Definitions

  • the invention relates to a building door with a door frame, a door wing and a door hinge, the door hinge having a frame part and a wing part, which are connected to one another via a first hinge bracket and a second hinge bracket, the door hinge having an opening angle of at least 135, starting from the closed position ° until a maximum opening position is reached and the joint brackets form a 4-axis joint arrangement, in which the first joint bracket is attached to the frame part so as to be rotatable about a first frame part axis and to the wing part so as to be rotatable about a first wing part axis and wherein the second joint bracket is attached to the frame part is rotatably attached about a second frame part axis and on the wing part rotatable about a second wing part axis and the two joint brackets are not directly connected to one another.
  • the frame part has two side legs and at least one middle leg, the joint brackets being rotatably arranged in a joint bracket section between a side leg
  • the present invention specifically relates to a building door, whereby the door hinge must be able to absorb the weight and leverage forces exerted by a door leaf.
  • a corresponding door leaf usually has an area of at least 1 m 2 and a weight of at least 10 kg.
  • Building doors come e.g. E.g. front doors, apartment entrance doors or even room doors.
  • the door hinge must on the one hand have sufficient stability, but on the other hand it must often be inconspicuous Appearance of the door hinge is required so that the building door, which is formed from a door wing, a door frame and usually at least two door hinges, fits well into a surrounding wall surface and has a high-quality appearance.
  • the door hinge should usually be arranged concealed between the door leaf and the door frame, although various concepts have emerged in the past.
  • this describes DE 101 64 979 B4 a concealed door hinge that is inserted into the narrow side of a door leaf and the reveal side of a door frame and is not visible when the door is closed.
  • the two joint brackets are each rotatable at one of their ends about a vertical axis of rotation and are guided at their other end to be longitudinally displaceable and rotatable.
  • the two joint brackets at the ends of connecting middle sections are connected to one another about a further vertical axis of rotation, so that overall there is a 5-axis joint arrangement in which two of the joint axes are additionally guided along slots.
  • the US 2,901,766 A describes a hinge, especially for vehicle doors, with a 4-axis joint arrangement, in which the hinge brackets are arranged in front of each other in order to enable a slim structure in the vertical direction.
  • the hinge is formed as a sheet metal part and has a wing part for surface-mounted installation.
  • a generic building door with a 4-axis joint arrangement is, for example, from the DE 10 2017 100 270 known, in which in particular a door frame made of glass is attached to the wing part in a compact manner.
  • a clamping device is provided into which the glass door is inserted and fixed using clamping means that exert pressure on the Exercising door leaf surface. This makes it possible to fix the door leaf without drilling holes in the glass door.
  • a recess is also provided in a mirror section of the door frame, through which the clamping device is passed in sections during the opening or closing movement. Without this recess, a pivoting movement would be blocked, so that the door frame must be processed accordingly before the door hinge is installed. In addition, this door hinge was only suitable for use on glass doors. It is not possible to install classic wooden doors or doors made of aluminum profiles due to their thickness.
  • US 2,570,479 describes a generic building door with a 4-axis kinematics, whereby the wing part and the frame part are inserted into corresponding recesses in the door frames and the door wing and then attached to them. These recesses are usually made in the form of milling, and these work steps are generally very time-consuming. However, it can be achieved that a door gap with a small gap is created between the door leaf and the door frame in a closed position, which can also be covered by a fold on the door leaf side.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a building door whose door hinge is compact and versatile can be used and on the other hand can be mounted in an easy way.
  • the wing part is attached to a narrow side of the door wing and the wing part axes are arranged in the closed position within the door gap between the door wing and the door frame.
  • the wing part By attaching the wing part to the narrow side of the door leaf, it can be achieved that in the closed position the wing part does not extend out of the door gap in a first horizontal direction, which extends perpendicular to the door leaf. Thus, in the closed position, all components of the wing part lie between a plane defined by the front and back of the door wing.
  • the frame part is also preferably arranged in the closed position between these levels, so that the door hinge can be covered using simple means.
  • a rebated door leaf for example, is ideal for this purpose.
  • a special privacy screen can be attached to the door leaf after installation.
  • the door frame can also have a fold.
  • the door leaf then preferably moves away from this fold when it is opened. In the closed position, the door leaf can then rest on the door frame via the fold. If both the door leaf and the door frame each have a fold, a view of the door hinge in the closed position can be prevented from both sides of the building door.
  • the wing part axes are arranged within the door gap between the door wing and the door frame.
  • the invention is a departure from known door hinges in which the wing part is inserted into a recess or cutout on the narrow side of the door wing, with the wing part axes also being arranged within the door wing.
  • Such a design is not necessary due to the compact design of the door hinge, so that the door gap provided anyway is sufficient to accommodate the wing part axes, which are usually formed by rotatable bolt connections.
  • the wing part axes are arranged within the door gap, but the entire wing part.
  • This enables surface-mounted installation on the narrow side of the door leaf, with prior processing, e.g. B. in the form of millings, is not necessary.
  • the wing part can be in a simple manner, e.g. B. can be attached to a flat narrow side of the door leaf by screwing without any prior processing steps.
  • the arrangement of the wing part axes or the entire arrangement of the wing part within the door gap is made possible not only by the compact design of the wing part, but also by the special design of the hinge brackets and the frame part.
  • a large part of the hinge bracket is arranged in the closed position within the frame part and/or within the door frame, so that only a small proportion of the hinge bracket has to find space within the door gap. This is all the more important since the door gap preferably has a gap dimension of less than 15 mm, preferably less than 12 mm.
  • the door hinge is used in a building door whose door frame is designed as a hollow profile.
  • Hollow profiles are usually made of aluminum and offer the advantage that they already have a hollow chamber for the use of the frame part. Such a door frame therefore only needs to be milled out on the reveal side wall, in which case the frame part can then be inserted and attached to the reveal side.
  • the cavity then offers space for the hinged bracket in the closed position, so that if a suitable hollow profile is selected, a rear limitation of the door hinge, which would then also limit the pivoting movement of the hinged bracket, is not necessary.
  • the door leaf in principle, it is also possible for the door leaf to be made from a hollow profile, e.g. B. is made of aluminum.
  • other doors can also be used, e.g. B. classic wooden doors or wooden doors with a double layer can be used.
  • a groove extending in the vertical direction along the fold is preferably provided on the fold, into which a sealing tape is inserted, which is pressed against the door frame in the closed position.
  • the door frame preferably has a recess running along the vertical direction, the depth of which is selected such that the door frame and the door leaf are arranged next to one another in alignment in the closed position and form a common planar plane.
  • the door hinge can therefore have a fastening level for surface mounting on the narrow side of the door leaf, which is formed on the frame part.
  • the wing part axes are preferably arranged in front of the fastening level.
  • the fastening level refers to the level via which the frame part can be attached to the narrow side of the door leaf or which rests on the narrow side of the door leaf in the assembled state.
  • the fastening level usually has several holes into which fasteners can be inserted, for example. B. screws can be used, with the fasteners extending through the holes behind the fastening level.
  • the rear side of the fastening level refers to the side facing the narrow side of the door leaf in the closed position and the front refers to the side facing the door frame. Even in the unassembled state, the mounting level as well as its front and rear sides are clearly defined, with the front facing the frame part in the closed position.
  • Such a design makes it possible to create a door hinge that can be used in a suitable manner as part of a mounted assembly.
  • sections of the wing part within a recess, for. B. are arranged in a cutout in the door leaf.
  • Such a design can be useful, for example, if additional adjustment means are provided, but due to the compact design of the door hinge cannot be realized. Even with such a configuration, the wing part axes are still arranged in front of the fastening plane.
  • the frame part and/or the wing part can be formed from sheet metal.
  • the commonly used manufacturing processes e.g. B. injection molding or machining processes, this makes simple and cost-effective production possible.
  • a connecting line between the centers of the first and second wing part axes runs parallel to the fastening plane in the closed state. Since the fastening plane is usually placed on a narrow side of the door leaf that runs parallel to it, the connecting line between the centers of the first and second leaf part axes in an assembled state in the closed position runs not only parallel to the fastening plane but also to the narrow side of the door leaf.
  • the center points of the first and second wing part axes therefore have no offset in a first horizontal direction, although in principle a slight offset is also possible.
  • the angle enclosed by the connecting line and the fastening plane and/or the angle enclosed by the connecting line and the narrow side of the door leaf is then preferably less than 10°, preferably less than 5°. Due to this slight or non-existent offset, the frame part can be made correspondingly narrow in the direction of the gap, so that during assembly the arrangement within the door gap is possible even with small gap dimensions within the gap.
  • the distance between the sash part and the frame part in the gap direction is preferably less than 5 mm. It is also possible here that the wing part and the frame part overlap, with sections of the wing part then engaging in the frame part or sections of the frame part engaging in the wing part.
  • the overlap is preferably between 0.1 and 3 mm, e.g. B. 1 mm.
  • the frame part has at least one frame part fastening section, but preferably two frame part fastening sections, via which the frame part can be fastened to a reveal side of the door frame.
  • the frame part fastening sections also each have a frame-side fastening level, which in an assembled state rests on the reveal side of the door frame.
  • holes are usually provided in the frame part fastening sections into which the fastening means z. B. screws can be used, so that screwing to the door frame is possible, for example.
  • the first and/or the second hinge bracket in the closed state is arranged behind the frame-side fastening plane of the at least one frame fastening section to a proportion of at least 70% based on the width of the hinge bracket.
  • the width of the joint brackets corresponds to the maximum spatial extent of the joint brackets along a second horizontal direction, which extends perpendicular to the wing-side attachment plane.
  • the second horizontal direction usually corresponds to the gap direction, that is to say a direction perpendicular to the reveal side of the door frame.
  • the hinge bracket or brackets are arranged behind the frame-side fastening plane or therefore also in the assembled state within the door frame.
  • the rear side of the fastening level therefore faces the reveal side of the door frame, while the front of the frame-side fastening level faces the wing-side fastening level or, in the assembled state, the narrow side of the door leaf.
  • a corresponding proportion of 70% represents a lower limit, although the proportion can, for example, be more than 80% or even more than 90%.
  • the first and/or the second joint bracket is arranged in the closed position to a maximum proportion of 30%, preferably a maximum of 20%, particularly preferably a maximum of 10%, based on the width of the joint bracket, in front of the frame-side fastening plane of the at least one frame part fastening section.
  • a maximum of 30%, preferably a maximum of 20%, particularly preferably a maximum of 10%, of the width of the hinge brackets are arranged within the door gap.
  • the wing part preferably has a plurality of bends arranged parallel to one another, with the first and/or the second hinge bracket being rotatably attached between two bends of the wing part.
  • These bends can be created particularly easily by bending a wing part designed as a sheet metal part.
  • the bends and also the joint brackets each have a hole, so that if the holes in the bends and in the respective joint bracket are aligned with one another, a rotatable connection can be created by using a stud bolt.
  • the bends are preferably arranged completely within the door gap and extend along the gap direction, it is advantageous with a view to achieving the smallest possible gap if the bends of the wing part engage at least partially in the frame part in the closed position.
  • the overlap between the wing and the frame part in the second horizontal direction is in a range of 0.1 to 10 mm, preferably in the range of 0.2 to 5 mm, particularly preferably in the range of 0.3 to 1 mm.
  • a connecting line between the centers of the first and second frame part axes and the connecting line between the centers of the first and second frame part axes preferably form an angle of 85° to 95°, e.g. B. 90°.
  • the two connecting lines are therefore almost or exactly perpendicular to one another. This has the advantage, on the one hand, that the wing part axes can be brought as close as possible to the door leaf and, on the other hand, that the frame part axes can be brought close to a side part of the frame wall.
  • the hinge brackets can be arranged to a large extent within the cavity and at the same time a large pivoting movement is possible.
  • the maximum width of the skeleton line of the first and/or the second joint bracket is larger than the distance between the wing part axis and the frame part axis running in the second horizontal direction.
  • the skeleton line here refers to the connecting line of the circle centers inscribed in the respective joint bracket profile.
  • the door hinge has a third hinge bracket, the first hinge bracket being arranged between the second and the third hinge bracket.
  • the third joint bracket and the second joint bracket are preferably designed identically.
  • all of the aforementioned features regarding the first or second joint bracket also apply to the third joint bracket.
  • the third hinge bracket has a third wing part axis and a third frame part axis, the third wing part axis being arranged in front of the fastening plane or in the assembled state within the door gap in the closed position. Since the second and third joint brackets are designed identically, the second and third wing part axes as well as the second and third frame part axes coincide, so that a 4-axis joint arrangement is still formed.
  • the frame part has a first and a second side leg as well as a first and a second frame part fastening section, the frame part fastening sections connecting to a corresponding side leg.
  • the frame part fastening section can be formed on a first fastening part which is fastened to the first side leg.
  • the second frame part fastening section is then formed on a second fastening part and this in turn is fastened to the second side leg.
  • the side legs preferably have an angle through which the side legs engage in a recess in the corresponding fastening part.
  • the respective bend and also the fastening section can each have a hole that is aligned with one another, so that the fastening part can be clamped to the side legs using a screw connection.
  • the frame part in an alternative embodiment, it is also possible for the frame part to be designed in one piece, with a one-piece design being understood as an integral design in the sense of the invention. All components of the frame part, in particular the side legs and the frame part fastening sections, can be formed from just one workpiece. It is also useful if bends are provided on the side legs, in which case the frame part fastening sections are formed directly on the bends.
  • a one-piece design is also expedient for the wing part, with the invention also comprising wing parts that are designed in several parts.
  • the frame part also has at least one middle section, wherein in an embodiment having two joint brackets, the first joint bracket is rotatably arranged between a first side leg and the middle leg and the second joint bracket is rotatably arranged between the middle leg and the second side leg.
  • the invention is not limited to just one middle leg.
  • a second middle leg is provided, with the first joint bow then being arranged between the two middle legs.
  • Both the side and the middle legs are connected to one another at least via a crossbar and thereby form an integrally formed section of the frame part, whereby the fastening parts can be releasably attached to it.
  • the legs can also be connected to a rear connecting leg, which then delimits the frame part in the assembled state in the direction of the door frame.
  • a rear boundary in the form of a connecting leg is not provided for at least two legs arranged next to one another. This is particularly useful for a door frame made from a hollow profile, since the hinge bracket arranged in between can be used, for example.
  • the first and / or the second joint bracket can then enter freely into the cavity and fully utilize it, while at the same time the frame part continues to be designed to be compact.
  • no rear boundary is preferably provided between the middle legs.
  • the Fig. 1 shows a section of a building door with a door frame 1, a door leaf 2 and a door hinge 3.
  • the door leaf 2 is usually over at least two of the in Fig. 1 shown door hinges 3 supported on the door frame, whereby the Fig. 1 one of these two identically designed door hinges 3 shows.
  • the door hinge 3 has a 4-axis joint arrangement. Specifically, the door hinge 3 has a first hinge bracket 4, which is arranged in a vertical direction Z between a second hinge bracket 5 and a third hinge bracket 6.
  • the second joint bracket 5 and the third joint bracket 6 are of the same design and are also rotatably connected to the frame part 7 and to a wing part 8 in the same way. With regard to the movement of the door hinge 3, the second hinge bracket 5 and the third hinge bracket 6 behave in the same way. In principle, within the scope of the invention, an embodiment with only a first joint bracket 4 and a second joint bracket 5 is sufficient.
  • the arrangement of the second joint bracket 5 and the third joint bracket 6, which is symmetrical with respect to a central plane, is intended for reasons of uniform force distribution and is purely exemplary.
  • the door hinge 3 has an opening angle of 180 ° starting from a closed position until it reaches a maximum opening position.
  • the wing part 8 is attached to a narrow side 9 of the door leaf 2 and the frame part to the reveal side 10 of the door frame 1.
  • the door frame 1 and the door leaf 2 are also spaced apart from one another via a door gap 35, the door gap 35 being the distance between the narrow side 9 of the door leaf 2 and the reveal side 10 of the door frame 1 describes.
  • This door gap 35 is particularly clear in the reduced representation of the Fig. 3 to recognize.
  • first partial wing axis 11 and the second partial wing axis 12 are arranged within the door gap 35 between the door leaf 2 and the door frame 1. In the examples shown, however, not only the wing part axes 11, 12 are arranged within the door gap 35, but rather the entire wing part 8, with fastening means for fastening the wing part 8 to the door leaf 2 not being included in the frame part 8.
  • the gap size S of the gap 35 is 12 mm, with the frame part 8 extending over a width of 10 mm within the gap 35.
  • both the door frame 1 and the door leaf 2 are formed from a hollow profile.
  • Such hollow profiles are usually made of aluminum, since on the one hand they can be processed and processed in a simple manner and on the other hand they have a sufficiently high level of stability.
  • the building door can also be made from a hollow profile without a door frame 1 and a door leaf, such a design making sense at least for the door frame 1, since the cavity 13 formed by the hollow profile on the frame side is suitable for both the frame part 7 and in sections to a predominant extent to accommodate the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 in the closed state. This is particularly the case Figures 2A , 2 B and the Figures 4A to 4C refer to.
  • the door frame points to 1 the reveal side 10 has a recess 14, the frame part 7 being inserted at least in sections into the recess 4 and thus also in sections into the cavity 13.
  • the frame part 1 is fastened via a first and a second frame part fastening section 15, 16, which rest directly on the reveal side 10 of the door frame 1 and are each fastened to the door frame 1 with several fasteners.
  • the fastening is carried out using two screw connections per frame part fastening section 15, 16.
  • the door leaf 2 has a fold which is formed on a fold section 17 of the hollow profile.
  • This folding section 17 fulfills two different tasks.
  • a first task is to cover the door gap 35 in the closed position.
  • the door frame 1 also has a rebate section 18, so that privacy is guaranteed from both sides of the door.
  • the fold sections 17, 18 also each have a groove 19, 20 into which a seal can be inserted, for example. B. a sealing strip can be used. In the closed position, this then lies against sections of the door frame 1 or the door leaf 2 and prevents air from flowing through the door gap 35. Since the door frame 1 and the door leaf 2 form a flat surface on one side of the building door when closed, the hollow profile of the door frame 1 has a bulge into which the folding section 17 engages in the closed position.
  • the Figures 2A and 2 B show the building door in a sectional view, with the Fig. 2A a cross section through the first joint bracket 4 and the Fig. 2B a cross section through the second joint bracket 5 shows. Since both the first wing part axis 11, which is assigned to the first joint bracket 4, and the second wing part axis 12, which is assigned to the second joint bow 5 and the third joint bow 6, should be arranged within the gap 35, it is necessary that the wing part axes 11, 12 are arranged in front of the fastening level 21.
  • the fastening level 21 is assigned to the wing part 8 and is defined over the surface of the wing part 8, which rests on the narrow side 9 of the door wing 2 in the assembled state.
  • the center points of the wing part axes 11, 12 define a connecting line 22, which according to Fig. 3 in the closed position runs parallel to the fastening plane 21 and therefore also parallel to the narrow side 9 of the door leaf 2. This ensures that the wing part 8 can be built as compactly as possible and can be arranged within the door gap 35.
  • the wing part 8 is only placed on the narrow side 9 of the door wing 2 and in the example shown according to Fig. 1 Fastened with a total of four screw connections.
  • the wing part 8 engages at least in sections in the frame part 7, so that overall a negative distance is formed between the frame part 7 and the wing part 8.
  • the first hinge bracket 4 has a width a 2 , the width describing the maximum extension along the second horizontal direction X of the first hinge wing 4.
  • the distance a 1 describes the portion of the width a 2 that is arranged in the second horizontal direction X behind a frame-side fastening plane 23.
  • the ratio a 1 to a 2 is 80%.
  • a corresponding ratio b 1 to b 2 can also be determined for the second joint bracket 5 or the third joint bracket 6, this being 75%.
  • the Figures 4A to 4C show the building door and in particular the door hinge 3 in different positions. Description

The invention relates to a building door with a door frame, a door wing and a door hinge, the door hinge having a frame part and a wing part, which are connected to one another via a first hinge bracket and a second hinge bracket, the door hinge having an opening angle of at least 135, starting from the closed position ° until a maximum opening position is reached and the joint brackets form a 4-axis joint arrangement, in which the first joint bracket is attached to the frame part so as to be rotatable about a first frame part axis and to the wing part so as to be rotatable about a first wing part axis and wherein the second joint bracket is attached to the frame part is rotatably attached about a second frame part axis and on the wing part rotatable about a second wing part axis and the two joint brackets are not directly connected to one another. In addition, the frame part has two side legs and at least one middle leg, the joint brackets being rotatably arranged in a joint bracket section between a side leg and a middle leg or between two middle legs.

Different belt constructions for different purposes are known from practice. The present invention specifically relates to a building door, whereby the door hinge must be able to absorb the weight and leverage forces exerted by a door leaf. A corresponding door leaf usually has an area of at least 1 m 2 and a weight of at least 10 kg. Building doors come e.g. E.g. front doors, apartment entrance doors or even room doors.

Against this background, the door hinge must on the one hand have sufficient stability, but on the other hand it must often be inconspicuous Appearance of the door hinge is required so that the building door, which is formed from a door wing, a door frame and usually at least two door hinges, fits well into a surrounding wall surface and has a high-quality appearance. For this purpose, the door hinge should usually be arranged concealed between the door leaf and the door frame, although various concepts have emerged in the past.

For example, this describes DE 101 64 979 B4 a concealed door hinge that is inserted into the narrow side of a door leaf and the reveal side of a door frame and is not visible when the door is closed. The two joint brackets are each rotatable at one of their ends about a vertical axis of rotation and are guided at their other end to be longitudinally displaceable and rotatable. Furthermore, the two joint brackets at the ends of connecting middle sections are connected to one another about a further vertical axis of rotation, so that overall there is a 5-axis joint arrangement in which two of the joint axes are additionally guided along slots.

The US 2,901,766 A describes a hinge, especially for vehicle doors, with a 4-axis joint arrangement, in which the hinge brackets are arranged in front of each other in order to enable a slim structure in the vertical direction. The hinge is formed as a sheet metal part and has a wing part for surface-mounted installation.

A generic building door with a 4-axis joint arrangement is, for example, from the DE 10 2017 100 270 known, in which in particular a door frame made of glass is attached to the wing part in a compact manner. For this purpose, a clamping device is provided into which the glass door is inserted and fixed using clamping means that exert pressure on the Exercising door leaf surface. This makes it possible to fix the door leaf without drilling holes in the glass door.

To carry out an opening or closing movement, a recess is also provided in a mirror section of the door frame, through which the clamping device is passed in sections during the opening or closing movement. Without this recess, a pivoting movement would be blocked, so that the door frame must be processed accordingly before the door hinge is installed. In addition, this door hinge was only suitable for use on glass doors. It is not possible to install classic wooden doors or doors made of aluminum profiles due to their thickness.

Also the US 2,570,479 describes a generic building door with a 4-axis kinematics, whereby the wing part and the frame part are inserted into corresponding recesses in the door frames and the door wing and then attached to them. These recesses are usually made in the form of milling, and these work steps are generally very time-consuming. However, it can be achieved that a door gap with a small gap is created between the door leaf and the door frame in a closed position, which can also be covered by a fold on the door leaf side.

Overall, however, the known door hinges for building doors can be improved.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a building door whose door hinge is compact and versatile can be used and on the other hand can be mounted in an easy way.

The solution to this problem and the subject of the present invention is a building door according to claim 1.

According to the invention, the wing part is attached to a narrow side of the door wing and the wing part axes are arranged in the closed position within the door gap between the door wing and the door frame.

By attaching the wing part to the narrow side of the door leaf, it can be achieved that in the closed position the wing part does not extend out of the door gap in a first horizontal direction, which extends perpendicular to the door leaf. Thus, in the closed position, all components of the wing part lie between a plane defined by the front and back of the door wing. The frame part is also preferably arranged in the closed position between these levels, so that the door hinge can be covered using simple means. A rebated door leaf, for example, is ideal for this purpose. Alternatively, a special privacy screen can be attached to the door leaf after installation.

The door frame can also have a fold. The door leaf then preferably moves away from this fold when it is opened. In the closed position, the door leaf can then rest on the door frame via the fold. If both the door leaf and the door frame each have a fold, a view of the door hinge in the closed position can be prevented from both sides of the building door.

Furthermore, it is essential to the invention that in the closed position the wing part axes are arranged within the door gap between the door wing and the door frame. The invention is a departure from known door hinges in which the wing part is inserted into a recess or cutout on the narrow side of the door wing, with the wing part axes also being arranged within the door wing. Such a design is not necessary due to the compact design of the door hinge, so that the door gap provided anyway is sufficient to accommodate the wing part axes, which are usually formed by rotatable bolt connections.

Preferably, not only the wing part axes are arranged within the door gap, but the entire wing part. This enables surface-mounted installation on the narrow side of the door leaf, with prior processing, e.g. B. in the form of millings, is not necessary. Rather, the wing part can be in a simple manner, e.g. B. can be attached to a flat narrow side of the door leaf by screwing without any prior processing steps.

The arrangement of the wing part axes or the entire arrangement of the wing part within the door gap is made possible not only by the compact design of the wing part, but also by the special design of the hinge brackets and the frame part. As a result, a large part of the hinge bracket is arranged in the closed position within the frame part and/or within the door frame, so that only a small proportion of the hinge bracket has to find space within the door gap. This is all the more important since the door gap preferably has a gap dimension of less than 15 mm, preferably less than 12 mm.

It has proven to be particularly advantageous if the door hinge is used in a building door whose door frame is designed as a hollow profile. Hollow profiles are usually made of aluminum and offer the advantage that they already have a hollow chamber for the use of the frame part. Such a door frame therefore only needs to be milled out on the reveal side wall, in which case the frame part can then be inserted and attached to the reveal side. The cavity then offers space for the hinged bracket in the closed position, so that if a suitable hollow profile is selected, a rear limitation of the door hinge, which would then also limit the pivoting movement of the hinged bracket, is not necessary.

In principle, it is also possible for the door leaf to be made from a hollow profile, e.g. B. is made of aluminum. Alternatively, other doors can also be used, e.g. B. classic wooden doors or wooden doors with a double layer can be used.

If the door leaf has a fold over which the door hinge is covered in the closed state, a groove extending in the vertical direction along the fold is preferably provided on the fold, into which a sealing tape is inserted, which is pressed against the door frame in the closed position. For this purpose, the door frame preferably has a recess running along the vertical direction, the depth of which is selected such that the door frame and the door leaf are arranged next to one another in alignment in the closed position and form a common planar plane.

The door hinge can therefore have a fastening level for surface mounting on the narrow side of the door leaf, which is formed on the frame part. The wing part axes are preferably arranged in front of the fastening level.

Here, the fastening level refers to the level via which the frame part can be attached to the narrow side of the door leaf or which rests on the narrow side of the door leaf in the assembled state. For this purpose, the fastening level usually has several holes into which fasteners can be inserted, for example. B. screws can be used, with the fasteners extending through the holes behind the fastening level. In this context, the rear side of the fastening level refers to the side facing the narrow side of the door leaf in the closed position and the front refers to the side facing the door frame. Even in the unassembled state, the mounting level as well as its front and rear sides are clearly defined, with the front facing the frame part in the closed position.

Such a design makes it possible to create a door hinge that can be used in a suitable manner as part of a mounted assembly.

Despite the attached assembly, it is of course also within the scope of the invention that sections of the wing part within a recess, for. B. are arranged in a cutout in the door leaf. Such a design can be useful, for example, if additional adjustment means are provided, but due to the compact design of the door hinge cannot be realized. Even with such a configuration, the wing part axes are still arranged in front of the fastening plane.

Advantageously, in the door hinge according to the invention, the frame part and/or the wing part can be formed from sheet metal. In contrast to the commonly used manufacturing processes, e.g. B. injection molding or machining processes, this makes simple and cost-effective production possible.

In a preferred development of the invention, a connecting line between the centers of the first and second wing part axes runs parallel to the fastening plane in the closed state. Since the fastening plane is usually placed on a narrow side of the door leaf that runs parallel to it, the connecting line between the centers of the first and second leaf part axes in an assembled state in the closed position runs not only parallel to the fastening plane but also to the narrow side of the door leaf. The center points of the first and second wing part axes therefore have no offset in a first horizontal direction, although in principle a slight offset is also possible. The angle enclosed by the connecting line and the fastening plane and/or the angle enclosed by the connecting line and the narrow side of the door leaf is then preferably less than 10°, preferably less than 5°. Due to this slight or non-existent offset, the frame part can be made correspondingly narrow in the direction of the gap, so that during assembly the arrangement within the door gap is possible even with small gap dimensions within the gap.

B. 1 mm.In the closed position, the distance between the sash part and the frame part in the gap direction is preferably less than 5 mm. It is also possible here that the wing part and the frame part overlap, with sections of the wing part then engaging in the frame part or sections of the frame part engaging in the wing part. The overlap is preferably between 0.1 and 3 mm, e.g. B. 1 mm.

In a further development of the invention, the frame part has at least one frame part fastening section, but preferably two frame part fastening sections, via which the frame part can be fastened to a reveal side of the door frame. The frame part fastening sections also each have a frame-side fastening level, which in an assembled state rests on the reveal side of the door frame. For fastening, holes are usually provided in the frame part fastening sections into which the fastening means z. B. screws can be used, so that screwing to the door frame is possible, for example.

In a preferred development of the invention, the first and/or the second hinge bracket in the closed state is arranged behind the frame-side fastening plane of the at least one frame fastening section to a proportion of at least 70% based on the width of the hinge bracket.

The width of the joint brackets corresponds to the maximum spatial extent of the joint brackets along a second horizontal direction, which extends perpendicular to the wing-side attachment plane. In the assembled state, the second horizontal direction usually corresponds to the gap direction, that is to say a direction perpendicular to the reveal side of the door frame.

In the closed position, at least 70% of the hinge bracket or brackets are arranged behind the frame-side fastening plane or therefore also in the assembled state within the door frame. The rear side of the fastening level therefore faces the reveal side of the door frame, while the front of the frame-side fastening level faces the wing-side fastening level or, in the assembled state, the narrow side of the door leaf.

A corresponding proportion of 70% represents a lower limit, although the proportion can, for example, be more than 80% or even more than 90%. Accordingly, the first and/or the second joint bracket is arranged in the closed position to a maximum proportion of 30%, preferably a maximum of 20%, particularly preferably a maximum of 10%, based on the width of the joint bracket, in front of the frame-side fastening plane of the at least one frame part fastening section. When the door hinge is mounted on a narrow side of the door leaf, this means that a maximum of 30%, preferably a maximum of 20%, particularly preferably a maximum of 10%, of the width of the hinge brackets are arranged within the door gap.

The wing part preferably has a plurality of bends arranged parallel to one another, with the first and/or the second hinge bracket being rotatably attached between two bends of the wing part. These bends can be created particularly easily by bending a wing part designed as a sheet metal part. For this purpose, the bends and also the joint brackets each have a hole, so that if the holes in the bends and in the respective joint bracket are aligned with one another, a rotatable connection can be created by using a stud bolt.

Since in the assembled state of the door hinge, the bends are preferably arranged completely within the door gap and extend along the gap direction, it is advantageous with a view to achieving the smallest possible gap if the bends of the wing part engage at least partially in the frame part in the closed position. In such a configuration, as already mentioned, there is a negative distance between the wing part and the frame part. The overlap between the wing and the frame part in the second horizontal direction is in a range of 0.1 to 10 mm, preferably in the range of 0.2 to 5 mm, particularly preferably in the range of 0.3 to 1 mm.

In the closed position, a connecting line between the centers of the first and second frame part axes and the connecting line between the centers of the first and second frame part axes preferably form an angle of 85° to 95°, e.g. B. 90°. The two connecting lines are therefore almost or exactly perpendicular to one another. This has the advantage, on the one hand, that the wing part axes can be brought as close as possible to the door leaf and, on the other hand, that the frame part axes can be brought close to a side part of the frame wall. In this way, particularly in the case of a frame made of a hollow profile, the available cavity can be used particularly advantageously, on the one hand the hinge brackets can be arranged to a large extent within the cavity and at the same time a large pivoting movement is possible. For this purpose, it has also proven to be advantageous if, in the closed position, the maximum width of the skeleton line of the first and/or the second joint bracket is larger than the distance between the wing part axis and the frame part axis running in the second horizontal direction. The skeleton line here refers to the connecting line of the circle centers inscribed in the respective joint bracket profile.

In a further development of the invention, the door hinge has a third hinge bracket, the first hinge bracket being arranged between the second and the third hinge bracket. The third joint bracket and the second joint bracket are preferably designed identically. In addition, all of the aforementioned features regarding the first or second joint bracket also apply to the third joint bracket. In particular, the third hinge bracket has a third wing part axis and a third frame part axis, the third wing part axis being arranged in front of the fastening plane or in the assembled state within the door gap in the closed position. Since the second and third joint brackets are designed identically, the second and third wing part axes as well as the second and third frame part axes coincide, so that a 4-axis joint arrangement is still formed.

According to the invention, the frame part has a first and a second side leg as well as a first and a second frame part fastening section, the frame part fastening sections connecting to a corresponding side leg. The frame part fastening section can be formed on a first fastening part which is fastened to the first side leg. The second frame part fastening section is then formed on a second fastening part and this in turn is fastened to the second side leg.

In such a configuration, the side legs preferably have an angle through which the side legs engage in a recess in the corresponding fastening part. Furthermore, the respective bend and also the fastening section can each have a hole that is aligned with one another, so that the fastening part can be clamped to the side legs using a screw connection.

In an alternative embodiment, it is also possible for the frame part to be designed in one piece, with a one-piece design being understood as an integral design in the sense of the invention. All components of the frame part, in particular the side legs and the frame part fastening sections, can be formed from just one workpiece. It is also useful if bends are provided on the side legs, in which case the frame part fastening sections are formed directly on the bends.

A one-piece design is also expedient for the wing part, with the invention also comprising wing parts that are designed in several parts.

In addition to the two side legs, the frame part also has at least one middle section, wherein in an embodiment having two joint brackets, the first joint bracket is rotatably arranged between a first side leg and the middle leg and the second joint bracket is rotatably arranged between the middle leg and the second side leg. However, the invention is not limited to just one middle leg. In particular, in an embodiment having three joint brackets, a second middle leg is provided, with the first joint bow then being arranged between the two middle legs.

Both the side and the middle legs are connected to one another at least via a crossbar and thereby form an integrally formed section of the frame part, whereby the fastening parts can be releasably attached to it. Furthermore, the legs can also be connected to a rear connecting leg, which then delimits the frame part in the assembled state in the direction of the door frame. Is preferred However, such a rear boundary in the form of a connecting leg is not provided for at least two legs arranged next to one another. This is particularly useful for a door frame made from a hollow profile, since the hinge bracket arranged in between can be used, for example. B. the first and / or the second joint bracket can then enter freely into the cavity and fully utilize it, while at the same time the frame part continues to be designed to be compact. In an embodiment having three joint brackets, no rear boundary is preferably provided between the middle legs.

The Fig. 1 shows a section of a building door with a door frame 1, a door leaf 2 and a door hinge 3. The door leaf 2 is usually over at least two of the in Fig. 1 shown door hinges 3 supported on the door frame, whereby the Fig. 1 one of these two identically designed door hinges 3 shows.

Already from the Fig. 1 , but especially from those in the Fig. 2A and Fig. 2B Sectional views shown, it can be seen that the door hinge 3 has a 4-axis joint arrangement. Specifically, the door hinge 3 has a first hinge bracket 4, which is arranged in a vertical direction Z between a second hinge bracket 5 and a third hinge bracket 6.

The second joint bracket 5 and the third joint bracket 6 are of the same design and are also rotatably connected to the frame part 7 and to a wing part 8 in the same way. With regard to the movement of the door hinge 3, the second hinge bracket 5 and the third hinge bracket 6 behave in the same way. In principle, within the scope of the invention, an embodiment with only a first joint bracket 4 and a second joint bracket 5 is sufficient. The arrangement of the second joint bracket 5 and the third joint bracket 6, which is symmetrical with respect to a central plane, is intended for reasons of uniform force distribution and is purely exemplary.

Already from the Fig. 1 , but especially from the Figures 4A to 4C , it can be seen that the door hinge 3 has an opening angle of 180 ° starting from a closed position until it reaches a maximum opening position.

The exact arrangement of the frame part 7, the wing part 8 and the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 in a closed position of the building door is the Figures 2A and 2 B refer to. Accordingly, the wing part 8 is attached to a narrow side 9 of the door leaf 2 and the frame part to the reveal side 10 of the door frame 1. The door frame 1 and the door leaf 2 are also spaced apart from one another via a door gap 35, the door gap 35 being the distance between the narrow side 9 of the door leaf 2 and the reveal side 10 of the door frame 1 describes. This door gap 35 is particularly clear in the reduced representation of the Fig. 3 to recognize. It is also clear here that the first partial wing axis 11 and the second partial wing axis 12 are arranged within the door gap 35 between the door leaf 2 and the door frame 1. In the examples shown, however, not only the wing part axes 11, 12 are arranged within the door gap 35, but rather the entire wing part 8, with fastening means for fastening the wing part 8 to the door leaf 2 not being included in the frame part 8.

The gap size S of the gap 35 is 12 mm, with the frame part 8 extending over a width of 10 mm within the gap 35.

Im vorliegenden Beispiel erfolgt die Befestigung anhand von jeweils zwei Verschraubungen pro Zargenteilbefestigungsabschnitt 15, 16.The Figures 1 to 4 It can also be seen that both the door frame 1 and the door leaf 2 are formed from a hollow profile. Such hollow profiles are usually made of aluminum, since on the one hand they can be processed and processed in a simple manner and on the other hand they have a sufficiently high level of stability. In principle, the building door can also be made from a hollow profile without a door frame 1 and a door leaf, such a design making sense at least for the door frame 1, since the cavity 13 formed by the hollow profile on the frame side is suitable for both the frame part 7 and in sections to a predominant extent to accommodate the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 in the closed state. This is particularly the case Figures 2A , 2 B and the Figures 4A to 4C refer to. Accordingly, the door frame points to 1 the reveal side 10 has a recess 14, the frame part 7 being inserted at least in sections into the recess 4 and thus also in sections into the cavity 13. The frame part 1 is fastened via a first and a second frame part fastening section 15, 16, which rest directly on the reveal side 10 of the door frame 1 and are each fastened to the door frame 1 with several fasteners. In the present example, the fastening is carried out using two screw connections per frame part fastening section 15, 16.

The door leaf 2 has a fold which is formed on a fold section 17 of the hollow profile. This folding section 17 fulfills two different tasks. A first task is to cover the door gap 35 in the closed position. As a result, not only the door gap 35, but also the wing part 8 or sections of the frame part 7 and the hinge bracket 4, 5, 6 are no longer visible from the outside in the closed position. For this reason, in the present example, the door frame 1 also has a rebate section 18, so that privacy is guaranteed from both sides of the door.

In addition to the privacy screen, the fold sections 17, 18 also each have a groove 19, 20 into which a seal can be inserted, for example. B. a sealing strip can be used.

Since the design of the door hinge 3 is of crucial importance for such a building door, the construction of the door hinge 3 will be explained in more detail below.

The Figures 2A and 2 B show the building door in a sectional view, with the Fig. The fastening level 21 is assigned to the wing part 8 and is defined over the surface of the wing part 8, which rests on the narrow side 9 of the door wing 2 in the assembled state.

In addition, the center points of the wing part axes 11, 12 define a connecting line 22, which according to Fig. 3 in the closed position runs parallel to the fastening plane 21 and therefore also parallel to the narrow side 9 of the door leaf 2. This ensures that the wing part 8 can be built as compactly as possible and can be arranged within the door gap 35. The wing part 8 is only placed on the narrow side 9 of the door wing 2 and in the example shown according to Fig. 1 Fastened with a total of four screw connections.

Like this in particular Fig. 4A but also that Fig. 2B As can be seen, the wing part 8 engages at least in sections in the frame part 7, so that overall a negative distance is formed between the frame part 7 and the wing part 8.

Since the frame part 8 is also arranged completely within the door gap 35, a large part of the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 must be arranged within the frame part 7 or within the frame-side cavity 13 in the closed position. For this purpose, the first hinge bracket 4 has a width a 2 , the width describing the maximum extension along the second horizontal direction X of the first hinge wing 4. The distance a 1, on the other hand, describes the portion of the width a 2 that is arranged in the second horizontal direction X behind a frame-side fastening plane 23. In the example shown, the ratio a 1 to a 2 is 80%.

A corresponding ratio b 1 to b 2 can also be determined for the second joint bracket 5 or the third joint bracket 6, this being 75%.

The Figures 4A to 4C show the building door and in particular the door hinge 3 in different positions. According to the Fig. 4A the building door is completely closed while the Fig. 4C shows a fully opened building door, with the opening angle being 180°. According to the Fig. 4B the building door is open at an angle of 90°.

The Figures 4A to 4C It can also be seen how the connecting line 22 between the wing part axes 11, 12 and the connecting line 24 between the frame part axes 25, 26 behave to one another in different positions. Both in the closed position ( Fig. 4A ) as well as in a fully open position ( Fig. 4C ), the connecting lines 22, 24 are perpendicular to one another, with the intersection between the connecting lines 22, 24 running through the second wing part axis 12 in the closed position. In a fully open position, the intersection moves in the direction of the frame part axes 25, 26 and lies just in front of the second frame part axis 26. In an open position At 90°, the connecting lines 22, 24 are parallel to one another and therefore do not intersect.

The structure of the door hinge 3 can be seen in the exploded view Fig. 5 be taken more precisely. In the Fig. 5 the wing part 8, the frame part 7 and the joint bracket arrangement including the joint brackets 4, 5, 6 are shown separately from one another. The joint brackets 4, 5, 6 therefore have a thickening at their ends, each with a hole, via which the joint brackets 4, 5, 6 can be rotatably connected to the frame part 7 and the wing part 8 by means of several stud bolts 27. For this purpose, the wing part 8 has several bends 28 with holes. Specifically, the two outer bends each have one hole and the two middle bends 28 each have two bores, so that the joint brackets 4, 5, 6 can be arranged between the individual bends 28 and rotatably connected by means of the stud bolts 27.

Diese Bohrungen dienen der drehbaren Befestigung der Gelenkbügel 4, 5, 6 mittels Stehbolzen 27.For the attachment of the joint brackets 4, 5, 6 on the frame part side, the frame part 7 has two side legs 29 and two middle legs 30, with one hole being provided in the side legs 29 and two holes being provided in the middle legs 30. These holes serve to rotatably fasten the joint brackets 4, 5, 6 using stud bolts 27.

In order to be able to give the frame part 7 a higher degree of stability, the side webs 29 and the middle webs 30 are connected by means of a cross web 31. In addition, there are two connecting webs 32, with a first connecting web 32 connecting a first side leg 29 to a first middle leg 30 and a second connecting web 32 connecting a second side leg 29 to a second middle leg 30. The Middle legs 30 are not connected to one another via a connecting web 32, so that the frame part 7 is not limited at the back in the area between the middle legs 30. This section serves to accommodate the first joint bracket 4, which is thus arranged between the middle legs 30. Due to the lack of rear limitation, the first hinge bracket 4 can immerse deeply into the frame-side cavity 13 and optimally utilize the available frame-side cavity 13.

In order to be able to attach the door hinge 3 to the door frame 1, the frame part 7 has a first and a second frame part fastening section 15, 16, the first frame part fastening section 15 being formed on a first fastening part 33 and the second frame part fastening section 16 being formed on a second fastening part 34. The fastening parts 33, 34 are in turn attached to the side legs 29. For this purpose, the side legs 29 have an angle, each of which engages in a recess in the fastening parts 33, 34. The fastening parts 33, 34 are then connected to the side legs 29 by means of a screw connection.

The Fig. 6 shows an alternative design of the frame part 7, which is compared to that in the Figures 1 to 5 Frame part 7 shown is made in one piece. The frame part 7 in turn has two frame part fastening sections 15, 16, which are now not formed on separate components but directly on the one-piece wing part 7. For this purpose, the side legs 29 again have an angle, with the frame part fastening sections 15, 16 being formed at this angle. To attach the frame part 7, a hole is provided at each bend, so that the frame part 7 can be attached to a door frame with the help of fasteners.
