The present invention was carried out against the background, a machine preferably with a connector (here: sleeve-shaped outer conductor) to provide a preferably vieradriges cable with screen mesh (so-called HSD cable) of small cross-section with high precision.
The core idea of the present invention is thereby to align the relative alignment of inner pin contacts (here: inner conductor) and an outer sleeve (here: sleeve-shaped outer conductor, which for the sake of clarity also simply referred to as "outer conductor") as precisely as possible in a longitudinal direction of the cable. and initiate crimping of the sleeve based on the relative orientation. Here, the inner conductor of the cable, which are in the case of a four-wire cable with the respective four wires in contact, by an insulating body (preferably made of a plastic material) rotationally aligned parallel to each other. Furthermore, the insulating body with a groove ensures that the insulating body only in a certain Orientation can be inserted into an outer conductor. Furthermore, it is provided that the configuration of the insulating body of a male connector and a female connector they can be pushed into each other only in a certain orientation, and thus only certain inner conductor of the male and female connector come into contact with each other.

In this way it can be ensured that the inner conductors of a cable are always in a defined relationship to an end face of an outer conductor. The quality of the plug made with the aid of this device is thus increased. This affects both male and female plugs.
In a further embodiment, the position detection device is arranged interchangeably on the outer conductor crimping unit. Furthermore, the outer conductor crimping unit can have a cable guide channel in which a cable is guided longitudinally. In addition, an
In the field of the device according to the invention may further be provided an insulator mounting device in which an insulating body can be positioned relative to the inner conductors of a cable, wherein the Isolierkörpermontagevorrichtung has movable slides in a horizontal direction, with which the inner conductor can be pressed into the insulating body. In this way it is possible to produce a secure connection between the inner conductors of a cable and the insulating body. The insulating body serves to align the inner conductor parallel to each other and hold. Furthermore, an insulation with respect to the outer conductor is provided above the insulating body, when the insulating body is introduced with the inner conductors in the outer conductor. Furthermore, the insulating body ensures a defined alignment in the circumferential direction between the inner conductors and the outer conductor. In other words For example, the insulating body with the inner conductors oriented parallel to one another can only be accommodated in an outer conductor in a specific orientation. In addition to the defined orientation in the circumferential direction is ensured by the configuration of the inner conductor in a male and a female connector that a male connector can be inserted only in a certain orientation in a female connector, and thus the inner conductor of the male connector only in certain inner conductor of female plug can be added.
In the region of the insulating body mounting device, an insulating body positioning device may further be provided with a rail designed to be complementary to a groove in the insulating body. The insulator positioning device is further configured to align the prepositioned insulator relative to the inner conductors of a cable. Subsequently, the inner conductor can be pressed laterally into the insulating body.
In a further preferred embodiment, the device according to the invention further comprises a stripping and crimping unit, which is designed to strip two substantially parallel cores of a cable and to crimp with inner conductors.
In this case, the stripping and crimping unit has a support surface inclined to a horizontal direction, on which a retaining clip receiving a cable can be arranged such that two wires of the cable can be aligned to form a stripping and crimping tool. In this way, it is possible to work two wires of a cable in parallel, while two other wires of the cable stand away from the stripping and crimping tool. By simply turning the retaining clip 180 degrees about the longitudinal axis of the retaining clip and reinserting the retaining clip on the Support surface, in a four-wire cable, the other two wires can be processed in parallel.
Preferably, the device according to the invention is at least partially provided with a sliding protective door. The protective door may cover the outer conductor crimping unit and / or the Isolierkörpermontagevorrichtung and / or the stripping and crimping unit. The protective door ensures that operation of the device is only partially granted with the protective door closed. This ensures that manual safety increases work safety.
Furthermore, the present application relates to a retaining clip for use in a said stripping and crimping unit and / or an insulator mounting device, which retaining clip mutually movable, for example pivotable or displaceable retaining clip segments which define a cable channel for receiving a cable in the closed state.
Such a retaining clip may have an exchangeable mouth portion, which is preferably connected by means of screws with at least one retaining clip segment.
Such a mouth portion includes an opening that is tuned to a particular cable size. Thus, when replacing the mouth section, the retaining clip can be used variably.
In other embodiments, it may be provided that the device according to the invention has the stripping and crimping unit and / or the insulating body mounting device instead of in addition to the outer conductor crimping unit.
In any case, the Isolierkörpermontagevorrichtung, in which an insulating body can be positioned relative to the inner conductors of a cable, but in addition to support

- Device according to claim 9, in which the fixing clip (20) has two fixing clip segments (21, 22) which can be moved with respect to one another and which in the closed state define a cable channel (23) to receive a cable (2).
- Device according to claim 12, which further has an interchangeable mouth section (24) which is preferably connected by means of screws (28) to at least one fixing clip segment (21, 22) and has an opening (25), with which a cable (2) maybe retained.
- Method for attaching the outer conductor (5) to a cable (2) using a device according to one of the preceding claims, comprising the following steps:- pre-positioning the outer conductor (5, 5') to a cable (2) by introducing the cable (2) into the outer conductor (5, 5') with a pre-assembled insulating body (4, 4'), which insulating body supports inner conductors (2f, 2f) of the cable (2) in a predetermined radial alignment within the outer conductor (5, 5'), wherein the insulating body (4, 4') is preferably designed such that it may only be introduced into the outer conductor (5, 5') in a certain peripheral orientation,- displacing the outer conductor (5, 5') and the cable (2) relative to one another,- detecting the relative position between the ends of at least one inner conductor (2f, 2f) of the cable (2) or a surface of the insulating body (4, 4') connected to the inner conductor (2f, 2f) and an end surface (5d) of the outer conductor (5, 5'),- triggering a crimping tool (202) when establishing a certain position between the ends of at least one inner conductor (2f, 2f') of the cable (2) or a surface of the insulating body (4, 4') connected to the inner conductor and an end surface (5d) of the outer conductor (5, 5').
- Method according to claim 14, in which after crimping the outer conductor (5, 5'), the distance between the end surface (5d) of the outer conductor (5, 5') and the insulating body (4, 4') received therein is determined, and/or in which the following steps take place before attaching the outer conductor (5) to a cable (2):- pre-positioning the insulating body (4, 4')- bringing the inner conductors (2f, 2f) closer so that the inner conductors (2f) are located essentially parallel to longitudinal grooves of the insulating body (4, 4')- lateral insertion of the inner conductors (2f, 2f) into the longitudinal grooves of the insulating body.
