Claims (13)

  1. Method of producing filter-tipped cigarettes, whereby material strip portions of final length spaced laterally apart from one another are adhered respectively to a rod-shaped smoking article group, in particular a tobacco rod-filter tip-tobacco rod group, and the material strip portions for a rod-shaped smoking article group are conveyed and spaced laterally apart from one another using a conveyor drum (36) as claimed in one of claims 1 to 9.
  13. Method as claimed in claim 12, characterised in that the material strip portions of final length on the conveyor drum (36) are cut respectively from a material strip (102.A, 102.B, 102.C), and in particular the material strips (102.A, 102.B, 102.C) are obtained from a conveyed total material strip (2) by longitudinally cutting the total material strip (2) upstream of the conveyor drum (36) relative to their conveying direction.
