Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for operating a chain stitch sewing machine, in particular a Doppelkettenstichnähmaschine, preferably a Dahlnadeldoppelkettenstichnähmaschine having a Nähorganpres from a needle piercing a fabric and arranged below a piece of cloth, along a movement path movable gripper, with the needle, a needle thread through the resting on the fabric support fabric is guided, which is chained with a bobbin thread.
- the invention further relates to a chain stitch sewing machine, in particular a Doppelkettenstichnähmaschine, preferably a Dahlnadeldoppelkettelstichnähmaschine, with a Nähorganpres from a, piercing a needle needle and arranged below a piece of cloth, movable along a trajectory gripper, the needle resting an upper thread through the on the Nähgutauflagen Sewing material leads and the upper thread is chained with a bobbin thread.
- the gripper can basically be moved back and forth between two end positions during the sewing process along an arcuate path of movement, so that the gripper performs an oscillating movement. If necessary, the gripper can then be controlled via a crank mechanism, so that the gripper performs a supplementary movement along the arc of a circle-shaped movement path compared to the usual, oscillating during the sewing process movement. As a result, the upper thread passes into the region of a gripper knee, in which a cutting blade is arranged, which serves to cut the upper thread.
- the above-described prior art basically shows ways in which the upper thread can be cut at the desired time.
- This point in time may, for example, be predetermined by an electronic control of the multi-needle sewing machine and may be necessary in particular when changing the sewing area in the large-sized sewing material.
- Such cutting of the upper thread prevents post-processing of the material at the end of the sewing process, in which manually or mechanically the upper thread, which does not run through the sewing material between adjacent Nähmustern. It has in this regard also proved to be a disadvantage that a subsequent trimming of the upper thread leads to a great effort.
- the invention has the object of developing a generic method for operating a chain stitch sewing machine such that reduced to form a clean Nähgutmustersentes on the underside of the fabric, the required amount of thread of the lower thread and the sewing start is simplified in the range of a subsequent Nähgutmusters. It is another object of the invention, a generic chain stitch sewing machine such to form that a method according to the invention can be advantageously carried out in an economical manner while avoiding the disadvantages presented above.
- the lower thread is supplied to a holding element and held in this, which is moved with respect to its movement direction and / or movement speed for Nähgutauflage corresponding to a movement path of a pivoting movement of the gripper, in particular along a circular arc segment-shaped trajectory.
- the inventive method thus ensures that the lower thread is also fixed during a sewing operation in which certain needles do not participate in the sewing process, while the entirety of the gripper is still moved in an oscillating manner. Furthermore, the sewing of a new thread chain is simplified in that the lower thread is fixed and can be easily grasped during the next stitching process and connected to the upper thread.
- the latter advantage is achieved in that the lower thread is stretched between gripper and retaining element. Due to the tension in the lower thread this is basically in a certain area, so that the sewing process, namely the insertion of the needle can be used as a defined location to hold the tensioned lower thread for an advantageous sewing.
- the lower thread is arranged substantially antiparallel to the longitudinal axis of the gripper extending between the tip and the holding element.
- the gripper is usually L-shaped and therefore has two legs. With the first leg of the gripper is inserted into a gripper holder which is rotatably connected to a gripper shaft.
- This embodiment has the advantage that the gripper can be exchanged in a simple manner, for example in the case of defects.
- the second leg of the gripper with the hook tip through which usually runs the lower thread extends substantially perpendicular to the first leg. This leg therefore has a longitudinal axis, which is here designated by the longitudinal axis of the gripper.
- Antiparallel deviating from this longitudinal axis of the lower thread extends in an advantageous manner, so that the Lower thread and this leg of the gripper are aligned V-shaped extending.
- the needle may pierce with the upper thread so as to concatenate the lower thread with the upper thread.
- the lower thread is made to the holding element before or during a running with a cutting tool cutting process, in particular the lower thread.
- a cutting tool cutting process in particular the lower thread.
- both the upper thread and the lower thread can be cut.
- two different cutting devices are usually provided.
- the lower thread is transferred before performing a cutting operation in the holding element and held in this.
- the cutting process can then be carried out outside the length of the lower thread between the hook tip and the holding element, so that this area of the lower thread is arranged stretched on the gripper even after execution of the cutting operation.
- the cutting operation can also be performed simultaneously with the transfer of the lower thread in the holding element.
- the cutting tool is moved during the cutting process into the area of the lower thread, in particular to the plant at least one cutting surface on the lower thread and the cutting process by a movement of the material relative to the Nähgutauflage and / or by a complementary Movement of the cutting tool is performed.
- the lower thread is already arranged and fixed in the holding element.
- the cutting tool is moved together with the gripper and the holding element.
- This can be done, for example, that both the gripper, and the cutting tool and the holding element are attached to the gripper holder, so that these components perform a total with respect to their direction of movement and in terms of their movement speed identical movements.
- the holding element can also be attached directly to the gripper and thus only indirectly on the holding element. Of course, the same also applies to the cutting tool.
- Cutting tool, the gripper and the holding member are moved during the sewing in a circular arc-shaped trajectory to a range in which the cutting tool does not come into contact with the lower thread and the cutting tool, gripper and holding member for performing the cutting along the trajectory with the same direction of movement over to move the area away. It is provided that the lower thread is arranged in the holding element before the cutting tool comes into contact with the lower thread.
- a holding element for the required support of the lower thread which is movable with respect to its movement direction and / or movement speed to Nähgutauflage corresponding to a movement path of a pivoting movement of the gripper, in particular along a circular arc segment-shaped trajectory.
- a retaining element which, if necessary, receives the lower thread and fixes it over a certain period of time.
- This holding element is movable with respect to its movement direction and / or movement speed to Nähgutauflage corresponding to a movement path of a pivoting movement of the gripper.
- this trajectory is formed arcuate section-shaped and results from the oscillating movement of the gripper shaft with the grippers arranged thereon.
- the holding element is arranged on the gripper, in particular in the region of a connectable to a gripper shaft portion of the gripper.
- the holding element can be screwed for example with a leg of the gripper.
- the holding element may also be arranged in the region of the gripper holder. This results in each case a concurrent movement of the holding element with the gripper.
- the holding element is arranged in the longitudinal axis direction of the gripper between the gripper and a cutting tool, wherein the cutting tool is movable together with the gripper.
- the cutting tool can cut the lower thread, for example, by a supplementary movement of the gripper shaft with the grippers in the direction of the lower thread.
- the cutting operation is carried out by a movement of the material on the Nähgutauflage, in which the lower thread is pulled into the cutting tool.
- the arrangement of the holding element between the gripper and the cutting tool has the advantage that it is ensured that the holding element, in particular in the former method of cutting previously in contact with the lower thread, so that it is jammed in the holding element.
- the holding element is arranged in such a way to the gripper, that the held thread extends substantially antiparallel to a leg of the approximately L-shaped gripper.
- the lower thread extends in its fixed arrangement between the hook tip and the holding element, for example, in the transition region of the two legs of the gripper to each other, wherein the holding element is laterally offset from the leg with the tip, so that the lower thread substantially anti-parallel to the longitudinal axis of the leg runs with the tip.
- the holding element consists of a connectable to a gripper holder, the gripper shaft and / or the gripper body and a spring-mounted element attached thereto, which is connected at a first end to the base body and the second end relative is movable to the base body and rests against the base body.
- This resilient element is preferably formed from a spring steel.
- the resilient element may have a slightly cranked configuration, so that the free end of the spring-elastic element lifts off from a surface of the base body, so that the insertion of the lower thread between the resilient element and the main body of the holding element is simplified. With the remaining area, the spring-elastic element is under spring preload on the main body of the holding element.
- This spring base voltage is dimensioned such that a sufficiently large Holding force is given, at the same time the lower thread but at the beginning of a new pattern of material can be removed without damage from the holding element. This is done for example by needle and needle thread.
- the holding element has a guide surface over which the lower thread is guided in dependence on the angular position of the gripper relative to the Nähgutauflage in a held position.
- the cutting tool, holding element and gripper are arranged relative to one another such that the lower thread is arranged in the holding element before the cutting tool is reached.
- the guide surface shown above is preferably located on the main body of the holding element and passes the lower thread in the region of the resilient element, until the lower thread between the main body and the resilient element is braced.
- Fig. 1 shows a Nähgutauflage 1, on which a fabric 2, for example, a multi-layer fabric is placed, which is movable relative to the fabric support 1.
- a needle 3 is arranged, which is reciprocally movable between two positions back and forth, wherein a position in Fig. 1 and a position in the Fig. 2 to 6 is shown.
- the needle 3 is inserted into the fabric 2 and passes through the Nähgutauflage 1, which has an opening not shown for this purpose.
- the needle 3 has in its needle tip 4 a needle eye 5, through which an upper thread 6 is guided, for better visibility in all Fig. 1 to 6 is dashed.
- Fig. 1 further shows a arranged below the fabric support 1 gripper shaft 8, on a gripper holder 9 is releasably attached.
- the gripper holder 9 has a bore 10, in which a substantially L-shaped gripper 11 is inserted with a spigot 12 in the region of a first leg 13.
- the gripper 11 is locked by a locking screw in the bore 10, which is screwed into a corresponding bore 14 having a thread.
- the gripper holder 9 itself is also substantially L-shaped and screwed to the gripper shaft 8 in the region of a rectangular cross-section clamping element.
- the gripper 11 has a second leg 16 with a free end, which is referred to as the hook tip 17. In the region of this hook tip 17, a bore 18 is arranged, through which the lower thread 7 is guided.
- a cutting tool 19 is provided, which is screwed to the gripper holder 9.
- the cutting tool 19 is connected downstream of the gripper, wherein the term "downstream" refers to a direction of movement of the gripper during the usual sewing operation in the direction of the hook tip 17.
- the cutting tool 19 consists of two blades 20, which is screwed together with the inclusion of an acute angle to each other by means of a screw 21 with a cutting tool holder 22.
- the cutting tool holder 22 is in turn screwed by means of a screw 23 with the gripper holder 9.
- the two blades 20 of the cutting tool 19 can be changed after loosening the screw 21 in its angular position relative to each other, so that there is a more or less large angle between the facing blades 20, whereby the blades 20 and thus the cutting tool 19 to parameters of Under thread, such as thread thickness and thread material can be adjusted.
- Fig. 1 shows a common starting position when sewing a chain stitch.
- the gripper 11 engages with its gripper tip 17 in the needle thread loop of the upper thread 6 and connects the guided from the gripper lower thread 7 with the upper thread 6.
- the needle 3 in the in Fig. 2 shown top position whereby the needle thread loop slides over the leg 16 of the gripper 11.
- the gripper 11 is then in a position substantially according to Fig. 1 swung back and the needle 3 stabs again with the upper thread 6 through the fabric 2, before the gripper 11 again from the in Fig. 1 position shown in the in Fig. 2 shown position is pivoted.
- Fig. 3 a position of the gripper 11 is shown, in which the gripper 11 via the position according to Fig. 2 is swung out to cut the upper thread 6 by means provided in the transition of the legs 13 and 16 cutting tool 24.
- the lower thread 7 is hereby tensioned.
- the gripper 11 is further pivoted in the clockwise direction, the lower thread 7 reaches a position between the two blades 20 of the cutting tool 19. It is now sufficient for a slight further pivoting of the gripper 11 according to Fig. 5 to cut the lower thread by means of the cutting tool 19. Additionally and / or alternatively it can be provided that in a position of the gripper 11 according to Fig. 4 the fabric 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow 25, so that also thereby the lower thread 7 is pulled into the V-shaped recess between the blades 20 and cut on the blades 20.
- the bobbin thread is cut with a length sufficient to avoid opening the stitch. Subsequently, the fabric can then be moved to a new position relative to the needle 3, for example, to begin a new pattern of material.
- Fig. 6 shows in addition the basic possibility by moving the material 2 relative to the fabric support 1 to adjust the remaining thread length of the lower thread 7, but also the upper thread 6, so that the lower thread 7 is cut with a sufficient, remaining on the fabric 2 length.
- a presser foot 26 is shown in Fig. 6 in addition.
- Adjusting the remaining thread length of the lower thread 7 according to Fig. 6 is not limited to the illustrated position of the gripper 11 relative to the fabric 2. A corresponding displacement of the material 2 relative to the Nähgutauflage is of course possible in the positions of the gripper 11, as in the Fig. 3 until 5 are shown.
- the Fig. 7 to 10 show the embodiment of a gripper 11 with a gripper holder 9 and a clamping element 15, are clamped to the gripper holder 9 and gripper 11 on a gripper shaft 8.
- the show Fig. 7 to 10 the cutting tool 19 with the blade 20, which is connected via the screw 21 with the gripper holder 9.
- a holding element 27 can be recognized, which is arranged between the leg 13 of the gripper 11 and the cutting tool holder 22, wherein the holding element 27 is screwed by means of a screw 28 with the leg 13 of the gripper 11.
- the holding element 27 consists of a base body 29 and a resilient element 30, for example a spring steel.
- the resilient element 30 is fixed by means of a screw 31 on the base body 29 of the retaining element 27 such that a free end 32 of the resilient element 30 relative to the base body 29 against the spring force of the resilient element 30 is movable.
- the resilient element 30 rests against the base body 29 in order to clamp a bobbin thread between the base body 29 and the elastic element 30 as required. Only the free end 32 is spaced from the base body 29 arranged to facilitate the threading of the lower thread 7 between the base body 29 and the resilient element 30.
- the main body 29 has a guide surface 33, via which the lower thread 7 can be transferred as required and with appropriate pivoting of the gripper holder 9 with the gripper 11 in the direction of the resilient element 30 and thus in the clamping position.
- the region of the holding element 27, in which the lower thread between the base body 29 and the resilient element 30 is held when needed is arranged laterally offset from the longitudinal axis of the gripper 11, so that emerging from the bore 18 lower thread 7 when arranged in the holding element 27 is aligned anti-parallel to the longitudinal axis of the gripper 11 and extending with the gripper in a V-shaped alignment, so that in a subsequent stitch formation, the needle 3 (Fig. Fig. 1 ) between the lower thread and the gripper 11 punctures and pulls the lower thread 7 from the holding member 27 in the upward movement.

The invention relates to a method for operating a chain stitch sewing machine, in particular a Doppelkettenstichnähmaschine, preferably a Vielnadeldoppelkettenstichnähmaschine having a Nähorganpaar from a needle piercing a fabric and arranged below a piece of cloth, along a movement path movable gripper, with the needle, a needle thread through the resting on the fabric support fabric is guided, which is chained with a bobbin thread. The invention further relates to a chain stitch sewing machine, in particular a Doppelkettenstichnähmaschine, preferably a Vielnadeldoppelkettelstichnähmaschine, with a Nähorganpaar from a, piercing a needle needle and arranged below a piece of cloth, movable along a trajectory gripper, the needle resting an upper thread through the on the Nähgutauflagen Sewing material leads and the upper thread is chained with a bobbin thread.
Such methods and sewing machines are known in the art.
In the case of the multi-needle double-chain stitch sewing machine previously known from the document mentioned above, the gripper can basically be moved back and forth between two end positions during the sewing process along an arcuate path of movement, so that the gripper performs an oscillating movement.
The above-described prior art basically shows ways in which the upper thread can be cut at the desired time. This point in time may, for example, be predetermined by an electronic control of the multi-needle sewing machine and may be necessary in particular when changing the sewing area in the large-sized sewing material. The same applies if different material samples are to be executed in a large-sized fabric. Such cutting of the upper thread prevents post-processing of the material at the end of the sewing process, in which manually or mechanically the upper thread, which does not run through the sewing material between adjacent Nähmustern. It has in this regard also proved to be a disadvantage that a subsequent trimming of the upper thread leads to a great effort. Furthermore, such manual and / or mechanical reworking time and labor intensive and do not necessarily lead to a required uniformity of the Nähgutmuster on the visible surface of the fabric.
In generic chain stitch sewing machines thus a lower thread and an upper thread are linked together. In the case of large-area sewing goods, for example mattress parts, it is customary that these are provided with a plurality of, as a rule, identical material samples, which are sewn separately from one another into the material to be sewn. It is known to cut the upper thread at the end of a pattern of sewing material, in order to subsequently avoid the removal of non-stitched upper thread sections or Oberfädenresten. This simplifies work and of course also increases the visual impression of quality. In the area of the lower thread, removal of the non-stitched lower thread sections is not absolutely necessary in order to meet the above requirements. This is due, on the one hand, to the fact that these mattress elements, in particular, are connected to one another in a jacketed manner, wherein the areas with the lower threads are arranged in the inner area of the mattress, so that remaining lower threads or lower thread portions do not interfere.
Nevertheless, there is of course a requirement to reduce the consumption of bobbin thread material in order to be able to offer competitive products. In the prior art, it is also known to cut these lower threads after completion of a pattern of sewing material. However, it has been found that the problem is that the sewing of the next fabric pattern is difficult in that lower thread and upper thread must be merged to form a new thread chain. In addition, there is a risk that the lower threads slip out of these grippers due to the oscillating movement of the gripper.
At this point, the invention begins. The invention has the object of developing a generic method for operating a chain stitch sewing machine such that reduced to form a clean Nähgutmusterbildes on the underside of the fabric, the required amount of thread of the lower thread and the sewing start is simplified in the range of a subsequent Nähgutmusters. It is another object of the invention, a generic chain stitch sewing machine such to form that a method according to the invention can be advantageously carried out in an economical manner while avoiding the disadvantages presented above.
To solve this problem is provided on the part of the inventive method that the lower thread is supplied to a holding element and held in this, which is moved with respect to its movement direction and / or movement speed for Nähgutauflage corresponding to a movement path of a pivoting movement of the gripper, in particular along a circular arc segment-shaped trajectory.
The inventive method thus ensures that the lower thread is also fixed during a sewing operation in which certain needles do not participate in the sewing process, while the entirety of the gripper is still moved in an oscillating manner. Furthermore, the sewing of a new thread chain is simplified in that the lower thread is fixed and can be easily grasped during the next stitching process and connected to the upper thread.
In particular, the latter advantage is achieved in that the lower thread is stretched between gripper and retaining element. Due to the tension in the lower thread this is basically in a certain area, so that the sewing process, namely the insertion of the needle can be used as a defined location to hold the tensioned lower thread for an advantageous sewing.
For this purpose, it has proved to be advantageous that the lower thread is arranged substantially antiparallel to the longitudinal axis of the gripper extending between the tip and the holding element. The gripper is usually L-shaped and therefore has two legs. With the first leg of the gripper is inserted into a gripper holder which is rotatably connected to a gripper shaft. This embodiment has the advantage that the gripper can be exchanged in a simple manner, for example in the case of defects. The second leg of the gripper with the hook tip through which usually runs the lower thread extends substantially perpendicular to the first leg. This leg therefore has a longitudinal axis, which is here designated by the longitudinal axis of the gripper. Antiparallel deviating from this longitudinal axis of the lower thread extends in an advantageous manner, so that the Lower thread and this leg of the gripper are aligned V-shaped extending. In a triangle formed by this V-shaped curve, at the beginning of the subsequent sewing operation, the needle may pierce with the upper thread so as to concatenate the lower thread with the upper thread.
According to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the lower thread is made to the holding element before or during a running with a cutting tool cutting process, in particular the lower thread. With the gripper both the upper thread and the lower thread can be cut. For this purpose, two different cutting devices are usually provided. Advantageously, the lower thread is transferred before performing a cutting operation in the holding element and held in this. Following this, the cutting process can then be carried out outside the length of the lower thread between the hook tip and the holding element, so that this area of the lower thread is arranged stretched on the gripper even after execution of the cutting operation. In principle, the cutting operation can also be performed simultaneously with the transfer of the lower thread in the holding element.
It is provided according to a further feature of the invention that the cutting tool is moved during the cutting process into the area of the lower thread, in particular to the plant at least one cutting surface on the lower thread and the cutting process by a movement of the material relative to the Nähgutauflage and / or by a complementary Movement of the cutting tool is performed. At this time, the lower thread is already arranged and fixed in the holding element.
Preferably, the cutting tool is moved together with the gripper and the holding element. This can be done, for example, that both the gripper, and the cutting tool and the holding element are attached to the gripper holder, so that these components perform a total with respect to their direction of movement and in terms of their movement speed identical movements. However, the holding element can also be attached directly to the gripper and thus only indirectly on the holding element. Of course, the same also applies to the cutting tool.
Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren ist es als Weiterbildung vorgesehen, dass dasIn the method according to the invention, it is provided as a development that the
Cutting tool, the gripper and the holding member are moved during the sewing in a circular arc-shaped trajectory to a range in which the cutting tool does not come into contact with the lower thread and the cutting tool, gripper and holding member for performing the cutting along the trajectory with the same direction of movement over to move the area away. It is provided that the lower thread is arranged in the holding element before the cutting tool comes into contact with the lower thread.
This results in the temporal sequence of the preceding fastening of the lower thread in the holding element and the subsequent cutting operation.
The solution of the above-described problem sees in a sewing machine according to the invention a holding element for the required support of the lower thread, which is movable with respect to its movement direction and / or movement speed to Nähgutauflage corresponding to a movement path of a pivoting movement of the gripper, in particular along a circular arc segment-shaped trajectory.
In the case of the chain stitch sewing machine according to the invention, a retaining element is thus provided which, if necessary, receives the lower thread and fixes it over a certain period of time. There is a need, for example, for finishing a pattern of sewing material in which the upper thread and lower thread are cut, the sewing material is moved relative to the sewing elements, and a new sewing pattern is started with upper thread and lower thread. This holding element is movable with respect to its movement direction and / or movement speed to Nähgutauflage corresponding to a movement path of a pivoting movement of the gripper. Preferably, this trajectory is formed arcuate section-shaped and results from the oscillating movement of the gripper shaft with the grippers arranged thereon.
According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the holding element is arranged on the gripper, in particular in the region of a connectable to a gripper shaft portion of the gripper. The holding element can be screwed for example with a leg of the gripper. Alternatively, of course, the holding element may also be arranged in the region of the gripper holder. This results in each case a concurrent movement of the holding element with the gripper.
It is further provided that the holding element is arranged in the longitudinal axis direction of the gripper between the gripper and a cutting tool, wherein the cutting tool is movable together with the gripper. The cutting tool can cut the lower thread, for example, by a supplementary movement of the gripper shaft with the grippers in the direction of the lower thread. Alternatively, there is the possibility that the cutting operation is carried out by a movement of the material on the Nähgutauflage, in which the lower thread is pulled into the cutting tool.
The arrangement of the holding element between the gripper and the cutting tool has the advantage that it is ensured that the holding element, in particular in the former method of cutting previously in contact with the lower thread, so that it is jammed in the holding element.
Preferably, the holding element is arranged in such a way to the gripper, that the held thread extends substantially antiparallel to a leg of the approximately L-shaped gripper. In this embodiment, the lower thread extends in its fixed arrangement between the hook tip and the holding element, for example, in the transition region of the two legs of the gripper to each other, wherein the holding element is laterally offset from the leg with the tip, so that the lower thread substantially anti-parallel to the longitudinal axis of the leg runs with the tip.
According to a further feature of the invention it is provided that the holding element consists of a connectable to a gripper holder, the gripper shaft and / or the gripper body and a spring-mounted element attached thereto, which is connected at a first end to the base body and the second end relative is movable to the base body and rests against the base body. This resilient element is preferably formed from a spring steel.
The resilient element may have a slightly cranked configuration, so that the free end of the spring-elastic element lifts off from a surface of the base body, so that the insertion of the lower thread between the resilient element and the main body of the holding element is simplified. With the remaining area, the spring-elastic element is under spring preload on the main body of the holding element. This spring base voltage is dimensioned such that a sufficiently large Holding force is given, at the same time the lower thread but at the beginning of a new pattern of material can be removed without damage from the holding element. This is done for example by needle and needle thread. It is further provided that the holding element has a guide surface over which the lower thread is guided in dependence on the angular position of the gripper relative to the Nähgutauflage in a held position.
Finally, according to a further feature of the invention, it is provided that the cutting tool, holding element and gripper are arranged relative to one another such that the lower thread is arranged in the holding element before the cutting tool is reached.
The guide surface shown above is preferably located on the main body of the holding element and passes the lower thread in the region of the resilient element, until the lower thread between the main body and the resilient element is braced.
