Definitions
- the present invention relates to a spinning machine with a large number of juxtaposed spinning stations, each spinning station having a feed device for a fiber structure, with support devices for the fiber structure, which are assigned to the spinning stations and with an attachment device for the fiber structure, the attachment device at least one tape pick-up for Detecting and receiving a start of the fiber structure and a feed device for supplying the start of the fiber structure to the feed device.
- a maintenance device for fiber-processing textile machines with a plurality of work stations which has a handling device for manipulating fiber sliver.
- the handling device grips the sliver with the aid of a suction tube and a mechanical and / or pneumatic holding device for the sliver.
- the suction pipe has a flattened suction pipe mouth with which a fiber sliver end hanging over a can can be sucked in over a relatively wide area.
- the disadvantage here is that the maintenance device has to be called to the spinning station and, under certain circumstances, has to cover a very long distance along the entire spinning machine. The time required for this reduces the efficiency of the spinning unit.
- a manipulator which has a suction nozzle at its free end for receiving and fixing the beginning of a sliver.
- the sliver is fixed to the can in a clamp so that the end of the sliver can always be found in a defined position.
- the manipulator can thus reach specifically at this point and grasp the sliver.
- the disadvantage here is that each jug with one Clamp must be equipped and the can must be set up in a certain direction of rotation on the machine so that the manipulator can find the end of the tape.
- the manipulator that can be moved along the machine must be positioned very precisely in relation to the spinning station in order to be able to transfer the sliver to the spinning station.
- the DE 43 21 367 A1 discloses a device for automatically applying a sliver to a feed device of a textile machine with a service device.
- the sliver is gripped and fed to the spinning device.
- the gripping of the sliver is simplified in that so-called long cans are used, which are only under a single spinning station and have a width which is less than the width of the spinning station itself. This restricts the area in which the end of the sliver can be located.
- This service facility also operates the entire spinning machine and accordingly has long approaches. This is time-consuming and blocks the spinning position for a very long time until it can start spinning again with a new sliver.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to create a spinning machine with which the disadvantages described can be avoided in order to increase the efficiency of the spinning stations.
- each spinning station has a feed device for a fiber structure.
- Carrying devices for the fiber structure are assigned to the spinning stations.
- An attachment device for the fiber structure comprises at least one tape pick-up for detecting and receiving a beginning of the fiber structure and a feed device for feeding the beginning of the fiber structure to the feeder.
- the attachment device with the tape pick-up and the feed device is at least partially stationary on the spinning machine, preferably at each spinning station, and is assigned to an individual spinning station or a group of spinning stations.
- a corresponding spinning machine can be a rotor spinning machine, an air-jet spinning machine or a ring spinning machine.
- a feed device generally has a feed roller and an opening roller.
- a fiber structure is fed to the feed device and broken up into individual fibers by the opening roller. The fibers are then transferred to a rapidly rotating rotor in which a yarn is spun.
- the fiber structure is fed to a drafting system as a feed device and is thinned by the drafting system. The thinned fiber structure is then transferred to an air-jet nozzle or a ring-traveler system.
- Carrying devices for the fiber structure are either cans in which the fiber structure is stored in a cycloid shape, or spools on which the fiber structure is wound.
- the attachment device with the tape pick-up and the feed device is arranged on the spinning machine in such a way that it can attach a new fiber structure to the old, leaking fiber structure or replace it in a very short time at the spinning station.
- the fiber structure in particular the beginning of the new fiber structure, is first detected and picked up on its carrying device by the attachment device.
- the beginning of the fiber structure is then fed to the feed device. This can be done by pivoting movements or by translatory movements of the tape receiver together with the beginning of the fiber structure.
- the Transfer the beginning of the fiber structure to the feeding device in different ways.
- the beginning of the fiber structure can be brought into a ready position from which it is fed to the feed device after the currently spun fiber structure has run out. However, it can, for example, also be placed, blown or sucked in directly into the feed device.
- the piecing device with the sliver pick-up and the feed device is at least partially stationary on the spinning machine. It is particularly advantageous if there is an attachment device at each spinning station. However, it is also advantageous if the attachment device is provided in a partially stationary manner. This means that it is attached to the spinning machine in the immediate vicinity of the spinning stations and can only get short distances to the spinning station, which requires the attachment of a fiber structure.
- the attachment device is assigned to a single spinning station or a group of spinning stations.
- a group of spinning stations can be, for example, the number of spinning stations which is arranged in a section of the spinning machine and thereby comprise, for example, 8 to 12 spinning stations. It is thus conceivable that the attachment device is partially attached to the section, for example with a guide device on which the tape pick-up and the feed device are movably arranged.
- the simplest and fastest construction of the piecing device consists in the fact that each individual spinning station has its own piecing device. This means that no guide device is required for moving the tape pick-up and feed device.
- the attachment device can attach the fiber structure directly at its spinning station.
- the attachment device further comprises an insertion device for inserting the beginning of the fiber structure into the feed device.
- the beginning of the fiber structure is not only picked up by the carrying device and fed to the feed device, but is also introduced into the feed device by the attachment device.
- the insertion device can have, for example, blow nozzles, suction nozzles or mechanical feed elements.
- the fiber structure is a fiber sliver or a roving which is deposited in cans which are set up in at least one row at the spinning stations, or for the fiber structure to be a roving wound on bobbins.
- a sliver is usually fed to the feed device.
- a roving can also be fed in.
- Roving is an intermediate product which is used as a starting product for end spinning processes, such as ring spinning, air spinning or rotor spinning.
- end spinning processes such as ring spinning, air spinning or rotor spinning.
- the sliver or roving is broken up into individual fibers in the feed device and the subsequent opening roller of the rotor spinning machine and then spun into a yarn.
- a roving is usually submitted to an air-jet spinning machine or a ring spinning machine. It is fed into a drafting system, where it is further drawn and then spun into a yarn.
- the beginning of the sliver or roving is removed from the can or searched for and picked up on the bobbin.
- the beginning of the fiber structure on the can or the spool is deposited at a defined point and, if necessary, fastened there so that it can be found and picked up quickly and easily by the tape pick-up.
- the attachment device is arranged in a separate structural unit, in particular between two spinning stations. If the attachment device is arranged between two spinning stations, it can either be designed to serve only one spinning station. However, it can also be provided for attaching the fiber structure to two adjacent spinning positions. In particular if a separate structural unit is provided, it can be integrated, for example, between two adjacent spinning stations in the spinning machine. Even if this makes the spinning machine longer, it is thus possible for wider cans or bobbins with more capacity to be used at the spinning station.
- the structural unit can be integrated into the spinning machine in a modular manner. In another embodiment, its own structural unit can also be designed in such a way that it is mounted, for example, under the spinning station and from there receives the fiber structure and feeds it to the feed device.
- the attachment device has a preparation device for the improved introduction of the beginning of the fiber structure into the feed device.
- a preparation device can be used to prepare the beginning of the fiber structure so that it can be picked up by the feed device independently and further spinning can be continued without any great delay.
- the preparation device has a sharpening device and / or a splicing device for the start of the fiber structure.
- the sharpening device prepares the beginning of the fiber structure so that it can be inserted as deeply as possible into the feed device can.
- the introduction of the fiber structure into a loop catcher, which prevents the fiber structure from forming loops when it is drawn into the feed device and thereby tearing, can also be improved in this way.
- a splicing device is advantageous. The beginning and the end of the two fiber structures are connected to one another with the splicing device. The end of the old fiber structure thus automatically pulls the beginning of the new fiber structure into the feed device. Any thick spots that this creates in the fiber structure can be cleaned in the subsequently spun yarn.
- the attachment device has a tape severing device for severing a remaining tape section of the outgoing fiber structure.
- a tape severing device for severing a remaining tape section of the outgoing fiber structure.
- the entire old fiber structure is not used up, as this could possibly create flaws in the yarn.
- the draining old fiber structure is separated. This separation can take place, for example, by creating clamping points on the fiber structure that are distant from one another, or by means of blasts of air that act on the old fiber structure.
- the tape pick-up interacts with a tape holder and the feed device.
- the tape pick-up can transfer the picked tape to the feed device if the tape pick-up and the feed device are separate devices.
- the feed device can, however, also be integrated into the tape pick-up. Which version is chosen depends essentially on the structural conditions at the spinning station.
- the interaction with a tape holder is particularly advantageous when the fiber structure on the can, the reel or the spinning station lies in a defined position in the tape holder and can be gripped there by the tape pick-up.
- the tape holder makes it easier for the tape pick-up to find the beginning of the fiber structure because it knows the position of the start of the fiber structure and can pick up the start of the fiber structure at this point.
- the tape pick-up and / or the insertion device is arranged on the feed device.
- the tape pick-up or the insertion device can be brought into the suitable position in order to be able to optimally pick up the fiber structure and transfer it to the feed device.
- the feed device is able, for example, to move to the required position by means of rotary movements and / or translational movements and to transport the fiber structure accordingly.
- the insertion device has pneumatic and / or mechanical conveying means.
- Pneumatic conveying means for example suction and / or blowing nozzles
- Mechanical conveying means such as movable clamps or grippers or conveyor belts, on the other hand, are able to bring the beginning of the fiber structure to a certain position in a controlled manner.
- the feed device for the fiber structure is coupled to a thread handling device and / or to a housing cover of the spinning station.
- the thread handling device or the housing cover are usually present at the spinning stations and are designed to be movable. The possibilities of movement of the thread handling device or the housing cover can be used to also to grasp the beginning of the fiber structure and to introduce it to the feed device and into the feed device.
- auxiliary units which are arranged on devices which can be moved along the spinning machine.
- auxiliary units are, for example, insertion devices or preparation devices, which are not arranged on the attachment device itself, but on, for example, service devices that can be moved along the spinning machine and perform other work, such as changing cans or cleaning the spinning positions.
- Such auxiliary units can also be used to carry out preparatory work which makes it easier to later pick up the fiber structure or to feed or introduce the fiber structure, such as, for example, inserting the beginning of the fiber structure into a tape holder.
- the attachment device has a displacement device for reaching several spinning positions.
- a displacement device is, for example, a rail on which the attachment device is arranged and a drive for the attachment device.
- the rail can be attached along several spinning stations, preferably along the spinning stations of a section of the spinning machine, so that the attachment device can be moved along the rail and can serve the spinning stations of this section.
- FIG. 1 shows a side view of a spinning machine 1 according to the invention, here a rotor spinning machine.
- Eight spinning stations 3.1 to 3.8 are arranged between two end frames 2.
- rotor spinning machines several hundred such spinning positions 3.1 to 3.8 can be arranged next to one another on each side of the machine. As a rule, they are divided into individual sections arranged next to one another, each with 8 to 12 spinning positions 3.1 to 3.8 per machine side.
- Each of the spinning stations 3.1 to 3.8 has a spinning box 10 in which a thread 18 is spun and wound onto a bobbin 19.
- each of the spinning stations 3.1 to 3.8 has its own attachment device 4.
- a tape pick-up 5 and a feed device 6, which are shown schematically, are arranged on each attachment device 4. While the attachment devices 4 of the spinning stations 3.5 to 3.8 are in their rest position, the attachment devices 4 of the spinning stations 3.1 to 3.4 are shown in different working positions.
- the attachment device 4 is designed to be pivotable, as indicated by the circle shown in dashed lines at spinning station 3.1.
- the pivoting movement can either take place through 360 degrees, or it can also be limited to the area of its own spinning station 3.1 to 3.8.
- the tape pick-up 5 is able to pick up the beginning of a fiber structure 7 from a tape holder 8.
- This tape holder 8 is arranged in the embodiment of the spinning station 3.1 on a can 9 set up under the spinning station 3.1.
- the cans 9 of the individual spinning stations 3.1 to 3.8 are arranged in two rows one behind the other. In the other spinning positions 3.2 to 3.8, the tape holder 8 is located on an underside of the respective spinning position 3.2 to 3.8.
- the tape receiver 5 picks up the beginning of the fiber structure 7 on this tape holder 8 arranged below the spinning station 3.2.
- the tape holder 8 can, however, also be arranged at another suitable location.
- the feed device 6 pivots upwards in the direction of a spinning box 10 of the spinning station 3.1 to 3.4.
- the attachment device 4 stops the corresponding spinning position 3.3 in the area of a loop catcher 11.
- An insertion device 12 arranged on the attachment device 4 causes the beginning of the fiber structure 7 to be threaded into the loop catcher 11 at this point.
- the loop catcher 11 can be designed in the manner of an eyelet or else have a lateral opening into which the fiber structure 7 is inserted.
- the attachment device 4 pivots further in the direction of the spinning box 10, on which a feed device 13 is located.
- the insertion device 12 has the effect that the beginning of the fiber structure 7 is inserted into the feed device 13.
- the insertion device 12 can, for example, open the feed device 13 so that the insertion process can be carried out more easily.
- FIG 2a a side view of an attachment device 4 is shown.
- the attachment device 4 is rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation D. It has the tape pick-up 5 and the feed device 6.
- the tape pick-up 5 is arranged on the feed device 6 and can be brought into the required position by means of the feed device 6 in order to pick up a fiber structure 7, for example from a tape holder 8, and feed it to a loop catcher 11 and a feed device 13 (see FIG Figure 1 ).
- the feed device 6 can be rotated about the axis of rotation D and, if necessary, can also be designed to be variable in length in order to be able to carry out a translational movement.
- the tape pick-up 5 comprises the insertion device 12, which is designed here as a blowing nozzle.
- a fiber structure 7, which is clamped between two jaws 14a, 14b of two grippers 14, can be manipulated.
- Appropriate control of the two grippers 14 and the insertion device 12 can the beginning of the fiber structure 7 can be introduced into the feed device 13.
- Figure 2b shows a plan view of the attachment device 4 according to FIG Figure 2a .
- the tape pick-up 5 is U-shaped.
- the fiber structure 7, which is clamped between the two jaws 14a and 14b of the gripper 14, is located within the U-shape of the tape receiver 5.
- the beginning of the fiber structure 7 can be inserted into the loop catcher 11 or the feed device 13 through the insertion device 12.
- the gripper 14 in this exemplary embodiment is able to move the two jaws 14a and 14b together or separately.
- the two jaws 14a and 14b can also produce a separation of the fiber structure 7 with a corresponding activation. This is particularly important if a remaining length of the old fiber structure is to be cut off.
- a splicing device can also be integrated in the tape pick-up 5, with which the beginning of the new fiber structure 7 is pneumatically connected to the end of the old fiber structure.
- FIG 3 a section of a side view of a spinning machine 1 according to the invention with its own structural units 15 for the attachment device 4 is shown.
- the associated structural unit 15 is arranged laterally next to each spinning station 3.
- the structural unit 15 comprises the attachment device 4 and possibly control and drive elements.
- Spinning station 3 and structural unit 15 are together wider than just a single spinning station 3. Although this lengthens the spinning machine 1, it enables larger ones Can 9 can be positioned under the spinning machine 1.
- These larger cans 9 have a larger capacity for a fiber structure 7, as a result of which a change in the fiber structure 7 is to be expected less frequently.
- FIG. 4 The detail of a side view of a spinning machine 1 according to the invention according to Figure 4 shows an attachment device 4 for two adjacent spinning stations 3.1 and 3.2 or 3.3 and 3.4.

- Figure 5 shows a detail of a side view of a spinning machine 1 according to the invention with the attachment device 4 on a cover 16 of the spinning station 3.
- the cover 16 is able to perform folding movements or linear movements in order to open the spinning box 10 and, for example, to clean the rotor or replace it to enable spinning elements.
- This movement of the cover 16 can be used in order to be able to transfer an additional movement component to the attachment device 4.
- the fiber structure 7, when it is gripped by the attachment device 4 can be moved from the tape holder 8 to the loop catcher 11 and into the feed device 13, in that not only the attachment device 4 performs rotary or translational movements, but also the cover 16 the attachment device 4 moves accordingly as a whole.
- FIG 6 a section of a side view of a spinning machine 1 according to the invention with an attachment device 4 on a thread handling device 17 is shown.

- the displacement device 20 is displaceable along a rail guide 21 such that it can reach the individual spinning positions 3.1 to 3.4.
- the displacement device 20 is positioned at the corresponding spinning station 3.1 to 3.4, takes the fiber structure 7 from the tape holder 8 and guides it to the loop catcher 11 and the feed device 13.
- the displacement device 20 moves the attachment device 4 to the corresponding new position.
- the rail guide 21 is assigned to a predetermined number of spinning stations 3.1 to 3.4.
- a rail guide 21 is preferably provided for each spinning station 3 of a section of the spinning machine 1.
- Figure 8 shows a side view of a spinning machine 1 according to the invention with an attachment device 4 and with an auxiliary unit 22.
- auxiliary work is, for example, looking for the fiber structure 7 on the can 9 and the insertion of the fiber structure 7 into the tape holder 8.
- the auxiliary unit 22 can perform rotary and / or translational movements. For example, finding the beginning of the fiber structure 7 on the can 9 can be very time-consuming. Since this can be done, however, before the spinning station 3 has to stop spinning due to the lack of fiber structure 7, this expenditure of time is less critical with regard to the efficiency of the spinning station 3 and to be introduced into the loop catcher 11 and into the feed device 13.
- the auxiliary unit 22 can be arranged, for example, on a service device 23 which patrols along the spinning machine 1 and, if necessary, carries out the auxiliary work at the corresponding spinning station 3.
- the service device 23 can also be provided for other tasks, for example cleaning the spinning station 3 or changing the yarn bobbin 19 or further work when attaching a new thread 18 after a thread break.

A corresponding spinning machine can be a rotor spinning machine, an air-jet spinning machine or a ring spinning machine. In a rotor spinning machine, a feed device generally has a feed roller and an opening roller. A fiber structure is fed to the feed device and broken up into individual fibers by the opening roller. The fibers are then transferred to a rapidly rotating rotor in which a yarn is spun. In the case of an air-jet spinning machine or a ring spinning machine, the fiber structure is fed to a drafting system as a feed device and is thinned by the drafting system. The thinned fiber structure is then transferred to an air-jet nozzle or a ring-traveler system.
Carrying devices for the fiber structure are either cans in which the fiber structure is stored in a cycloid shape, or spools on which the fiber structure is wound.
According to the invention, the attachment device with the tape pick-up and the feed device is arranged on the spinning machine in such a way that it can attach a new fiber structure to the old, leaking fiber structure or replace it in a very short time at the spinning station. For this purpose, the fiber structure, in particular the beginning of the new fiber structure, is first detected and picked up on its carrying device by the attachment device. The beginning of the fiber structure is then fed to the feed device. This can be done by pivoting movements or by translatory movements of the tape receiver together with the beginning of the fiber structure. Depending on the type of feed device, the Transfer the beginning of the fiber structure to the feeding device in different ways. For example, the beginning of the fiber structure can be brought into a ready position from which it is fed to the feed device after the currently spun fiber structure has run out. However, it can, for example, also be placed, blown or sucked in directly into the feed device.
In order to be able to carry out the piecing process close to the expiry of the old fiber structure, it is provided according to the invention that the piecing device with the sliver pick-up and the feed device is at least partially stationary on the spinning machine. The attachment device is assigned to a single spinning station or a group of spinning stations. A group of spinning stations can be, for example, the number of spinning stations which is arranged in a section of the spinning machine and thereby comprise, for example, 8 to 12 spinning stations. It is thus conceivable that the attachment device is partially attached to the section, for example with a guide device on which the tape pick-up and the feed device are movably arranged. The simplest and fastest construction of the piecing device, however, consists in the fact that each individual spinning station has its own piecing device. This means that no guide device is required for moving the tape pick-up and feed device. The attachment device can attach the fiber structure directly at its spinning station.
It is particularly advantageous if the attachment device further comprises an insertion device for inserting the beginning of the fiber structure into the feed device. In this way, the beginning of the fiber structure is not only picked up by the carrying device and fed to the feed device, but is also introduced into the feed device by the attachment device. For this purpose, the insertion device can have, for example, blow nozzles, suction nozzles or mechanical feed elements. When the beginning of the fiber structure is in the vicinity of the feed device, the start of the fiber structure is introduced into the feed device by the insertion device so that it can continue spinning with the new fiber structure.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the fiber structure is a fiber sliver or a roving which is deposited in cans which are set up in at least one row at the spinning stations, or for the fiber structure to be a roving wound on bobbins. In the case of a rotor spinning machine, a sliver is usually fed to the feed device. Alternatively, a roving can also be fed in. Roving is an intermediate product which is used as a starting product for end spinning processes, such as ring spinning, air spinning or rotor spinning. When producing roving, it is important that the yarn twist is so small that it can be broken up again in the final spinning process and that it is large enough to ensure safe transport and trouble-free delivery to the final spinning device. The sliver or roving is broken up into individual fibers in the feed device and the subsequent opening roller of the rotor spinning machine and then spun into a yarn. A roving is usually submitted to an air-jet spinning machine or a ring spinning machine. It is fed into a drafting system, where it is further drawn and then spun into a yarn. In the simplest case, the beginning of the sliver or roving is removed from the can or searched for and picked up on the bobbin. With further versions it is also possible that the beginning of the fiber structure on the can or the spool is deposited at a defined point and, if necessary, fastened there so that it can be found and picked up quickly and easily by the tape pick-up.
It is also advantageous if the attachment device is arranged in a separate structural unit, in particular between two spinning stations. In addition, the structural unit can be integrated into the spinning machine in a modular manner. In another embodiment, its own structural unit can also be designed in such a way that it is mounted, for example, under the spinning station and from there receives the fiber structure and feeds it to the feed device.
It also brings advantages if the attachment device has a preparation device for the improved introduction of the beginning of the fiber structure into the feed device. A preparation device can be used to prepare the beginning of the fiber structure so that it can be picked up by the feed device independently and further spinning can be continued without any great delay.
It is also advantageous if the preparation device has a sharpening device and / or a splicing device for the start of the fiber structure. The sharpening device prepares the beginning of the fiber structure so that it can be inserted as deeply as possible into the feed device can. The introduction of the fiber structure into a loop catcher, which prevents the fiber structure from forming loops when it is drawn into the feed device and thereby tearing, can also be improved in this way. In the event that the beginning of the new fiber structure is to be connected to the end of the old fiber structure still running into the feed device, a splicing device is advantageous. The beginning and the end of the two fiber structures are connected to one another with the splicing device. The end of the old fiber structure thus automatically pulls the beginning of the new fiber structure into the feed device. Any thick spots that this creates in the fiber structure can be cleaned in the subsequently spun yarn.
It is also advantageous if the attachment device has a tape severing device for severing a remaining tape section of the outgoing fiber structure. In some cases it is desirable that the entire old fiber structure is not used up, as this could possibly create flaws in the yarn. In this case, from a predetermined point in time and a remaining remaining length of the outgoing fiber structure, the draining old fiber structure is separated. This separation can take place, for example, by creating clamping points on the fiber structure that are distant from one another, or by means of blasts of air that act on the old fiber structure.
Welche Ausführung gewählt wird, hängt im Wesentlichen von den baulichen Gegebenheiten an der Spinnstelle ab.It is also advantageous if the tape pick-up interacts with a tape holder and the feed device. The tape pick-up can transfer the picked tape to the feed device if the tape pick-up and the feed device are separate devices. The feed device can, however, also be integrated into the tape pick-up. Which version is chosen depends essentially on the structural conditions at the spinning station.
The interaction with a tape holder is particularly advantageous when the fiber structure on the can, the reel or the spinning station lies in a defined position in the tape holder and can be gripped there by the tape pick-up. The tape holder makes it easier for the tape pick-up to find the beginning of the fiber structure because it knows the position of the start of the fiber structure and can pick up the start of the fiber structure at this point.
It has particular advantages if the tape pick-up and / or the insertion device is arranged on the feed device. By means of the feed device, the tape pick-up or the insertion device can be brought into the suitable position in order to be able to optimally pick up the fiber structure and transfer it to the feed device. The feed device is able, for example, to move to the required position by means of rotary movements and / or translational movements and to transport the fiber structure accordingly.
It is also advantageous if the insertion device has pneumatic and / or mechanical conveying means. Pneumatic conveying means, for example suction and / or blowing nozzles, are often suitable for moving the beginning of the fiber structure in a direction in which it can be optimally introduced into the feed device or a loop catcher. Mechanical conveying means, such as movable clamps or grippers or conveyor belts, on the other hand, are able to bring the beginning of the fiber structure to a certain position in a controlled manner.
It also has advantages if the feed device for the fiber structure is coupled to a thread handling device and / or to a housing cover of the spinning station. The thread handling device or the housing cover are usually present at the spinning stations and are designed to be movable. The possibilities of movement of the thread handling device or the housing cover can be used to also to grasp the beginning of the fiber structure and to introduce it to the feed device and into the feed device.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the attachment device works together with auxiliary units which are arranged on devices which can be moved along the spinning machine. These auxiliary units are, for example, insertion devices or preparation devices, which are not arranged on the attachment device itself, but on, for example, service devices that can be moved along the spinning machine and perform other work, such as changing cans or cleaning the spinning positions. Such auxiliary units can also be used to carry out preparatory work which makes it easier to later pick up the fiber structure or to feed or introduce the fiber structure, such as, for example, inserting the beginning of the fiber structure into a tape holder.
It is also advantageous if the attachment device has a displacement device for reaching several spinning positions. Such a displacement device is, for example, a rail on which the attachment device is arranged and a drive for the attachment device. The rail can be attached along several spinning stations, preferably along the spinning stations of a section of the spinning machine, so that the attachment device can be moved along the rail and can serve the spinning stations of this section.
