- the amount of the losses depend on the parameters of the micro-perforated plate and the properties of the fluid (air).
- the holes (and the perforation constant) need to be small enough so that they restrict the sound waves to propagate through them. Reactance causes the sound waves to resonate through the hole when the sound waves pass through the hole many times, the friction losses caused by the hole are also added many times.

Claims (13)
- Luftschalldämpfer (24), der an einen Verdichterteil (12) eines Turboladers (10) angeschlossen werden kann, der umfasst einen Flanschteil (26), der mit einer Luftpassage (54) versehen ist, die konfiguriert ist, um an eine Luftansaugöffnung des Verdichterteils auf eine luftdichte Art anschließbar zu sein,
eine Anzahl Schall dämmender Abschirmungen (50), die voneinander derart getrennt sind, dass sie eine Luftpassage (54) für eine Ansaugluft durch den Luftschalldämpfer (24) zu der Luftpassage (54) bilden, wobei die Abschirmungen (50) eine mikroperforierte Platte (56.1, 56.2) umfassen, die mit einer Mikroperforation (53) versehen ist, und eine Rückseitenplatte (60) sowie einen Raum (57), der zwischen der mikroperforierten Platte (56.1, 56.2) und der Rückseitenplatte (60) eingerichtet ist, und der Raum (57) eine Abstandhaltermatrix (58.1, 58.2) umfasst, die eine Anzahl von Teilhohlräumen (64) in dem Raum (57) bereitstellt, die fluidisch mit der Mikroperforation (53) in Verbindung stehen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens eine der Abschirmungen (50) in dem Luftschalldämpfer (24) eine erste mikroperforierte Platte (56.1, 56.2) und eine zweite mikroperforierte Platte (56.1, 56.2) und zwischen ihnen einen ersten Raum (57), der teilweise von der ersten mikroperforierten Platte (56.1, 56.2) umrandet ist, und einen zweiten Raum (57), der teilweise von der zweiten mikroperforierten Platte (56.1, 56.2) umrandet ist, umfasst, wobei der erste und der zweite Raum (57) fluidisch voneinander getrennt sind, und dass die erste mikroperforierte Platte (56.1, 56.2) Öffnungen aufweist, die einen ersten Durchmesser aufweisen, und die zweite mikroperforierte Platte (56.1, 56.2) Öffnungen umfasst, die einen zweiten Durchmesser, der von dem ersten Durchmesser unterschiedlich ist, umfasst. - Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Teilhohlraum (64) einen effektiven Durchmesser De = (4 A)/P aufweist, wobei A die Querschnittfläche und P die Länge des Umfangs des Teilhohlraums (64) ist, und dass der effektive Durchmesser kleiner ist als die Hälfte der Wellenlänge der ausgewählten Dämpfungsfrequenz.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erste und der zweite Raum voneinander durch eine gemeinsame Rückseitenplatte (60) getrennt sind, die zwischen der ersten mikroperforierten Platte (56.1, 56.2) und der zweiten mikroperforierten Platte (56.1, 56.2) eingerichtet ist.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Abstandhaltermatrix (58.1, 58.2) gleichmäßig über die Fläche zwischen der Rückseitenplatte (60) und der mikroperforierten Platte (56.1, 56.2) erstreckt.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Teilhohlräume (64) der Abstandhaltermatrix (58.1, 58.2) fluidisch voneinander getrennt sind.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abstandhaltermatrix (58.1, 58.2) eine Wabenstruktur umfasst, die mit einer Wand, die sich senkrecht zu der Ebene der mikroperforierten Platte (56.1, 56.2) erstreckt, versehen ist.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mikroperforierte Platte (56.1, 56.2) kreisförmige Öffnungen umfasst, wobei der Durchmesser der kreisförmigen Öffnungen < 1 mm ist.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mikroperforierte Platte (56.1, 56.2) kreisförmige Öffnungen umfasst, die gleiche Durchmesser aufweisen, und dass eine Distanz zwischen Mitten zweier aneinandergrenzender Öffnungen zu dem Durchmesser der Öffnung kleiner ist als 0,2.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mikroperforierte Platte (56.1, 56.2) kreisförmige Öffnungen aufweist, die gleiche Durchmesser und gleiche Distanz zwischen den Öffnungen aufweisen, und dass das Verhältnis einer Distanz zwischen Mitten zweier aneinandergrenzender Öffnungen zu dem Durchmesser der Öffnung kleiner ist als 0,2.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dicke der mikroperforierten Platte (56.1, 56.2) 0,5 bis 2 Mal den Durchmesser der kreisförmigen Öffnung beträgt.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Tiefe des Raums (57) 2 bis 25 Mal den Durchmesser der kreisförmigen Öffnung beträgt.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Flanschteil (26) mit einer zentralen Luftpassage (54) versehen ist, und die Schall dämmenden Abschirmungen (50) kreisförmige Form aufweisen, die mit einer zentralen Öffnung koaxial zu dem Flanschteil (26) versehen ist, und dass der Schalldämpfer (24) eine Endabdeckung umfasst, die parallel zu und in einer Distanz von dem Flanschteil (26) eingerichtet ist, und dass die Schall dämmenden Abschirmungen (50) zwischen dem Flanschteil (26) und der Endabdeckung gestapelt sind.
- Luftschalldämpfer (24) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schall dämmende Abschirmung kreisförmige Form aufweist, die mit einer zentralen Öffnung koaxial zu dem Flanschteil (26) versehen ist, und dass radial innere und äußere Ränder der Abschirmungen gasdicht abgedichtet sind.
