Definitions
- the invention relates to a profiled rail system for covering at least one lining edge, consisting of at least one base profile rail and at least one cover profile rail.
- a profiled rail system which consists of three rails, namely a fixable to the ground base rail, a covering edge with a covering leg cross deck profile rail and a two connecting retaining rail.
- the cover profile rail is fixed in the retaining profile rail.
- the retaining rail is movable relative to the base rail. This allows the cover profile rail to be individually adapted to the particular needs of the individual covering.
- GB 2504305 A From the GB 2504305 A is a generic profile rail system known. It has a base rail and a cover profile rail, between which a retaining rail is provided. This retaining rail has an elastic central portion which serves as a predetermined bending point. In this way, the cover profile rail can be pivoted relative to the base profile rail. The retaining rail is inserted into tooth profiles of the base rail and the cover rail and held in this way.
- the invention has for its object to provide a profile rail system of the type mentioned, which is characterized by a simple installation and increased reliability.
- An inventive profile rail system serves to cover at least one lining edge.
- the number of lining edges is basically irrelevant. In the case of only one lining edge results for the profile rail system, the function of an edge termination. If several covering edges are covered, then the profile rail system fulfills the purpose of the expansion joint cover or the cover of Covering transitions.
- the profiled rail system has at least one base profile rail and at least one cover profile rail, which are connected to each other by means of at least one retaining rail.
- the at least one base rail is firmly connected to a substrate, for example, glued or screwed. To reduce the sound transmission and at least one sound-damping material may be provided therebetween.
- the at least one base profile rail could also engage under a covering in order to fix itself on the covering in this way.
- the at least one cover profile rail has at least one cover leg which covers the at least one covering edge. In the case of an edge termination, a cover leg is sufficient. However, at least two of the cover legs are usually provided to cover expansion joints and lining transitions.
- the at least one cover profile rail can be fixed to the at least one retaining profile rail. The type of determination plays only a minor role. In particular, it is intended to screw or a snap-in connection in order to additionally achieve a height adjustment between the at least one cover profile rail and the at least one retaining profile rail. In simple embodiments, in particular in which this height adjustment is unnecessary, the at least one cover profile rail can also be clipped, glued or integrally connected to the at least one retaining profile rail.
- the at least one base profile rail has holding means for detecting the at least one retaining profile rail, which are realized in the simplest case by at least one bond. In this way, the desired firm connection between the two rails results. This should preferably be able to withstand tensile forces in order to achieve a prestressing contact pressure of the at least one cover leg on at least one lining edge.
- an elastic body provided to simplify the mounting of the profiled rail system. This holds in a relaxed position, the at least one retaining rail in a defined position. This defined position is preferably designed such that the at least one cover leg is aligned substantially parallel to the covering.
- a tilting of the at least one cover rail is then still possible, however, by elastic restoring forces of the at least one elastic body, however, the at least one cover rail is always transferred back into said defined position.
- the at least one cover rail with bias against the at least one base rail and thus pressed against the at least one lining edge.
- the at least one cover profile rail has to be slightly tilted relative to the defined position. This allows the at least one elastic body by its elastic deformability.
- the at least one elastic body In a relaxed position, the at least one elastic body holds the retaining rail in a neutral position in which the at least one cover leg z. B. is aligned parallel to the lining. It should also be pointed out that a relaxed state does not necessarily mean a completely relaxed state of the at least one elastic body.
- the at least one elastic body may also be biased between the at least one base profile rail and the at least one retaining profile rail. In this case, the relaxed position is to be understood as the position which the at least one elastic body assumes when no further forces act on the profiled rail system. Due to the elastic connection between the at least one retaining profile rail and the at least one base profile rail, there is also the advantage that seizing of the at least one covering leg on the covering reliably prevented.
- Such seizure comes about in particular when the at least one cover profile rail is fixed to the at least one retaining rail with excessive force. As a result, deformations at the point of contact with the respective covering leg can result in the lining. This can then lead to a movement of the pad under the at least one covering legs is no longer possible. However, such a movement is absolutely necessary because the coating undergoes a length expansion or shrinkage when changing temperature and humidity. Due to the profile rail system according to the invention, this change in length is ensured even under the most unfavorable installation conditions, so that the covering can float.
- the elastic body in particular polyurethane, polyethylene, polydimethylsiloxane, rubber and rubber have proven.
- the at least one elastic body is at least partially provided under the at least one retaining rail.
- the at least one elastic body forms a kind of bed for the retaining rail.
- this bed is designed such that the at least one retaining profile rail is inserted into the holding means of the at least one base profile rail substantially perpendicular to the plane extension of the covering. This facilitates the assembly considerably, since due to the considerable longitudinal extent of the rails, a lateral insertion represents a considerable installation effort.
- the at least one elastic body can be very easily mounted on the at least one base profile rail.
- the at least one elastic body can also be provided laterally to the at least one retaining profile rail. In this position, the at least one elastic body protects the connection point between the at least one retaining profile rail and the at least one Base profile rail against the penetration of dust and dirt, especially during installation when drilling mounting holes. Such dirt could significantly restrict the mobility of the rails against each other, so that a corresponding protection is very beneficial.
- the at least one elastic body is arranged at least partially above at least one foot, which is provided on the at least one retaining profile rail.
- the at least one elastic body presses the at least one retaining rail against the at least one base rail and thus ensures a bias of the at least one covering leg against the covering.
- This can be realized at least a part of the height adjustment of the profile rail system. In simple cases, this height adjustment may already be sufficient.
- the height adjustability which results from the connection of the at least one cover profile rail with the at least one retaining profile rail, be extended.
- a further preferred embodiment of the subject invention provides that the at least one elastic body is shaped such that the at least one retaining profile rail is completely separated from the at least one base profile rail. In this way, it is ensured that any connection between the at least one retaining profile rail and the at least one base profile rail is generated exclusively via the at least one elastic body. Thus, vibrations are transmitted only attenuated over this connection, resulting in a beneficial additional tread and / or sound insulation. In addition, the rails are reliably protected from wear and tear when pedaling.
- At least one elastic body in particular at least one polymer foam has been proven. This is very easy to manufacture and especially because of the low mass use also very inexpensive.
- a polymer foam has the advantage that it has by its structural inhomogeneity increased vibration damping, which has an advantageous effect on the desired foot and / or room sound insulation.
- at least one of the profile rails consists of a plastic, it is advantageous to mold the at least one elastic body to the at least one base profile rail and / or the at least one retaining profile rail.
- these rails can be created in one step with the at least one elastic body, whereby a corresponding assembly step is saved.
- the at least one elastic body is integrally connected both to the at least one retaining profiled rail and to the at least one base profiled rail, then further connecting components and assembly steps are dispensed with.
- the at least one cover rail must be connected to the at least one retaining rail. Further assembly steps are then no longer necessary.
- the at least one elastic body is formed by at least one elastomer.
- Elastomers are characterized by particularly high elastic deformability and are particularly suitable in cases of large required angle adjustment.
- the at least one elastic body is provided in a dust-tight manner between the at least one base profile rail and the at least one retaining profile rail. In this way, the junction between two rails is optimally protected.
- the at least one elastic body is provided in at least one corresponding recess of the base profile rail and / or retaining profile rail.
- these depressions are hollow-cylindrical, so that a cylindrical formation of the at least one elastic body ensures an optimal fit thereof.
- FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of a profile rail system 1 with a base rail 2, a cover profile rail 3 and a retaining rail 4.
- the base rail 2 is fixedly connected by means not shown holding means, in particular screws, with a substrate 5. It has holding means 6 in the form of upwardly directed webs, which are bent inwards at their upper end. Between the holding means 6 engages a foot 7 of the retaining rail 4. This is so wide that the holding means 6 on the upper side a stop for the Form holding rail 4 to keep in this way the retaining rail 4 securely to the base rail 2.
- the retaining rail 4 has a drive channel 8, in which a further retaining means 9 engages in the form of a screw.
- This holding means 9 connects the cover rail 3 with the retaining rail 4. By more or less deep screwing of the holding means 9 while a certain height adjustment of the cover rail 3 can be achieved.
- the cover profile rail 3 also has two vertically aligned guide webs 13. Alternatively, only one guide web 13 may be provided. These serve to guide the cover profile rail 3 when tightening the retaining means 9 and take on lateral forces in length changes of the coverings.
- the cover profile rail 3 has cover legs 10, the covering edges 11 of coverings 12 overlap.
- this elastic body 20 which are provided on the one hand under the foot 7 and / or on the other side laterally to the retaining rail 4.
- These elastic bodies 20 are preferably made of a polymer foam, in particular of an elastomer and are mechanically deformable in this way, in particular compressible.
- the elastic body 20 In the illustrated relaxed position, the elastic body 20 hold the retaining rail 4 in an upright position, so that the covering legs 10 of the cover profile rail 3 extend approximately parallel to the covering 12.
- the retaining rail relative to the base rail is pivotable, but this result by the elastic body 20 corresponding restoring forces that press the retaining rail 4 in the illustrated relaxed position. This facilitates the installation of the profile rail system 1 considerably.
- the elastic body 20 provided laterally for the retaining profile rail forms a lateral end of the profiled rail system. This prevents the ingress of dust in the connection between the retaining rail 4 and the base rail 2. Such dust is formed z. B. in the preparation of holes for fixing the base rail 2 on the substrate 5.
- a cap-shaped elastic body 20 is also provided, which engages over the retaining rail 4 side and top side. This elastic body 20 is designed such that it can be easily penetrated by the holding means 9. By this additional elastic body 20 results in a correspondingly improved sealing effect, sound insulation and / or increased adjustment angle.
- FIG. 2 shows an alternative embodiment of the profile rail system 1 according to FIG. 1 , wherein like reference numerals designate like parts. In the following, only the differences from the embodiment according to FIG. 1 received.
- the elastic body 20 are provided above the foot 7 of the retaining rail 4. Although this leads to a slightly more difficult installation of the retaining rail 4 on the base profile rail 2.
- this form of training has considerable advantages.
- the elastic body 20 now press from above against the foot 7 and thus stretch the cover legs 10 against the pad 12 before.
- the connection between the retaining rail 4 and the base rail 2 for height adjustment of the profile rail system 1 can be used.
- the holding profile rail 4 is sufficiently spaced retaining means 9 and the underside of the base rail 2, whereby the retaining rail 4 detects the base rail 2 exclusively on the elastic body 20. In this way results an advantageous sound insulation, since the sound can no longer be transmitted to the base rail 2.
- FIG. 3 shows a further alternative embodiment of the subject invention, wherein like reference numerals again denote like parts. In the following, only the differences from the embodiment according to FIG. 1 received.
- the elastic body 20 is designed such that it holds the retaining rail 4 on all sides to the base rail 2 at a distance. This results in optimal sound insulation. At the same time results in an optimal dust seal that reliably prevents the ingress of dust or other dirt in the connection between the retaining rail 4 and the base rail 2.
- the assembly of the elastic body 20 is relatively expensive in this case, so that in this embodiment, the elastic body 20 is preferably integrally formed on the base rail 2. In this way, the complex assembly step of the elastic body 20 on the base profile rail 2 is eliminated.
- FIG. 4 shows a further alternative embodiment of the subject invention, wherein like reference numerals again denote like parts. In the following, only the differences from the embodiment according to FIG. 1 received.
- the foot 7 is formed rounded so that its upper side preferably has a cylindrical or oval surface 14. This is designed to fit a hollow cylindrical mating surface 15 of the base rail 2. This results in a particularly smooth joint between the two parts.
- two elastic body 20 are provided, each preferably having a cylindrical shape. Alternatively, it is also intended to have a triangular, square or rectangular shape.
- 20 simple cords, especially rubber cords can be used for the elastic body.
- the elastic body 20 are held in corresponding recesses 16 of the base rail 2 and retaining rail 4. In this way, the elastic body 20 are securely held in corresponding receiving shells, so that even under adverse conditions slipping out of the elastic body 20 is reliably excluded from their recordings.

Description
The invention relates to a profiled rail system for covering at least one lining edge, consisting of at least one base profile rail and at least one cover profile rail.
There is known a profiled rail system, which consists of three rails, namely a fixable to the ground base rail, a covering edge with a covering leg cross deck profile rail and a two connecting retaining rail. The cover profile rail is fixed in the retaining profile rail. To achieve a freedom of movement of the cover profile rail, in particular in the sense of tilting, however, the retaining rail is movable relative to the base rail. This allows the cover profile rail to be individually adapted to the particular needs of the individual covering.
This profile rail system has proven itself in practice and forms the starting point of the present invention.
The invention has for its object to provide a profile rail system of the type mentioned, which is characterized by a simple installation and increased reliability.
This problem is solved with the following features.
An inventive profile rail system serves to cover at least one lining edge. This should preferably be able to withstand tensile forces in order to achieve a prestressing contact pressure of the at least one cover leg on at least one lining edge. To simplify the mounting of the profiled rail system is at least between the at least one base rail and the at least one retaining rail an elastic body provided. This holds in a relaxed position, the at least one retaining rail in a defined position. This defined position is preferably designed such that the at least one cover leg is aligned substantially parallel to the covering. A tilting of the at least one cover rail is then still possible, however, by elastic restoring forces of the at least one elastic body, however, the at least one cover rail is always transferred back into said defined position. This facilitates the installation of the profile rail system considerably, especially since the at least one cover rail occupies a favorable for mounting neutral position and is therefore mounted without further action in the correct position. In the course of assembly of the profiled rail system, the at least one cover rail with bias against the at least one base rail and thus pressed against the at least one lining edge. Depending on the mounting situation, it may happen that the at least one cover profile rail has to be slightly tilted relative to the defined position. This allows the at least one elastic body by its elastic deformability. In a relaxed position, the at least one elastic body holds the retaining rail in a neutral position in which the at least one cover leg z. B. is aligned parallel to the lining. It should also be pointed out that a relaxed state does not necessarily mean a completely relaxed state of the at least one elastic body. The at least one elastic body may also be biased between the at least one base profile rail and the at least one retaining profile rail. Such seizure comes about in particular when the at least one cover profile rail is fixed to the at least one retaining rail with excessive force. For the elastic body in particular polyurethane, polyethylene, polydimethylsiloxane, rubber and rubber have proven.
In a preferred embodiment of the subject invention, the at least one elastic body is at least partially provided under the at least one retaining rail. In this case, the at least one elastic body forms a kind of bed for the retaining rail. Preferably, this bed is designed such that the at least one retaining profile rail is inserted into the holding means of the at least one base profile rail substantially perpendicular to the plane extension of the covering. This facilitates the assembly considerably, since due to the considerable longitudinal extent of the rails, a lateral insertion represents a considerable installation effort. In addition, in this way, the at least one elastic body can be very easily mounted on the at least one base profile rail.
Alternatively or additionally, the at least one elastic body can also be provided laterally to the at least one retaining profile rail.
As a further alternative or in addition, the at least one elastic body is arranged at least partially above at least one foot, which is provided on the at least one retaining profile rail. In this way, the at least one elastic body presses the at least one retaining rail against the at least one base rail and thus ensures a bias of the at least one covering leg against the covering. This can be realized at least a part of the height adjustment of the profile rail system. In simple cases, this height adjustment may already be sufficient. Alternatively, the height adjustability, which results from the connection of the at least one cover profile rail with the at least one retaining profile rail, be extended.
A further preferred embodiment of the subject invention provides that the at least one elastic body is shaped such that the at least one retaining profile rail is completely separated from the at least one base profile rail.
For the at least one elastic body in particular at least one polymer foam has been proven. This is very easy to manufacture and especially because of the low mass use also very inexpensive. In addition, a polymer foam has the advantage that it has by its structural inhomogeneity increased vibration damping, which has an advantageous effect on the desired foot and / or room sound insulation. In particular, if at least one of the profile rails consists of a plastic, it is advantageous to mold the at least one elastic body to the at least one base profile rail and / or the at least one retaining profile rail. Thus, these rails can be created in one step with the at least one elastic body, whereby a corresponding assembly step is saved. If the at least one elastic body is integrally connected both to the at least one retaining profiled rail and to the at least one base profiled rail, then further connecting components and assembly steps are dispensed with. Thus, only at the construction site, the at least one cover rail must be connected to the at least one retaining rail. Further assembly steps are then no longer necessary.
Alternatively or additionally, it is advantageous if the at least one elastic body is formed by at least one elastomer. Elastomers are characterized by particularly high elastic deformability and are particularly suitable in cases of large required angle adjustment.
Moreover, it is favorable if the at least one elastic body is provided in a dust-tight manner between the at least one base profile rail and the at least one retaining profile rail. In this way, the junction between two rails is optimally protected.
In order to prevent the at least one elastic body from being pushed out of its position during assembly or during the tilting of the cover profile rail, it is advantageous if the at least one elastic body is provided in at least one corresponding recess of the base profile rail and / or retaining profile rail. Preferably, these depressions are hollow-cylindrical, so that a cylindrical formation of the at least one elastic body ensures an optimal fit thereof.

The retaining
The
In addition, the
