Definitions
- the present invention relates to a heating installation comprising a wood heater (type stove or insert), intended to be positioned near a wall of a building wall (wall or partition). It relates more specifically to heating installations, the heating apparatus of which includes a conduit for the evacuation of combustion products, a system of combustion air supply ducts and a plate for protecting the wall wall in the vicinity (still commonly called "Wall protection plate").
- Woodburning heaters have a fireplace chamber. An upper portion of this fireplace has an upper port for the discharge of combustion products via a connecting conduit extending to a building outlet.
- wood heaters generally have an air supply (called “combustion air”), advantageously coming from outside the building.
- combustion air air supply
- the heating installation generally comprises a system of combustion air supply ducts which connect, on an upstream side, an inlet of combustion air, to take outside the combustion air and, d a downstream side, a lower orifice formed at a lower part of the hearth.
- the combustion air inlet may be provided at a wall penetration device which is located near the wood burning appliance.
- the combustion air can also be taken at the building exit associated with the flue gas duct.
- the system of combustion air supply ducts then comprises, on the one hand, an annular chamber delimited by a peripheral duct formed around this flue gas discharge duct and, on the other hand, a vertical intermediate duct located at the back of the heater.
- this intermediate vertical pipe is not very aesthetic; it is bulky and moves the heater away from the nearby back wall; in addition, there is a risk of accidental release of the intermediate vertical pipe for example during household operations (sweep or vacuum cleaner).
- these wall protection plates intended to form thermal screens: these wall protection plates are located between the heating device and the facing wall wall (generally in contact with this wall wall). , to ensure protection of the latter against the thermal radiation emitted by the heater and the associated ducts.
- the known wall protection plates are generally composed of a thickness of insulating material (s), associated with a front end plate (for example a painted sheet metal plate and / or cut with a decoration).
- insulating material often consists of a fire-resistant rigid wall, for example made of calcium silicate, ensuring good mechanical strength and good durability over time.
- the present invention aims to provide a heating installation to overcome these disadvantages.
- the wall protection plate allows optimal integration of the combustion air supply duct system, and in particular of its intermediate vertical duct: the latter is hidden by the wall protection plate.
- the aesthetics and the integration of the heating system are thus improved, in particular as regards the distance between the heater and the wall of affiliation.
- the vertical riser is vented when the heater is operating; and the system of combustion air supply ducts therefore participates in cooling the wall protection plate. It is thus possible to dispense with the insulating material which is traditionally present in the wall protection plates of the prior art.
- the wall plate provides protection of said wall with respect to the radiation emitted by the heater; if the wall plate is extended from floor to floor ceiling of the room where the heater is installed, it also allows a protection of the wall against the radiation emitted by the flue.
- Such a heating installation also makes it possible to limit the accidental dislodgements of the combustion air supply duct system situated at the rear of the heating appliance (this supply duct system being protected by the wall protection plate). .
- the heating installation 1 is intended to equip a building, for example a house (not shown).
- This heating installation 1 comprises a wood-burning appliance 2, for example of wood-burning stove type or insert, which is intended to be installed in front of a wall wall M of the building, also called “back wall wall” (shown schematically on the figure 7 ).
- a wood-burning appliance 2 for example of wood-burning stove type or insert, which is intended to be installed in front of a wall wall M of the building, also called “back wall wall” (shown schematically on the figure 7 ).
- the exhaust duct 6 is here intended to pass through a roof (not shown) to lead to the building exit 5; it also passes, optionally, one or more intermediate floors (not shown).
- This exhaust duct 6 is preferably thermally insulated. It can be made of two tubes (eg stainless steel) between which is provided an insulation material.
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 is intended to be covered by a wall protection plate 10 described in more detail below, which is attached between this vertical vertical duct 91 and the heating apparatus 2.
- the plate wall protection 10 is therefore distinct from the walls which constitute the intermediate vertical duct 91.
- the vertical intermediate pipe 91 here has a parallelepipedal general shape. Alternatively, this vertical intermediate pipe 91 could have any other shape, for example cylindrical.
- This vertical vertical pipe 91 is thus in the form of a parallelepipedic box which is made by an assembly of sheets (for example stainless steel sheets).
- the rear walls 911 and 912 before have an identical shape, here rectangular; they extend parallel to each other.
- the side walls 913 and horizontal 914 form a rectangular frame of constant thickness.
- the thickness of the intermediate vertical pipe 91 is less than the thickness of the wall protection plate 10 described below.
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 advantageously comprises means 916 for fixing it to the wall-mounting wall M.
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 has side tabs 916, on the side of its rear wall 911, which are adapted to be fixed by appropriate means with the wall-mounting wall M (for example by means of screws and dowels or by gluing).
- the lateral lugs 916 may protrude with respect to the rear wall 911, so as to move it away from the wall-mounting wall M.
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 advantageously further comprises means for the spacing adjustment of its through openings 9121, 9122.
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 comprises two duct elements 917 which each comprise one of the through openings 9121, 9122 ( Figures 8 to 11 ).
- Each of these duct elements 917 has a generally parallelepipedal shape and is formed of two plates of associated sheets, suitably cut and folded.
- Each duct member 917 has panels that are intended to form the walls of the intermediate vertical duct 91: a rear panel 9171, a front panel 9172, two side panels 9173 and a horizontal panel 9174.
- the rear panels 9171, 9172 front and 9173 side define a free border 9175 defining an opening.
- the free edge 9175 of one of the conduit elements 917 (male) is equipped with an O-ring 918 which is intended to seal with the other conduit element 917 (female).
- the play in spacing between the two through holes 9121, 9122 is between 80 and 160 cm.
- connecting ducts 92, 94 are obtained by an assembly of tubular cylindrical sections, made for example of stainless steel.
- the peripheral annular chamber C extends along a vertical axis, from its upper end located at the building outlet 5, to its lower end located just above the heater 2.
- the peripheral tube portion 921 may be constituted by a single stainless steel tube. This part of the peripheral tube 921, in which the evacuation duct 6 is housed, forms a triple-wall duct, described for example in the document FR-2 976 050 supra.
- the junction tube portion 922 extends just above the heater 2.
- This junction tube portion 922 has two ends which are connected with, on one side, the lower opening 9211 of the peripheral annular chamber C and, on the other hand, the upper through opening 9122 of the duct vertical insert 91.
- the lower connection duct 94 has two ends which are connected with, on one side, the lower through-hole 9121 of the vertical intermediate duct 91 and, on the other hand, the lower orifice 7 of the hearth 3.
- This lower connection duct 94 may be provided at a distance from the ground, especially at a height adapted to facilitate the passage of a broom or vacuum cleaner.
- the joining tube portion 922 of the upper connecting conduit 92 and the horizontal tube portion 942 of the lower connecting conduit 94 preferably extend horizontally, or at least approximately horizontally.
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 comprises air deflector means 919 which are arranged opposite its through openings 9121, 9122, to promote the circulation of air between them. last.
- deflector means 919 are here in the form of folded metal pieces, generally V-shaped, attached between the rear walls 911 and 912 before the vertical intermediate duct 91.
- These metal parts comprise in particular a front face 9191 which is arranged facing one of the opening openings 9121, 9122 and which is inclined to face the other metal part "deflector", equipping the other orifice, to ensure the desired air flow.
- the heating installation 1 further comprises the wall protection plate 10, attached between the heater 2 and the vertical vertical duct 91, so as to protect and hide the latter, while ensuring the protection of the wall of the wall. backing M with respect to the thermal radiation coming from the heater 2 and possibly from the exhaust duct 6.
- the wall protection plate 10 is advantageously made of a metallic material, for example steel; and its thickness is between 0.6 and 1 mm.
- These through orifices 11, 12 each have a generally oblong shape, the major axis is oriented vertically.
- This embodiment has the advantage of allowing a clearance of adjustment of the height of the wall protection plate 10 and the connection ducts 92, 94, but also a gap adjustment clearance between these connection ducts 92, 94.
- the connecting ducts 92, 94 have a diameter of 80 mm; the through orifices 11, 12 have a width of 85 mm and a height of 20 to 30 cm.
- the rectangular panel 101 also comprises a set of through-lights 1013 which are distributed over at least part of its height.
- These lights 1013 intended to remain free, act as ventilation holes and also customizable decoration.
- This wall protection plate 10 and in particular this rectangular panel 101, has dimensions adapted to provide optimal protection of the wall wall M, while ensuring optimum masking of the vertical duct 91.
- the rectangular panel 101 has a width and height which are greater than those of the heater 2 and those of the vertical intermediate duct 91.
- This rectangular panel 101 may possibly extend over the entire height of wall wall M , from the floor to the ceiling of the room in which the heater 2 is installed.
- the wall protection plate 10 thus has a width which is advantageously between 80 and 150 cm, and a height of between 100 and 250 cm.
- This wall protection plate 10 further comprises means for its attachment to the wall wall M.
- the rectangular panel 101 is delimited by two side edges 1015 (vertical) which are each connected to a rearward return 102, here at the square.
- Each of these rearward returns 102 is itself extended by a longitudinal lip 103, facing inwards, in which there are formed through orifices 1031 for receiving any suitable system for fixing the wall wall M (for example screw and dowel systems or more generally any means of attachment by hardware) ( Figures 5 and 6 ).
- any suitable system for fixing the wall wall M for example screw and dowel systems or more generally any means of attachment by hardware
- the rear returns 102 comprise, at their lower ends, a hook 1021 (or notch) for receiving the profile of a plinth placed on the wall wall M ( figures 2 and 4 ).
- This feature allows to consider the support of the lower edge of the wall plate 10 against the ground.
- the thickness of the wall protection plate 10 (corresponding to the width of its rear returns 102) is advantageously greater than or equal to that of the vertical intermediate duct 91.
- This dimensional feature allows attachment of the wall plate 10 to the wall wall M , while preserving a space between the rectangular panel 101 and the vertical duct 91.
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 is fixed against the wall wall M , at the area intended to come opposite the heater 2.
- the two duct elements 917 are manipulated in translation relative to each other, so as to adjust the spacing between the through holes 9121, 9122 of the vertical intermediate duct 91.
- the wall protection plate 10 is then also fixed to the wall wall M, suitably attached so as to cover this vertical vertical pipe 91.
- the through holes 11, 12 of this wall protection plate 10 are arranged facing the through holes 9121, 9122 of the vertical intermediate pipe 91.
- the oblong shape of the through holes 11, 12 of the wall protection plate 10 contribute to facilitate its positioning.
- the heating apparatus 2 and the evacuation duct 6 can then be put into place and connected with the vertical intermediate duct 91 through the lower connection ducts 94 and 92.
- the lower hole 7 of the hearth 3 of the heater 2 is supplied with combustion air from outside the building equipped.
- the combustion air is thus intended to progress successively within the upper connecting duct 92, the vertical intercalary duct 91 and the lower connecting duct 94.
- the wall protection plate 10 is cooled by the combustion air traveling in the vertical vertical pipe 91, coming from outside the building.
- This phenomenon promotes the dissipation of calories, and provides effective protection of the wall wall M.
- the vertical intermediate pipe 91 may be configured so that the combustion air is directly collected through the wall wall M.
- the upper outlet opening 9122 is then located at the rear wall 911 of the intermediate vertical duct 91.
- the upper connecting duct extends from this rear wall 911, so as to cross this wall wall M and to emerge on the outer face of the latter equipped with the air inlet 8.
- the wall protection plate 10 and the vertical intermediate duct 91 being independent, they can have a variety of shapes.
- the protection plate 10 may take any other peripheral shape and may include any desired decoration.
- It can also include any dimensions adapted in width, height and / or thickness, in particular depending on the type of heating device. equip and the implantation site.
- the heating installation can be implanted along a wall wall M flat but also facing a wall wall dihedral (corresponding to the angle formed by the two walls of a room).
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 extends along the edge of the two walls.
- the wall protection plate 10 is intended to extend between the two walls of the wall wall M.
- the vertical intermediate pipe 91 may then have a greater thickness and may, for example, be of circular or oval section.
- the intermediate vertical duct 91 can be divided into several distinct tubes (for example two in number), advantageously extending vertically and parallel to each other.
- Each manifold thus comprises a duct section comprising, on one side, an opening connected to one of the connecting ducts 92, 94 and, on the other side, several openings each connected to the end of one of the ducts. separate tubes.
- collectors are intended to be arranged between the wall wall M and the wall plate 10.
- This variant embodiment has the advantage, by dividing the air flow (for example by two), to reduce the space requirement of intercalary vertical duct 91.
