    characterized in that it comprises an eye screw (2) comprising a shaft (12) extending along the main axis (X1), the gib (11) being positioned at a first end of said shaft (12), said shaft preferably being formed in a single piece with said gib (11), the shaft being axially extended at a second end opposite the first by a threaded zone (13), said device further comprising a nut (7) that is movable, between a screwed position and an unscrewed position, on the threaded zone (13), the second end of the shaft (12) bearing an abutment part (9), the threaded zone (13) forming a shoulder with said shaft (12), such that the axial movement of the nut (7) is limited between the abutment part (9), in its unscrewed position, and said shoulder, in its screwed position, the abutment part (9) being positioned so as never to be situated axially beyond the nut (7) relative to the gib (11).
  2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises means (61, 62) for blocking the gib (11) in its first position relative to the main body (21).
  3. The device according to claim 2, characterized in the means (61, 62) for blocking the gib (11) in its first position relative to the main body (21) comprise a post (62) formed on the gib (11) and provided to engage with the cavity when the gib is in said first position.

  8. The device according to claim 7, characterized in that the means for locking the nut (7) comprise a pin (8), preferably a ball-lock, the eye screw (2) comprising an axial housing for the insertion of said pin therein from one end (2Z) of the eye screw (2) opposite the gib (11).
  9. The device according to claim 8, characterized in that it comprises a flexible link (42) for connecting the pin (8) and nut (7), the nut comprising at least one groove (52) provided to protect the link therein when the pin (8) is in the locked position.
  10. The device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the ring (6) comprises a body (31) mounted rotating around the shaft (12), the ring (6) further comprising a bail (32), preferably articulated on the body (31) around an axis (X6) transverse to the main axis (X1).
  11. The device according to claim 10, characterized in that the body (31) of the ring (6) is mounted on the shaft (12) between the nut (7) and the return means (4).
  12. The device according to claim 4, characterized in that the return means (4) are mounted around the shaft (12), between the main body (21) and the nut (7).
  13. The device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is suitable for handling containers defined by standards ISO 668 and ISO 1161.
