Claims (10)

  1. Railway vehicle comprising:
    - a body (3) equipped with at least one fixed floor (15, 16) delimiting a corridor which extends along the length of the vehicle;
    - a platform (18) extending between two lateral faces of the body (3), which platform is arranged opposite an opening (9) of the body (3) which is normally closed by a door (10), and is movable vertically relative to the floor (15, 16) between a top position in which the platform (18) is in alignment with the floor (15, 16) and a bottom position in which the platform (18) is out of alignment with the floor (15, 16), the bottom position corresponding to a boarding/alighting situation;
    - at least one movable passage (21) between the floor (15, 16) and the movable platform (18);
    characterised in that the or each movable passage (21) has at least one step (24, 25) which is movable between an intermediate position, between the top position and the bottom position of the platform (18), and the top position of the platform (18),
    so that, in the top position, the or each step (24, 25) is in alignment with the floor (15, 16) and the movable platform (18).
  2. Railway vehicle according to claim 1, characterised in that the body (3) has two movable passages (21, 22) arranged on either side of the platform (18) between the platform (18) and two fixed floors (15, 16).
  3. Railway vehicle according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises a drive system (29) capable of displacing the platform (18), and in that it comprises drive means (32) for the or each movable step (24, 25), the drive means (32) being operated by the displacement of the platform (18).
  4. Railway vehicle according to claim 3, characterised in that the means (32) for driving the or each movable step (24) by the platform (18) comprise at least one rod (33A; 33B) which is articulated relative to the platform (18) and with the floor (15, 16).
  5. Railway vehicle according to claim 4, characterised in that the or each rod (33A) slides relative to one of the floor (15) and the platform (18), and in that it comprises means for guiding the platform (18) in translation relative to the body (3) of the vehicle.
  6. Railway vehicle according to either claim 4 or claim 5, characterised in that the or each rod (33A) is articulated with the or each movable step (24) and is mounted to slide relative to the or each movable step (24, 25) in a longitudinal direction, and in that it comprises means (51A, 52A, 53A, 54A) for guiding the or each step (24) in translation relative to the body (3).
  7. Railway vehicle according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the or each movable step (24, 25) has a transverse guide surface capable of cooperating by its guiding with one of the floor (15), the platform (18) and an adjacent step (24, 25).
  8. Railway vehicle according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises a sliding closure member (63) which slides relative to the platform (18) and is interposed between the platform (18) and the door (10), and means (66, 67) for following the profile of the door (10) by an adjacent free end of the sliding closure member (63) during the displacement of the platform (18) relative to the body (3).
  9. Railway vehicle according to any one of claims 3 to 8, characterised in that it comprises:
    - means for detecting the position of the station platform (80) relative to the body (3),
    - means for calculating the boarding/alighting position of the platform (18) as a function of the position of the station platform (80), and
    - servo means for the platform (18) for the displacement thereof to the calculated boarding/alighting position.
  10. Railway vehicle according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises a movable bridging plate (77) which is arranged beneath the platform (18) and is displaceable between a retracted position and a position in which it protrudes relative to the body.
