Description
The invention relates to methods for cleaning floors according to the preamble of
Today's scrubber-driers are used for wet cleaning of hard floors. The machines have one or more scouring brushes or cleaning elements made of a foam-like material (cleaning pads), which scrub with the addition of water, or a water / detergent mixture adhering dirt on the ground. During the movement of the machine over the dirt, the soiled by the brushes and dissolved by water or a mixture of water / detergent contaminants are sucked up with a arranged in the direction of movement behind the brush squeegee. Scrubber dryness is a cleaning method to remove soil soiling. However, loose debris such as dust, paper, wood particles, or hair, etc. may get under the brushes or cleaning pads, thereby further contaminating the brushes or cleaning pads and adjacent machine parts (such as housings). Often then not all of these loose contaminants can be absorbed with the suction during the scrubber so that a part of it remains lying on the floor and thus a lower cleaning quality is achieved. In order to increase the quality of cleaning, the floor is usually dust-binding wiped with a disposable cloth (wet wipe, Masslinn) or dry mop, swept with a broom, vacuumed with a vacuum cleaner or picked up the loose dirt with a sweeper before scrubbing. This means that two separate cleaning processes have to be carried out in succession in order to achieve optimum cleaning quality and hygiene, which leads to increased time expenditure and additional costs.
Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. The invention aims to remedy this situation. The invention has for its object to provide a method for cleaning floors and a floor cleaning machine, which prevents contamination of the cleaning device, in particular a scrubbing device by large amounts of local loose dirt.
The invention achieves the stated object with a method for cleaning floors, which has the features of
- durch das kombinierte Wischen und Absaugen mittels der Vorreinigungsvorrichtung auch leicht am Boden haftende Partikel, Staub, Papier oder Haare bereits vor der Reinigungsvorrichtung, z.B. einer Scheuervorrichtung vom Boden abgesaugt werden, so dass die Bürsten oder Reinigungspads der Reinigungsvorrichtung weniger verschmutzt werden;
- by the combined wiping and suction by means of the precleaner also easily adhering to the ground particles, dust, paper or hair already before the cleaning device, such as a scrubber be sucked from the ground, so that the brushes or cleaning pads of the cleaning device are less polluted;
- due to the achievable by the rear wiper lip of the front squeegee "storage effect" the loose soils are not absorbed directly have to. This is especially true for a large amount of local loose soils. The rear wiper lip pushes the loose dirt in front of them until they are finally sucked by the vacuum in the suction channel of the front squeegee. The loose soils may initially accumulate in the area of the rear wiper lip of the front squeegee; and
- compared to pure scrubber a significantly better cleaning quality can be achieved.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention can be commented on as follows:
In a special embodiment of the method, under step A), the wiping of a floor is carried out by means of two wiper lips arranged at a distance from one another on the floor cleaning machine. These embodiments are particularly suitable for absorbing coarse contaminants, such as metal chips, wood residues, coarse paper remnants, broken glass or organic residues from kitchen areas.
In another embodiment, the two wiper lips are disposed on a squeegee and adjacent to a suction channel disposed in the suction channel adjacent a rear and a front wiper lip.
Preferably, in the operation of the floor cleaning machine, the scraper device and the rear scraper lip of the squeegee define a virtual plane, the front scraper lip being spaced from the virtual plane by a height h in a vertical direction, or the virtual plane in a transversal direction (B) perpendicular to the advancing direction (A) ) considered only partially touched.
In a specific embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the front squeegee additionally comprises a front wiper lip, wherein the scrubber, the rear squeegee and the rear squeegee of the front squeegee define a virtual plane during operation of the floor cleaning machine and the front wiper lip in a vertical direction from the virtual plane Height h is spaced or the virtual plane in a direction of forward movement (A) vertical Transverse direction considered only partially touched. Thus, the advantages are achievable that the vacuum in the suction channel of the front squeegee can be amplified and the front wiper lip in large amounts of local loose dirt this pushes before them until they are sucked by the vacuum in the suction channel of the front squeegee. The achievable already by the rear wiper lip of the front squeegee "storage effect" is thus enhanced, so that the loose dirt must not be absorbed directly. Furthermore, easily adhering to the ground dirt can be loosened by the front wiper lip and thus already sucked by the pre-cleaning device from the ground.
In einer anderen Ausführungsform der Bodenreinigungsmaschine beträgt die Höhe h mindestens 1 mm, vorzugsweise mindestens 0,5 mm.In another embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the height h is at least 1 mm, preferably at least 0.5 mm.
Als typischer Wert für die Höhe h gilt 1 mm.In a further embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the height h is at most 12 mm, preferably at most 10 mm. The typical value for height h is 1 mm.
In yet another embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the front wiper lip in the transverse direction B comprises a plurality of contiguous or spaced recesses. Large or close depressions are suitable for absorbing coarse soils, e.g. Metal chips, wood residues from production environments, coarse paper scraps, broken glass, organic residues from kitchen areas. Wells, which form smaller openings, allow a greater vacuum in the suction channel of the front suction bar. This is particularly suitable for high cleaning requirements, e.g. in hospitals.
In another embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the front squeegee is connected by means of a fourth pipe or hose via a branch pipe with the second pipe or hose and via this with the vacuum pump. This provides the advantage that only one vacuum pump is needed to operate the machine.
In another embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the scrubbing device comprises a housing, wherein the rear and front squeegee are integrated into the housing or releasably secured to the housing.
In yet another embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the rear squeegee is secured to the floor cleaning machine, preferably on the housing, by means of an elastic connecting device so as to allow movement of the rear squeegee in the transverse direction B relative to the scrubbing device against a resistance provided by the resilient connection device.
In a further embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the scrubbing device comprises at least one rotatable brush or a cleaning element made of a foam-like material.
In einer weiteren Ausführungsform der Bodenreinigungsmaschine beträgt der Saugluftvolumenstrom im Saugkanal der vorderen Saugleiste mindestens 1 l/s, vorzugsweise mindestens 3 l/s.In a further embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the suction air volume flow in the suction channel of the front squeegee is at least 1 l / s, preferably at least 3 l / s.
In einer anderen Ausführungsform der Bodenreinigungsmaschine beträgt der Saugluftvolumenstrom im Saugkanal der vorderen Saugleiste höchstens 50 l/s, vorzugsweise höchstens 20 l/s.In another embodiment of the floor cleaning machine, the suction air volume flow in the suction channel of the front squeegee is at most 50 l / s, preferably at most 20 l / s.
The invention and further developments of the invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the partially schematic representations of an embodiment.
