environmental influences, in particular air currents.
- the housing has a hood-like shape and at least partially covers the laying tape and the pile web located thereon.
- the wall is designed accordingly with side wall and roof areas.
- the wall can only have lateral wall areas and be open at the top.
- the housing can be tightly connected to the laying belt, and at the connection point it is also possible to prevent external environmental influences, in particular air currents, from reaching the enclosed web.
- the housing can extend along the laying belt and the pile web in said web direction and along a travel path of one main carriage, in particular the upper carriage.
- Said route and the path direction can have the same longitudinal direction component. In particular, they can be rectified.
- the housing can interact with the laying belt and be in sealing engagement with the laying belt, in particular with its lateral longitudinal edges.
- the housing can overlap with the longitudinal edges transversely to the direction of the web and thereby preferably form a seal.
- the housing can have a different engagement with the laying tape over its length or in the direction of the web.
- the enclosure can be subdivided into sections along its length. It can reach under the laying tape in a first sub-area and overlap in another sub-area. An open slit is left between the overlaps.
- Said partial areas can be arranged one behind the other in the direction of the web and closely adjoin one another.
- Different wall sections can be formed on the wall, in particular a lower wall, on the partial areas.
- a support device in particular a rotatable support roller, can be present at the transition point of the partial areas and wall sections for the laying tape with the pile web located thereon.
- This laying belt is also referred to as a pile-guiding laying belt or infeed belt.
- the side walls of the partial areas can overlap at the transition point and shield the fleece web laterally.
- the overlapping and overlapping sections of the housing on the pile-guiding laying belt has advantages for the adaptation of the shielding and sealing effect to the travel movements of the upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage.
- the sub-area or wall section with the lower grip of the housing on the laying belt can be located in an area outside the travel path of said upper main carriage.
- Said partial area or wall section with the overlap can be located in the travel area of said main carriage.
- the lateral distance between the pile and the housing is advantageous for unrolling and rolling on and for the collision-free passage of the pile through the free slot between the overlaps.
- the shielding function is guaranteed for the supplied web up to its entry into said upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage, and into its receiving and infeed area.
- the housing can extend in length over the area susceptible to faults along the pile-guiding laying belt.
- the housing can, for example, extend in length, in particular over the route of the main carriage.
- the housing can extend from a feed-side and at least largely undisturbed area at the edge of the fleece layer, e.g.
- the feed-side end area can be arranged on the face of the fleece layer and can be the entry area of the pile web into the fleece layer.
- the housing can end at this end area on the feed side.
- the housing can extend up to the said upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage, if this is in an end position of its travel path which is furthest away from the said end region on the feed side. At this remote end position, the housing can overlap said main carriage and end at its rear edge area or behind it.
- the housing covers the entry point of the pile web in said upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage. Also in the other track positions between the said end positions the enclosure extends over said upper main carriage.
- the housing can have a straight extension. It can have the open ends mentioned. It may also be box-like and substantially C-shaped in cross-section with said slot.
- the cross-sectional shape can be prismatic or rounded.
- the housing and its wall have side walls extending along the direction of travel and possibly a roof wall adjoining them closely and a bottom wall adjoining the side walls, which laterally overlaps the laying belt, in particular its longitudinal edges.
- the lower wall can have the underreaching and overarching wall sections mentioned. In the middle area, it can have the said slit-like opening corresponding to the C-shape.
- the housing can be designed to be adjustable in terms of its dimensions.
- the height of the housing can be adjusted.
- the wall sections formed on the lower wall and reaching under and over the laying belt in sections can be adjusted in terms of their height and adapted to the laying belt. They can have a sealing covering on the contact area with the laying tape, in particular on its respective longitudinal edge.
- the fleece layer is designed as a cross-layer. Alternatively, it can be designed in a different way, for example as a longitudinal layer or the like.
- the fleece layer has several, for example two, main carriages. This can be an upper main carriage, also known as an upper carriage. On the other hand, there can be a lower main carriage, which is also referred to as a laying carriage.
- the upper main carriage may be the first in the web direction or in the direction of feed of the pile web be the main car. However, there can also be other main car designs.
- the fleece layer can have one or more laying belts, at least one of which is guided over said one and in particular the upper main carriage or upper carriage.
- the web layer can be designed as a so-called tape layer. In an advantageous embodiment, it can have two or more, e.g. three, laying bands.
- the laying belt or belts can also be guided over one or more other main carriages, in particular over the lower main carriage or laying carriage.
- the pile web can be embedded between two laying belts between the said main carriage, in particular the upper carriage and laying carriage. It can be transported directly from one main car to the other.
- the fleece layer is designed as a synchronous layer, in which the said main carriages always move in the same direction and with different path lengths and speeds.
- the pile web and the laying tapes can be guided between said main carriage via a stationary deflection in a machine frame of the fleece layer, with what is known as a counter-rotating fleece layer being formed in which said main carriages move in opposite directions with different path lengths and speeds.
- the main carriages can be moved over a discharge belt of the fleece layer and deposit the supplied pile web on the discharge belt, with a single-layer or multi-layer fleece being formed.
- the housing of the shielding device is arranged on the one belt section of the laying belt that leads to the upper main carriage or upper carriage and on the flor web fed thereon.
- the pile-guiding laying belt can be guided and stretched over deflection means.
- the deflection means can in particular be rotatable deflection rollers.
- the deflection means are located at an end area of the web laying device on the infeed side and are arranged here, for example, in a stationary manner. On the other hand, they are located on said upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage.
- a rotatable support roller or another support means arranged at the transition point between the wall sections reaching under and reaching over one another can additionally support the stretched-out laying tape.
- This support roller or the support means can be located in particular close to and outside of the said end point of the main carriage travel path, which is arranged closest to the feed-side end area of the web layer.
- the support roller or the support means can support and define the aforementioned rolling and rolling function of the laying belt on the underside of the housing during the travel movement of said main carriage.
- an additional support function for the wide-stretched laying belt can take place when said main carriage is in the end position furthest away from said end area.
- the support roller or the support means can be arranged on the shielding device or on the fleece layer.
- the fleece layer can have one or more auxiliary carriages, which pull out and support a tape loop on a respective laying tape.
- auxiliary carriages which can be moved in the direction of travel, can each be coupled to a main carriage and can carry out a travel movement that is dependent on the movement of the main carriage.
- An auxiliary carriage can be arranged and moved with a belt loop above the shielding device.
- An enclosure with a closed roof area or a shielding channel that is closed all the way around in the circumferential direction can protect the moving web from interference from this main carriage, for example air turbulence.
- the said auxiliary carriage can be arranged and moved on the fleece layer in a manner that is kinematic and space-efficient.
- Another auxiliary carriage can be arranged with its belt loop below the shielding device. In this case, it can be arranged between the shielding device and the removal belt of the fleece layer. The laying belt and the housing closely adjoining it protect the web fed on the laying belt from the interference of this auxiliary carriage and the belt loop.
- the shielding device also has advantages for the formation of the web layer, in particular for the design and arrangement of one or more, for example two, auxiliary carriages. These can be arranged kinematically and space-efficiently in an area above the discharge belt. At least one auxiliary carriage can be arranged in an area between the upper and lower main carriages. This enables a compact design.
- This embodiment also has advantages over a practice-known arrangement of auxiliary carriages below the discharge belt. The construction effort with roller arrangements, support devices, clamping devices, etc. can be reduced. The overall height of the fleece layer can also be reduced.
- the fleece laying device can be adapted more cheaply to system components connected to the feed and discharge sides.
- a plant component on the feed side can be, for example, a web producer, in particular a card, an airlay or the like.
- a plant component on the discharge side can be a bonding device, in particular a needling machine, a water jet bonding or the like.
- the fleece layer can have a machine frame, a carriage guide and a drive device.
- the main carriage or carriages and the auxiliary carriage or carriages that may be present can at least partially have a common carriage guide, which reduces the construction and space requirements and allows a compact design of the fleece layer.
- the shielding device is also advantageous for this purpose because a compact design could otherwise have particularly strong negative interference effects on the web that is fed.
- the circulatingly driven laying belts and the main carriage or carriages and the auxiliary carriage or carriages that may be present can have separate drive components of a drive device.
- the drive components can have a rotating drive movement or a translational drive movement, e.g. in the form of a linear drive for the main and/or auxiliary carriage.
- An electric linear motor which can also have a guiding function, can be used to drive the main carriage or carriages and, if necessary, the auxiliary carriage or carriages.
- the shielding channel formed by the housing and the laying tape can be empty.
- means for influencing the running web and/or for influencing the air in the interior of the duct can be present in or on the shielding duct.
- Such means may, for example, be recessed vertical or sloping bulkheads or the like.
- air currents can be directed into the shielding channel and towards the running web. These can, for example, press the pile web against the running laying belt. With such air currents or the like, a stretching and/or compressing effect can also be exerted on the running web. This effect can be local.
- Such means can be, for example, guide walls, air flaps, blowing devices, suction devices or the like on the housing.
- the shielding method for a moving pile web in a fleece layer provides that the pile web is fed on a laying belt of the fleece layer to an upper, movable main carriage of the fleece layer, in particular an upper carriage, in the direction of the web and on its way by means of a housing arranged in the fleece layer is shielded, which covers the side surfaces of the pile web located on the laying belt and extends along the web direction and shields against external environmental influences, in particular air currents.
- the pile web located on the laying belt is preferably covered on all of its free surfaces and shielded from external environmental influences, in particular air currents.
- the housing which is preferably hood-like and equipped with a wall that is impermeable to external environmental influences, in particular air currents, can tightly adjoin the laying belt.
- the pile web on the laying belt is covered at least on one side, in particular on the upper side, with a distance.
- the housing interacts with the laying tape and is in sealing engagement with it.
- the housing can be in overlapping, preferably sealing engagement with the longitudinal edges of the laying strip transversely to the direction of the web.
- the housing which is subdivided into several, in particular two, sub-areas in the longitudinal direction or web direction, alternately and in a sealing manner engages under and over the laying belt, in particular its longitudinal edges in the sub-areas.
- In the first sub-area seen in the direction of the web there is an undergrip and in the following sub-area there is an overgrip.
- the change from under attack to over attack takes place at a transition point that is Is arranged area of a feed side nearest end position of the upper main carriage or upper carriage.
- the section with the overlap of the enclosure is located in the area of the track of the upper main carriage or superstructure.
- the claimed shielding device and shielding method, as well as laying fleece, can have the following design features, which can be used individually or in combination.

It is the object of the present invention to provide a better shielding technique.
The invention solves this problem with the features in the independent claims.
The claimed shielding technology, ie the shielding device, the fleece layer equipped with it and the shielding method, have various advantages.
The shielding device is an independently craftable and tradable item. It can be installed when crafting a fleece layer. However, it can also be retrofitted to an existing fleece layer. She is appropriately trained and prepared for this.
The claimed shielding technology makes it possible to use a housing to cover and protect the side surfaces of the flor web that is on the laying belt and is fed to an upper main carriage and extends along the web direction. The pile web has an underside, with which it lies on the laying belt, an upper side and the side surfaces located at the longitudinal edges and lying opposite one another. The bottom and the top have a width dimension that is greater than the height dimension of the peripheral side surfaces.
The cover has the function of shielding these side surfaces of the pile web from external environmental influences, in particular air currents. In addition, the exposed top of the pile sheet can be protected. A configuration of the shielding technology is particularly advantageous in which the housing covers and shields the web located on the laying belt at least in regions on all of its free surfaces on its feed path to the upper main carriage. The transfer belt and the pile run enter the moveable upper main carriage at an infeed point. The housing extends in the direction of the track at least as far as the movable entry point of the upper main carriage.
This makes it possible to transport the pile web transported on the running laying belt in a shielding channel which is closed at least laterally by the housing and on the underside by the laying belt. Air currents, in particular air vortices, can be kept from the running web in this way that they do not adversely affect the pile web. The shielding technique can in particular prevent the lateral longitudinal edges of the pile web from being pushed in or folded over, and possibly also a temporary lifting of parts of the pile web relative to the laying belt. Undesirable blowing and the associated structural changes in the web can also be avoided. A U-shaped shielding channel that is formed by the housing and the laying strip and is at least partially open at the top can suffice for this purpose. In a preferred embodiment, the shielding channel is also closed at the top and thus in the circumferential direction, at least in regions.
The housing can cover the said pile at least on one side at a distance. This distance can exist, for example, between the top of the pile and the roof area of the enclosure. As a result, a flow-calmed free space or air space can be formed above the pile web. The cover can also be spaced apart on the side faces of the pile web. This lateral distance can be less than the upward distance.
The enclosure can be installed or mounted stationary in fleece layers, for example. She may have a rigid education. The housing can be arranged above one main carriage, in particular the upper main carriage or upper carriage.
Due to a distanced cover, the pile web transported on the laying belt does not come into physical contact with the housing. A negative influence on the pile sheet by such touch contact can be avoided. The housing can, however, come into preferably sealing engagement with the running laying belt in order to thereby cover said said belt in a sealing manner to form a shield channel. The housing and the shielding channel formed can be open at the end faces or, if necessary, at least partially closed.
The housing has a wall that is impermeable to external environmental influences, in particular air currents. In an advantageous embodiment, the housing has a hood-like shape and at least partially covers the laying tape and the pile web located thereon. The wall is designed accordingly with side wall and roof areas. In another embodiment, the wall can only have lateral wall areas and be open at the top. On the other hand, the housing can be tightly connected to the laying belt, and at the connection point it is also possible to prevent external environmental influences, in particular air currents, from reaching the enclosed web.
The directional references above, below and to the side refer to the position of the pile web, in particular on the laying tape. In the case of a conventional design of the fleece laying device, the underside of the pile web lies on the laying belt. However, other configurations are also possible.
In the installation situation in the fleece layer, the housing can extend along the laying belt and the pile web in said web direction and along a travel path of one main carriage, in particular the upper carriage. Said route and the path direction can have the same longitudinal direction component. In particular, they can be rectified.
The housing can interact with the laying belt and be in sealing engagement with the laying belt, in particular with its lateral longitudinal edges. the The housing can overlap with the longitudinal edges transversely to the direction of the web and thereby preferably form a seal. The housing can have a different engagement with the laying tape over its length or in the direction of the web.
The enclosure can be subdivided into sections along its length. It can reach under the laying tape in a first sub-area and overlap in another sub-area. An open slit is left between the overlaps.
Said partial areas can be arranged one behind the other in the direction of the web and closely adjoin one another. Different wall sections can be formed on the wall, in particular a lower wall, on the partial areas. A support device, in particular a rotatable support roller, can be present at the transition point of the partial areas and wall sections for the laying tape with the pile web located thereon. This laying belt is also referred to as a pile-guiding laying belt or infeed belt. The side walls of the partial areas can overlap at the transition point and shield the fleece web laterally.
The overlapping and overlapping sections of the housing on the pile-guiding laying belt has advantages for the adaptation of the shielding and sealing effect to the travel movements of the upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage. The sub-area or wall section with the lower grip of the housing on the laying belt can be located in an area outside the travel path of said upper main carriage. Said partial area or wall section with the overlap can be located in the travel area of said main carriage. Through the encroachment, the flexible laying tape with the overlying floret can with a driving movement of said The main carriage can be unrolled downwards from the enclosure or rolled upwards in a rolling movement. The lateral distance between the pile and the housing is advantageous for unrolling and rolling on and for the collision-free passage of the pile through the free slot between the overlaps. The shielding function is guaranteed for the supplied web up to its entry into said upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage, and into its receiving and infeed area.
In the installation situation in the fleece layer, the housing can extend in length over the area susceptible to faults along the pile-guiding laying belt. The housing can, for example, extend in length, in particular over the route of the main carriage. The housing can extend from a feed-side and at least largely undisturbed area at the edge of the fleece layer, e.g.
The feed-side end area can be arranged on the face of the fleece layer and can be the entry area of the pile web into the fleece layer. The housing can end at this end area on the feed side.
In the installation situation, the housing can extend up to the said upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage, if this is in an end position of its travel path which is furthest away from the said end region on the feed side. At this remote end position, the housing can overlap said main carriage and end at its rear edge area or behind it. The housing covers the entry point of the pile web in said upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage. Also in the other track positions between the said end positions the enclosure extends over said upper main carriage.
The housing can have a straight extension. It can have the open ends mentioned. It may also be box-like and substantially C-shaped in cross-section with said slot. The cross-sectional shape can be prismatic or rounded. The housing and its wall have side walls extending along the direction of travel and possibly a roof wall adjoining them closely and a bottom wall adjoining the side walls, which laterally overlaps the laying belt, in particular its longitudinal edges. The lower wall can have the underreaching and overarching wall sections mentioned. In the middle area, it can have the said slit-like opening corresponding to the C-shape.
The housing can be designed to be adjustable in terms of its dimensions. In an advantageous embodiment, the height of the housing can be adjusted. In particular, the wall sections formed on the lower wall and reaching under and over the laying belt in sections can be adjusted in terms of their height and adapted to the laying belt. They can have a sealing covering on the contact area with the laying tape, in particular on its respective longitudinal edge.
In an advantageous embodiment, the fleece layer is designed as a cross-layer. Alternatively, it can be designed in a different way, for example as a longitudinal layer or the like. The fleece layer has several, for example two, main carriages. This can be an upper main carriage, also known as an upper carriage. On the other hand, there can be a lower main carriage, which is also referred to as a laying carriage. The upper main carriage may be the first in the web direction or in the direction of feed of the pile web be the main car. However, there can also be other main car designs.
The fleece layer can have one or more laying belts, at least one of which is guided over said one and in particular the upper main carriage or upper carriage. The web layer can be designed as a so-called tape layer. In an advantageous embodiment, it can have two or more, e.g. three, laying bands. The laying belt or belts can also be guided over one or more other main carriages, in particular over the lower main carriage or laying carriage.
The pile web can be embedded between two laying belts between the said main carriage, in particular the upper carriage and laying carriage. It can be transported directly from one main car to the other. The fleece layer is designed as a synchronous layer, in which the said main carriages always move in the same direction and with different path lengths and speeds. Alternatively, the pile web and the laying tapes can be guided between said main carriage via a stationary deflection in a machine frame of the fleece layer, with what is known as a counter-rotating fleece layer being formed in which said main carriages move in opposite directions with different path lengths and speeds.
The main carriages can be moved over a discharge belt of the fleece layer and deposit the supplied pile web on the discharge belt, with a single-layer or multi-layer fleece being formed. The housing of the shielding device is arranged on the one belt section of the laying belt that leads to the upper main carriage or upper carriage and on the flor web fed thereon.
The pile-guiding laying belt can be guided and stretched over deflection means. The deflection means can in particular be rotatable deflection rollers. The deflection means are located at an end area of the web laying device on the infeed side and are arranged here, for example, in a stationary manner. On the other hand, they are located on said upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage.
A rotatable support roller or another support means arranged at the transition point between the wall sections reaching under and reaching over one another can additionally support the stretched-out laying tape. This support roller or the support means can be located in particular close to and outside of the said end point of the main carriage travel path, which is arranged closest to the feed-side end area of the web layer. The support roller or the support means can support and define the aforementioned rolling and rolling function of the laying belt on the underside of the housing during the travel movement of said main carriage. On the other hand, an additional support function for the wide-stretched laying belt can take place when said main carriage is in the end position furthest away from said end area. The support roller or the support means can be arranged on the shielding device or on the fleece layer.
The fleece layer can have one or more auxiliary carriages, which pull out and support a tape loop on a respective laying tape. These auxiliary carriages, which can be moved in the direction of travel, can each be coupled to a main carriage and can carry out a travel movement that is dependent on the movement of the main carriage.
An auxiliary carriage can be arranged and moved with a belt loop above the shielding device. An enclosure with a closed roof area or a shielding channel that is closed all the way around in the circumferential direction can protect the moving web from interference from this main carriage, for example air turbulence. On the other hand, the said auxiliary carriage can be arranged and moved on the fleece layer in a manner that is kinematic and space-efficient. Another auxiliary carriage can be arranged with its belt loop below the shielding device. In this case, it can be arranged between the shielding device and the removal belt of the fleece layer. The laying belt and the housing closely adjoining it protect the web fed on the laying belt from the interference of this auxiliary carriage and the belt loop.
The shielding device also has advantages for the formation of the web layer, in particular for the design and arrangement of one or more, for example two, auxiliary carriages. These can be arranged kinematically and space-efficiently in an area above the discharge belt. At least one auxiliary carriage can be arranged in an area between the upper and lower main carriages. This enables a compact design. This embodiment also has advantages over a practice-known arrangement of auxiliary carriages below the discharge belt. The construction effort with roller arrangements, support devices, clamping devices, etc. can be reduced. The overall height of the fleece layer can also be reduced. In addition, the fleece laying device can be adapted more cheaply to system components connected to the feed and discharge sides. A plant component on the feed side can be, for example, a web producer, in particular a card, an airlay or the like. A plant component on the discharge side can be a bonding device, in particular a needling machine, a water jet bonding or the like.
The fleece layer can have a machine frame, a carriage guide and a drive device. The main carriage or carriages and the auxiliary carriage or carriages that may be present can at least partially have a common carriage guide, which reduces the construction and space requirements and allows a compact design of the fleece layer. The shielding device is also advantageous for this purpose because a compact design could otherwise have particularly strong negative interference effects on the web that is fed. The circulatingly driven laying belts and the main carriage or carriages and the auxiliary carriage or carriages that may be present can have separate drive components of a drive device. The drive components can have a rotating drive movement or a translational drive movement, e.g. in the form of a linear drive for the main and/or auxiliary carriage. An electric linear motor, which can also have a guiding function, can be used to drive the main carriage or carriages and, if necessary, the auxiliary carriage or carriages.
In one embodiment, the shielding channel formed by the housing and the laying tape can be empty. In another variant that is not shown, means for influencing the running web and/or for influencing the air in the interior of the duct can be present in or on the shielding duct. Such means may, for example, be recessed vertical or sloping bulkheads or the like. Furthermore, air currents can be directed into the shielding channel and towards the running web. These can, for example, press the pile web against the running laying belt. With such air currents or the like, a stretching and/or compressing effect can also be exerted on the running web. This effect can be local. Such means can be, for example, guide walls, air flaps, blowing devices, suction devices or the like on the housing.
The shielding method for a moving pile web in a fleece layer, in particular a cross-lapper, provides that the pile web is fed on a laying belt of the fleece layer to an upper, movable main carriage of the fleece layer, in particular an upper carriage, in the direction of the web and on its way by means of a housing arranged in the fleece layer is shielded, which covers the side surfaces of the pile web located on the laying belt and extends along the web direction and shields against external environmental influences, in particular air currents. The pile web located on the laying belt is preferably covered on all of its free surfaces and shielded from external environmental influences, in particular air currents.
The housing, which is preferably hood-like and equipped with a wall that is impermeable to external environmental influences, in particular air currents, can tightly adjoin the laying belt. The pile web on the laying belt is covered at least on one side, in particular on the upper side, with a distance.
The housing interacts with the laying tape and is in sealing engagement with it. In particular, the housing can be in overlapping, preferably sealing engagement with the longitudinal edges of the laying strip transversely to the direction of the web.
Oberwagens. The housing, which is subdivided into several, in particular two, sub-areas in the longitudinal direction or web direction, alternately and in a sealing manner engages under and over the laying belt, in particular its longitudinal edges in the sub-areas. In the first sub-area seen in the direction of the web, there is an undergrip and in the following sub-area there is an overgrip. The change from under attack to over attack takes place at a transition point that is Is arranged area of a feed side nearest end position of the upper main carriage or upper carriage. The section with the overlap of the enclosure is located in the area of the track of the upper main carriage or superstructure.

The housing of the shielding device can have side walls extending along the web direction. The housing can also have a roof wall that is tightly connected to the side walls. The housing of the shielding device can also have a lower wall adjoining the side walls in each case, which laterally overlaps the laying strip, in particular its longitudinal edges.
The lower wall can each have a wall section reaching under the laying belt, in particular its longitudinal edges, as well as a wall section following in the direction of the web and overlapping the laying belt, in particular its longitudinal edges.
The bottom wall can make sealing contact with the laying tape in the overlapping area. In the overlapping area, the lower wall can also have a sealing coating that is favorable for sliding. This also applies to the underlying and overarching wall sections.
The claimed non-woven layer, in particular cross-layer, can have one or more movable auxiliary carriages coupled to a main carriage, in particular clamping carriages for a belt loop of a laying belt.
An auxiliary carriage can be arranged with a belt loop above and/or below the shielding device and can be moved.
The claimed fleece layer, in particular cross-lapper, can have a machine frame, a carriage guide for the main carriage or carriages and, if necessary, one or more auxiliary carriages and a drive device for the one or more laying belts and for the main carriage or carriages and, if necessary, the auxiliary carriage or carriages.

The invention relates to a shielding device (3) for a moving web (2) and for installation on a fleece layer (1). The invention also relates to a shielding method and a fleece layer (1) equipped with the shielding device (3).
The web (2) is fed to the web layer (1) in a feed direction (43) by a system component (not shown), e.g. a web producer, in particular a card, or an airlay. For this purpose, the fleece layer (1) can have a feed device (12), e.g. a feed belt. In the fleece layer (1), the supplied single-layer or multi-layer web (2) is laid down to form a single-layer or multi-layer fleece (24) on a discharge belt (23) and from there in the discharge direction (44) to a downstream system component, e.g. a bonding device, in particular a Needle machine or hydroentanglement.
The fleece layer (1) shown is designed as a cross-layer. It has a machine frame (8) with a lateral covering that is present at least in certain areas. The web laying device (1) has an end region (9) on the feed side on one end face. This can be designed as the entry area of the supplied pile web (2) into the fleece layer (1) and its machine frame (8).
The fleece layer (1) has several, e.g. two, main carriages (13, 14). The main carriages are arranged one above the other. The upper main carriage is referred to below as the upper carriage (13) and the lower main carriage as the laying carriage (14). The main carriages (13, 14) move back and forth across the circulating discharge belt (23) transversely or at an angle to the discharge direction (44). They are guided in the machine frame (8) by means of a carriage guide (17). The movements of the main carriages (13, 14) are directed transversely or at an angle to the direction of movement of the discharge belt (23) and to the discharge direction (44).
In the embodiment shown, the fleece layer (1) is designed as a layer that runs in the same direction, with the main carriages (13, 14) always moving in the same direction and at different travel path lengths and speeds. The lower main carriage or laying carriage (14) moves back and forth across the width of the discharge belt (23) and places the supplied web (2) on the discharge belt (23) to form the fleece (24). The upper main carriage or upper carriage (14) moves over half the travel distance of the lower main carriage or laying carriage (14) and moves at half the driving speed.
One laying belt (10) picks up the supplied pile web (2) at the end area (9) and transports it in web direction (7) to the upper main carriage or upper carriage (13). This laying belt (10) is referred to as an infeed belt or as a sheet-guiding laying belt. The other laying belt (11) forms a counter-belt, which is also guided over the upper main carriage or upper carriage (13). On the upper main carriage or upper carriage (13), the supplied web (2) is deflected in the opposite direction, preferably by 180°, where it is then picked up between the laying belts (11, 10) and transported to the lower main carriage or laying carriage (14). .
The upper main carriage or upper carriage (13) has an infeed point (22) for the laying belt (10) or infeed belt and the pile web (2). The counter-bath (11) can be fed in at the inlet point (22), which is designed, for example, like a funnel. A perforated pressure roller (45) for pressing, compressing and deaerating the web (2) can also be arranged in the funnel area. The laying belt (10) and the pile web lying thereon are deflected by 180° on the main carriage or upper carriage (13) via several, e.g. three, deflection means (19).
The fleece layer (1) shown also has one or more, for example two, auxiliary carriages (15,16) which can be moved parallel to the main carriage (13,14) on a preferably common carriage guide (17). The auxiliary carriages (15, 16) are designed, for example, as tensioning carriages, which each pull out a belt loop (20) of a laying belt (10, 11). This serves to compensate for fluctuations in the travel speeds of the main carriages (13, 14), for example for profiling the fleece (24) and to avoid thickening of the edges of the fleece (24).
The auxiliary carriages (15, 16) are each coupled to a main carriage (13, 14) in a suitable manner, e.g. by a traction device or by coupled drives. The upper auxiliary carriage (15) is coupled to the upper main carriage (13) and pulls out the belt loop (20) in the opposite belt (11). The lower auxiliary carriage (16) is coupled to the lower main carriage (14) and pulls out the belt loop (20) in the infeed belt (10).
The auxiliary carriages (15,16) are arranged above the discharge belt (23). One of the upper auxiliary carriages (15) is arranged with its belt loop (20) above the shielding device (3). The other auxiliary carriage (16) is arranged with its belt loop (20) below the shielding device (3). He moves in a space between said main carriages (13,14).
For the main and auxiliary carriages (13, 14, 15, 16) and the laying belts (110, 11) there is a drive device with separate or, in some cases, common drive components. These have, for example, controllable drives, e.g. electromotive servo drives or electric linear motors.
Die Seitenflächen (4) befinden sich an den Längsrändern der Florbahn (2).The shielding device (3) has a housing (25) which, in the installation position shown, extends the side surfaces (4) of the web on the Laying tape (10) covers the pile web (2) and against external environmental influences, especially air currents, shields. The housing (25) also covers, at least in certain areas, the upper side (5) of the pile (2) and thus all free surfaces of the pile (2) on the laying belt (10). The pile web (2) lies with its underside (6) on the laying belt (10). The side surfaces (4) are located on the longitudinal edges of the pile (2).
The housing (25) covers the pile web (2) on the laying belt (10) on at least one side, in particular on the upper side (5), preferably on all free sides or surfaces with a distance. The housing (25) shown has, for example, a hood-like shape and has a wall (26) that is impermeable to external environmental influences, in particular air currents. In the installed position, the housing (25) closely adjoins the laying belt (10), in particular at its longitudinal edges. In this case, the aforementioned shielding channel is formed by the housing (25) and the laying tape (10).
The housing (25) extends in the web direction (7) along the laying belt (10) and the pile web (2) lying thereon and along the travel path of the upper main carriage, in particular the upper carriage (13). The directions of extent can run parallel. They are preferably straight.
The housing (25) extends from the infeed-side end area (9) in the web direction (7) to the upper main carriage or upper carriage (13) and possibly beyond it. The housing (25) is arranged above said main carriage (13).
The end of the housing (25) on the feeding side is located in a trouble-free area of the web layer (1) and outside the travel paths of the carriages (13, 14, 15, 16). That The machine frame (8) has, for example, a yoke-like shape bridging the discharge belt (23) with upright, edge-side stands and connecting longitudinal beams and the carriage guides (17). The housing (25) can end on the feed side at the inner edge of the stand there and at the edge of the end area (9). It can also reach further into the end area (9) counter to the web direction (7).
The housing (25) can have open end faces. Alternatively, the end faces can be closed except for an entry area for the pile web (2) and possibly the laying belt (10).
The housing (25) is e.g. box-like. It can essentially have a C-shape in cross section. The wall (26) can have a rounded and/or prismatic shape in cross section. The wall (26) can be solid and opaque. Alternatively, transparent areas, e.g. windows, can be arranged in one or more places. This does not affect the shielding effect and the airtightness of the wall (26).
The housing (25) and its wall (26) are arranged in the installed position in the fleece laying device (1) in such a way that they interact with the laying belt (10) on their underside and are in sealing engagement with it. The housing (25) is in continuous sealing engagement with the longitudinal edges of the laying belt (10) over the length. The housing (25) can overlap the longitudinal edges of the laying belt (10) transversely to the web direction (7).
The housing (25) has a different engagement with the laying belt (10) over its length or in the web direction (7). The housing (25) is divided into sections (46, 47) along its length. In a first partial area (46), it reaches under the laying belt (10), in particular its longitudinal edges. In another, adjoining partial area (47), the housing (25) overlaps the laying belt (10) or its longitudinal edges. The first partial area (46) with the lower grip extends from the feed-side end area (9) to the end area (9) closest to the end position (42) of the upper main carriage (13) or upper carriage. This sub-area (46) is outside of the main car route. The further partial area (47) with the overlap extends from the nearest end position (42) to the far end position (41) of the upper main carriage (13) or superstructure and possibly beyond.
Oberwagens angeordnet. At the transition point (48) between the first and the following or second partial area (46, 47) there can be a support means (21), e.g . At the transition point (48) the change from under grip to over grip of the housing (25) on the laying belt (10) takes place. The transition point (48) is arranged in the region of an end position (42) of the upper main carriage (13) or upper carriage that is closest to the feed side.
The partial area (47) with the overlap of the housing (25) is located in the area of the track of the upper main carriage (13) or upper carriage. The laying belt (10) is clamped and supported between a deflection means (19) arranged on the infeed end area (9) and a deflection means (19) arranged at the infeed point (22) and movable with said main carriage (13). The deflection means (19) can be designed, for example, as rotatable deflection rollers or in some other way. The laying tape (10) can be unrolled and rolled on relative to the housing (25) along said main carriage travel path. In the case of a travel movement directed toward the end region (9) on the feed side and counter to the web direction (7), the laying belt (10) is unrolled and released from the overlapping of the housing (25). During the opposite movement, the laying tape (10) is rolled onto the housing (25) and brought into contact with the overlap.
