Les parois latérales dudit profilé (18) comportent des trous circulaires (21) espacés à intervalles régulier et positionné dans la partie supérieure dudit profilé, c'est-à-dire au-dessus de la paroi (19) formant entretoise. Ces trous (21) sont aptes à recevoir des boulons (22) traversant le profilé (18) et le longeron (5) qui est également muni de trous circulaires (23) espacés à intervalles réguliers. Une aile (49) s'étendant sensiblement perpendiculairement à l'embase (48) est obtenue par pliage de la plaque de tôle et l'extrémité libre de cette aile (49) est repliée vers le haut pour former un crochet (50). Ledit crochet (50) et l'extrémité distale de l'aile (49) sont évidés dans la partie centrale afin de recevoir l'axe d'une pédale d'un vélo, non représenté sur les figures. Claims (14)

  1. A storage device (1), designed for storing articles in a garage or the like having at least two opposite walls, the storage device being such that it is made up of a gantry structure (2) comprising four upright members (3), at least four transverse members (4a, 4b), including two upper members (4a) and two lower members (4b), and two telescopic longitudinal members (5) of shaped cross-section having a runway, and trolleys (26) provided with wheels (28), suitable for sliding along the longitudinal members (5) by bearing against the runways, said trolleys (26) being secured to hanger means for suspending the articles, and said storage device being such that it includes stabilizer means suitable for bearing against the walls and the upright members (3) in order to provide stability for the gantry structure (2).
  2. A device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that said stabilizer means consist of at least two actuators (6) secured to each upright member (3), namely an "upper" actuator (6) extending at the upper end of the upright member (3) and a "lower" actuator (6) extending in the lower portion of the upright member, each actuator being provided with a head suitable for bearing against a wall so that said actuators (6) bear against two opposite walls in order to provide stability for the gantry structure (2).
  3. A device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that said actuators (6) consist of jackscrew actuators each comprising a threaded rod cooperating with a tapped hole provided in the corresponding upright member (3), and a head integral with or secured to one of the ends of the threaded rod.
  4. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the trolley (26) consists of a substantially rectangular metal plate (27) having, at each of its free ends, a pair of wheels (28) and longitudinal slots (31) extending under the wheels (28) and between the wheels (28), said longitudinal slots (31) being suitable for receiving flexible straps (32).
  5. A device according to claim 4, characterized in that it has two trolleys (26) sliding in respective ones of the telescopic longitudinal members (5) and each having two straps (32), each of which extends under a respective pair of wheels (28), and in that each strap (32) has visible markers (34) at regular intervals and is suitable for receiving a "stop" piece (35) against which a rack (36) comes to bear.
  6. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the trolley (26) consists of a substantially rectangular metal plate (27) having a pair of wheels (28) in its central portion along the upper edge of said plate (27) and a longitudinal slot (31) extending under said pair of wheels (28), said longitudinal slot (31) being suitable for receiving at least one flexible strap (32).
  7. A device according to claim 6, characterized in that, at its free end, the flexible strap (32) has a hook-shaped piece (47).
  8. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it includes a transverse beam (43) provided at each of its ends with a substantially triangular cheek-plate (44) to which a trolley (26) is secured, said beam (43) being provided with at least two tabs (44), each provided with a respective slot (45) suitable for receiving a flexible strap (32).
  9. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it has a substantially rectangular tubular metal frame (59) having spacer struts (60) in its central portion, said frame being suitable for being secured between two upright members (3) of the gantry structure (2), said frame (59) being provided with hinge means (61) in such a manner that said frame (59) can be moved from a "retracted" position in which the frame (59) extends substantially vertically to an "active" position in which the frame (59) extends substantially horizontally.
  10. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that, at its lower end, each of the upright members (3) has a soleplate (14) in order to procure improved stability for and in order to avoid damage to the upright members (3).
  11. A device according to claim 10, characterized in that each soleplate (14) consists of a substantially rectangular plate (15) provided with three lugs (16, 17), namely two side lugs (16) and one central lug (17), said side lugs (16) coming to bear against the inside walls of the flanges of the channel-section member forming the respective upright member (3), and the central lug (17) coming to bear against the end wall of a notch (7) in the respective one of said upright members (3).
  12. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that each of the longitudinal members (5) is constituted by a metal member of rectangular cross-section having its lower face provided with a longitudinal slot (19), a shaped-section member (18) made of a plastics material being inserted into each of said longitudinal members (5) and forming a guide rail for guiding the trolleys (26).
  13. A device according to claim 12, characterized in that said shaped-section member (18) has a rectangular cross-section, its middle portion including a wall (20) forming a spacer strut in order to prevent it from being deformed while said shaped-section member (18) is being secured, and its lower wall being provided with a longitudinal slot (24) and with two lips (25) that extend on either side of said longitudinal slot (24), the free ends of said lips (25) being folded over outwards in order to enable the lips (25) to be engaged over the edges of the longitudinal slot (19) in the longitudinal member (5).
  14. A device according to claim 13, characterized in that the side walls of said shaped-section member (18) are provided with circular holes (21) spaced apart at regular intervals, and positioned in the upper portion of said shaped-section member (18), above the wall (20) forming the spacer strut, each of said holes (21) being suitable for receiving a bolt (22) passing through the shaped-section member, and the longitudinal member (5) being provided with circular holes (23) spaced apart at regular intervals.
