Problematisch ist jedoch die Abdichtung zwischen dem Blechprofil und der Mauerwerksöffnung, in welche die Stahlzarge eingesetzt wird. Diese Abdichtung ist insbesondere im Brandfall von herausragender Bedeutung, damit ein sicherer Brandabschluss gewährleistet werden kann.
