Claims (12)

  1. Refrigeration appliance with a storage area (3) which is delimited by a body (1) and a door (2), wherein the storage area (3) is subdivided by a shelf (4) into an upper and a lower compartment (5, 6), in which a drawer (9) is accommodated, wherein in a stop position of the drawer (9) in which it is pushed into the lower compartment (6), a front wall (11) of the drawer (9) bears against a front edge of the shelf (4), such that the shelf (4) has a passage (21), and a closure element can be moved between a position blocking the passage (21) and a position opening the passage (21) over at least part (33) of its cross-section, characterised in that attachment wall elements (15) are detachably mounted on side walls (12) of the drawer (9), in order to prevent an exchange of air with the interior of the drawer (9) by way of gaps between the shelf and the upper edges of the side walls of the drawer, or side wall elements (46) suspended from the shelf (4) seal side walls (12) of the drawer (9) in the pushed-in stop position, in order to prevent an exchange of air with the interior of the drawer by way of gaps between the shelf and the upper edges of the side walls of the drawer.
  2. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the opening (21) is arranged adjacent to the front edge of the shelf (4).
  3. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the shelf (4) comprises a frame (17) and a plate (16) bounded by the frame (17) and that the opening (21) is recessed from the frame (17).
  4. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterised in that the closure element is a slide (22) which is movable in the plane of the opening (21).
  5. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 3 and claim 4, characterised in that the slide (22) is composed of two elements (24, 25), one of which in each case forms an upper side wall and the other a lower side wall of a groove (28), into which the plate (16) or a web (31, 32) of the frame (17) engages.
  6. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 5, characterised in that a web (31) of the frame (17) opposite an edge of the plate (16) is provided with openings (33) which form the part of the cross-section of the passage (21) which is exposed in the open position.
  7. Refrigeration appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the side wall elements (46) are connected to one another via a rear wall element (47).
  8. Refrigeration appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that upper edges (14) of the side walls (12) of the drawer form sealing surfaces which in the pushed-in stop position bear on the suspended side wall elements (46).
  9. Refrigeration appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the side wall elements (46) are suspended from the shelf (4) with vertical play.
  10. Refrigeration appliance as claimed in claim 9, characterised in that the side wall elements (46) have a flange (50) facing the shelf (4) on an upper edge.
  11. Refrigeration appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the drawer (9) has an elevated base plate (36).
  12. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 11, characterised in that locally deepest points (39) of the base plate (36) are adjacent to the walls (11, 12, 13) of the drawer (9).
