Dieses Problem wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass das Riegelelement eine Stützfläche hat, mit der es in der Offenstellung bündig mit dem Gehäuse abschließt und dass die Oberflächen des Riegelelementes und des Gehäuses kontinuierlich ineinander übergehen und dass der Schieber einen Anschlag zur Abstützung des Riegelelementes in Offenstellung hat.

Claims (7)

  1. A lock (6) of a drive rod fitting (3) of a casement (2) of a window, a French window, a door or the like pivotable against a frame (1), with a housing (12), having a locking element (7) which is drivable by a longitudinally displaceable drive rod (5) and pivotable about a pivot axis (10) arranged parallel to the drive rod (5), which is pivotably mounted from a recessed open position into a protruding closed position relative to the housing (12), and having a counter bearing (9) opposite the locking element (7) located in the closed position, wherein the locking element (7) is provided for fastening to the frame (1) or to the casement (2) and the counter bearing (9) for fastening to the respectively opposite component, characterized in that the locking element (7) has a support surface (8), with which it terminates in the open position flush with the housing (12) and that the surfaces (16, 17) of the locking element (7) and of the housing (12) continuously transition into one another and that the slide (13) has a stop (26) for support of the locking element (7) in the open position.
  2. A lock according to Claim 1, characterized in that the housing (12) is designed pot-shaped and on its edge has a circumferential fastening flange (15) for resting on the casement (2) or the frame (1).
  3. A lock according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the locking element (7) in each case has a section (18, 19) of different height relative to the support of the housing (12) on the casement (2) or the frame (1) and that the pivot axis (10) is arranged on the high section (18) and the end of the locking element (7) facing away from the pivot axis (10) is arranged on the low section (19).
  4. A lock according to Claim 3, characterized in that the transition from the low section (19) to the high section (18) has a ramp (21).
  5. A lock according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the fastening recesses (20) for using fastening screws are arranged on the high section (18) of the housing (12).
  6. A lock according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the housing (12) has a guide (24) for a slide (13) of the gear mechanism (11) which can be coupled with the drive rod (5) and that the slide (13) has a slide guide (14) with the locking element (7).
  7. A lock according to any one of Claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the surface of the fastening flange (15) transitions continuously to the surface adjacent to the locking element (7) and on its edge is limited by a radius (22) and/or by a chamfer (23).
