Zusätzlich besteht der Mangel, dass neben den gesteuerten Abschaltvorrichtungen immer ein zusätzlicher Schalter als Hauptschalter erforderlich und relativ großer Aufwand für elektronische Steuerungen gegeben ist. Ein Bodenpflegegerät bei dem beispielsweise eine automatische Höhenverstellung in Abhängigkeit von einem Drehmoment erfolgt, ist in der Patentanmeldung
