Definitions
- the invention also relates to a timepiece comprising at least one such movement, and / or at least one such rapid correction mechanism.
- the invention relates to the field of watchmaking, and more particularly the field of timepieces with complications for displaying temporal quantities, such as calendar, moon phase, day, month, or the like.
- the invention relates to the field of chronographs equipped with such complications.
- temporal quantities such as the date, the moon phases, the tides, the day, the month
- temporal magnitudes require corrections by catch-up, either in the case of a calendar to catch leap years, or in the case of moon phases to compensate for the slight difference between the lunar months and the approximation made to it. by the wheel.
- corrections may also be necessary in case of loss of references, for example following a shock on the timepiece.
- such a display comprises a disc or an integral ring respectively of a toothed wheel or a ring gear, or the like, and the movement of the timepiece causes a certain pitch this wheel or crown, to the required frequency.
- a similar arrangement is visible on the patent CH 4542 in the name of Abegglen , and a first pusher is pivotable and cooperates with a lunar wheel direct drive tooth.
- a second pivoting plunger rotates a star held by a jumper, which cooperates with a tooth, constituted by a spring, that includes a first date change wheel, to rotate it and cause a return which in turn causes a second date change wheel comprising a spring reminding a pivoting peripheral bracket ratchet function, causing in turn a date wheel.
- the patent CH 672 223 in the name of Catena describes a tide indicator, as well as moon phases, by action of the rod, in the setting position, in the negative direction.
- the mechanism has two gears, one upper driven on the hours barrel, the other lower, mounted frictionally on the latter, and each driving a ring, a superior superimposed on a lower one, and with gear ratios different within each gear-ring pair, so that the lower ring rotates more slowly than the upper, by decoupling a friction on the hour wheel.
- Days of the upper ring, and an adequate combination of gear ratios allow to visualize the phases of the moon according to a sector of the lower ring delimited by the upper ring.
- the upper wheel always follows the hour hand, the lower wheel is held by a ratchet when the hour wheel rotates in the negative direction, and it is then possible to correct the moon phase by rotating the upper ring alone.
- the patent EP 0 107 177 in the name of Erard also discloses a mechanism for viewing moon phases, with synchronization by the crumb on time, and setting back to the timer.
- the hour wheel carries a moon gear causing a return driving a moon wheel.
- This moon gear itself carries a moon phase gear mounted crazy and friction by means of an annular friction spring, the moon phase gear causing a return which causes a coaxial moon phase wheel to the moon wheel.
- the moon phase gear cooperates with a pawl that allows the moon phase gear to pivot only if the hour wheel is rotated clockwise, and otherwise locks it, allowing the moon phase correction.
- the patent CH 577,197 on behalf of EBAUCHES SA, describes a date correction mechanism, by a movable selector controlled by the control rod via the pull tab.
- This movable selector cooperates, in some of its positions, with a pivoting lever, one arm cooperates with the groove of the sliding pinion.
- This pivoting rocker carries, coaxially, a wheel arranged for, when the control rod is pushed, cooperate with the timer in a first stop position of the rocker, and a star arranged to mesh with a date ring in a second position of stop of the rocker.
- This pivoting rocker can still occupy, when the control rod is pulled, an intermediate position where the star is released from the ring, and where the wheel is released from the timer, but cooperates with the spout of this rotary selector, in a first selection position corresponding to a clockwise pivoting of the rod, and in a second selection position corresponding to the anti-clockwise pivoting of the rod.
- a preferential execution combining the functions of time setting, correction of the calendar, and reassembly involves an intermediate rocker, pivotally mounted on the plate, which carries the crown wheel, and which cooperates, at the end of an arm that it comprises, with the zipper and / or the movable selector, which comprises a pin arranged for can be supported on the pivoting rocker carrying the wheel and the star.
- the crown wheel drives the additional rocker in cooperation with the movable selector in a position where it has no effect on the pivoting rocker which is in its intermediate position, and wherein the crown wheel can mesh with a barrel ratchet for reassembling it; in the anti-clockwise direction of the rod, the crown wheel is unsheathed from the barrel ratchet, and the selector is in a selection position.
- the intermediate rocker and the movable selector When the rod is pulled from the winding position, the intermediate rocker and the movable selector occupy a position where the pin of the latter pushes the pivoting lever to its first stop position, meshing the wheel of the pivoting lever with the timer to set the time; when the rod is pulled from the selection position, the intermediate rocker and the movable selector occupy a position which allows the pivoting rocker to pivot towards its second abutment position under the action of its return spring, allowing the meshing of the star with the date crown.
- This efficient device requires a large number of flip-flops, and occupies space in an already very congested area.
- the patent EP 0 230 878 on behalf of Complications SA presents a moon phase correction by the intermediate position of the rod, between the winding and setting positions.
- the sliding pinion meshes with a sliding device moving longitudinally in a light, between a position corresponding to a first direction of pivoting of the rod where it adjusts the date through a wheel bearing a star, and a another position corresponding to a second direction of opposite pivoting of the rod where it adjusts the moon phase, each time via a star.
- the training of the moon phase disc is carried out, from an additional hour wheel, by a wheel having two cooperating elastic fingers, one with a seven-tooth star of the days of the week held by a jumper, and the other with the toothing of the moon phase disc also held by a jumper; these elastic fingers make it possible to carry out the correction at any time without deterioration, even if the fingers are in contact with the star wheel.
- the patent EP 0 479 147 in the name of ETA SA describes, analogously, a moon phase corrector by the control rod. It also comprises a movable sliding pinion in an arcuate light between drive positions of a date wheel or a moon phase wheel, with which it cooperates with an upper wheel, while a lower wheel of this player remains permanently meshed with a corrective wheel driven by the pivoting of the rod.
- the patent document CH 651 172 in the name of Wiederrecht has a moon phase indicator mechanism with correction by the crown.
- a 59-tooth moonwheel maintained by a jumper, cooperates with a pawl, which is pivotally and eccentrically mounted, movable between two abutting flats, on an intermediate wheel whose pivot is supported by a flat spring and which meshes with a pinion driven on the hour wheel.
- the ratchet once a day, drives the moon disc, when an actuating tooth that includes this pawl enters the teeth of the moon disk, and when a rear edge of the pawl abuts against a first flat of the moon.
- the setting of the lunar day time is carried out by alternating movements in front of and behind the winding crown of an amplitude corresponding to one or two hours around midday.
- the crown drives the needles counter-clockwise
- the intermediate wheel rotates clockwise
- the pawl driving tooth contacts the leading edge of a tooth of the moon disk
- the pawl tilts on its pivot until abutting by a front edge on another flat of the intermediate wheel.
- the driving tooth is then partially retracted, and, during the continuation of the pivoting of the intermediate wheel, the moon disk is driven in the opposite direction of a fifth tooth, before the pawl escapes the tooth of the disc of moon that he trained.
- the jumper then returns the moon disk to its previous position, so that the moon disk is driven stepwise in the clockwise direction to the desired position.
- timepieces such as chronographs
- the equipment of timepieces must be rethought, so as not to increase the number of control members, to ensure tightness especially in deep diving conditions, and to maintain the cost of the correction function to a reasonable level.
- the invention proposes to overcome the limitations of the prior art, by proposing a mechanism using a pre-existing control member on a timepiece, to make corrections of a magnitude related to time.
- the invention relates to a mechanism for rapidly correcting a function display indicator for a movement or a workpiece watch, according to independent claim 1.
- the invention also relates to a timepiece comprising at least one such movement, and / or at least one such rapid correction mechanism.
- the invention also relates to such a timepiece, characterized in that it is a chronograph.

- the mechanism 1 further comprises a second mobile 60, which is arranged to be driven by the second control means 40, but only when both the first mobile 50 is in its arming position 52 such that visible on Figures 5 and 6 , and the second control means 40 move from their disarmed position 41 to their control position 42, as visible on the figure 6 . Its drive by the second control means 40 is then made to an actuating position to change the position of the indicator 20.
- This second mobile 60 is arranged to be maintained in a rest position in which it has no effect on the indicator 20 which it is then disengaged, when the first mobile 50 is in its disarming position 51 as visible on the figure 4 where the second mobile 60 occupies a rest position disarmed and inactive. Or the second mobile 60 is held in another rest position in which it has no effect on the indicator 20 from which it is disengaged, when the second control means 40 are in their disarmed position 41 as visible on the Figures 4 and 5 and where the second mobile 60 occupies an armed and inactive rest position.
- the transition from the disarmed and inactive rest position to the armed and inactive rest position is done by combining a translation and a pivoting, as will be explained below.
- the second mobile 60 comprises a second bearing surface 63, which is arranged to cooperate, when the first mobile 50 is in its disarming position 51, in abutment with a first bearing surface 53 that includes the first mobile 50.
- This cooperation is done under the action of elastic return means 70, which includes the mechanism 1.
- These elastic return means 70 are in permanent support on a bearing surface 71, which includes the second mobile 60.
- These means resilient return 70 are arranged to push the second mobile 60 to the first mobile 50, and to subject the second mobile 60 to a pivoting torque tending to move away from the indicator 20 and to bring it closer to an actuator second control means 40, in particular push-button 43 and direct rocker 44.
- This direct flip-flop 44 which comprises, as the case may be, the mechanism 1 or the second control means 40, is arranged to cause in its movement, during a driving action on the part of a user, in particular by pushing on a push button 43, the second mobile 60 via a control support surface 45 that includes the second mobile 60, and to constitute, in its disarmed rest position 41, a stop limiting the pivoting stroke second mobile 60.
- the second mobile 60 comprises second guide means 64, which are arranged to cooperate with first guide means 65 which are complementary to them, and which are arranged to be fixed directly or indirectly on the plate 10.

- these stops 83 and 84 are the ends of the light 82 which moves relative to the peg 81 preferably fixed to the plate 10.
- the pin 81 is, in any stable position of the second mobile 60, resting on one or other of the stops 83, as visible on the Figures 5, 6 , and 7 , or 84, as visible on the figure 4 .
- the second mobile 60 comprises complementary drive means 66, which are arranged to cooperate with the drive means 22 of the indicator 20.
- These drive means complementary 66 are carried by a spring arm 67, which tends to apply to the drive means 22 a substantially radial steering force.
- the flexibility of this arm-spring 67 is useful if, for example due to an impact or the like, one arrives in tooth-to-tooth position, either between the complementary drive means 66 and the drive means 22, or between these and drive motor means that includes movement 100 for training
- the direction of the possible bracing force does not pass through a pivot axis, or by an instantaneous center of pivoting, that the indicator 20 comprises. which makes it possible, thanks to the slight change of direction of the force, to release the indicator 20.

- the invention also relates to such a watch movement 100 or such a timepiece 1000, comprising, mounted directly or indirectly on the plate 10, at least one such rapid correction mechanism 1. It is understood that the same movement 100 , or the same timepiece 1000, may comprise several fast correction mechanisms 1, each intended to correct or adjust a different indicator 20.
- the pin 81 and the pivot 56 of the mechanism 1 are fixed, either directly to the plate 10 of the movement 100 or the workpiece 1000, or, preferably, on an additional board itself fixed to the previous one.
- the entire corrector mechanism 1 is advantageously fixed on such an additional board.
- the first control means 30 can allow, in a position T2, a first fast correction mechanism 1 to correct a first indicator 20, for example a moon phase indicator, and, in another position T3, a second fast correction mechanism 1 to correct a second indicator 20, for example a date.
- Elements may be common to these different fast correction mechanisms 1, for example the pull tab 54, which preferably cooperates with mechanisms located on different and parallel planes.

- the reset is not done, but the direct flip-flop 44 acts on the flip-flop 68 and the moon is corrected.
- the pressure to be exerted is then stronger, about 30 N instead of 22 N of normal force on the pusher, because of a resisting force of about 8 N to overcome at the spring of the means limiting, which arms and disengages the reset means of the chronograph in this case.
- the indicator 20 is a moon phase indicator 21 which comprises a moon gear 22, with which the mechanism 1 cooperates, and which is held in position by a moon jumper 29 armed with a spring 29A.
- a moon drive wheel 25 comprising a finger 26, mounted on a spring, drives the toothed moon disc 22, this spring allowing the disengagement of this drive to allow correction by the mechanism 1 according to the invention.
- the indicator 20 is a date indicator 23, and the mechanism 1 cooperates with a toothed date ring 24 for its pivoting drive.
- a ring 24 is visible on the figure 3 , is driven by a date drive wheel 27, and is held in position by a date jumper 28 armed by a spring 28A.
- the invention also relates to a timepiece 1000 comprising at least one such movement 100 and / or at least one such rapid correction mechanism 1. Particularly and preferably, this timepiece 1000 is or comprises a chronograph.

The invention also relates to a timepiece comprising at least one such movement, and / or at least one such rapid correction mechanism.
The invention relates to the field of watchmaking, and more particularly the field of timepieces with complications for displaying temporal quantities, such as calendar, moon phase, day, month, or the like.
More particularly, the invention relates to the field of chronographs equipped with such complications.
The display of temporal quantities such as the date, the moon phases, the tides, the day, the month, is generally performed on the mechanical timepieces with the help of mobile driven by the movement, most often by the hour wheel. Some of these temporal magnitudes require corrections by catch-up, either in the case of a calendar to catch leap years, or in the case of moon phases to compensate for the slight difference between the lunar months and the approximation made to it. by the wheel. These corrections may also be necessary in case of loss of references, for example following a shock on the timepiece.
Traditionally, such a display comprises a disc or an integral ring respectively of a toothed wheel or a ring gear, or the like, and the movement of the timepiece causes a certain pitch this wheel or crown, to the required frequency.

These simple devices, however, have the disadvantage of the risk of a sealing defect in the pusher used for the correction of the display.
Also it was envisaged to control the display correction through a pre-existing adjustment means at the timepiece, in this case the winding rod and setting time in the case of a watch.

Apart from the correction mechanisms based on the use of the winding and setting rod, there are few solutions to make these corrections other than by additional pushers, which each time pose sealing problems , and represent a significant cost.
In particular, the equipment of timepieces such as chronographs must be rethought, so as not to increase the number of control members, to ensure tightness especially in deep diving conditions, and to maintain the cost of the correction function to a reasonable level.
The invention proposes to overcome the limitations of the prior art, by proposing a mechanism using a pre-existing control member on a timepiece, to make corrections of a magnitude related to time.
For this purpose, the invention relates to a mechanism for rapidly correcting a function display indicator for a movement or a workpiece watch, according to

- first control means of at least a first function, connected to first display means, and capable of occupying a disarmed position or at least one control position;
- second means for controlling a second function distinct from said first function, linked to second display means, and capable of passing, under the effect of an action by a user, a disarmed rest position; to an instantaneous trip control position of said second function after which instantaneous tripping said second control means are recalled by return means to their said disarmed rest position;

The invention relates to the field of watchmaking, and more particularly the field of timepieces with complications for displaying temporal quantities, such as calendar, moon phase, day, month, or the like, or for the display of physical quantities such as atmospheric pressure or others.
More particularly, the invention is described in application to the field of chronographs equipped with such complications.
Thus, the invention relates to a
figure 7 .
- first control means 30 of at least a first function, linked to first display means, and which are capable of occupying a disarmed
position 31, or at least one commanded armed position 32: This first function can in particular consist in setting the time of the timepiece, or in its reassembly by the crown. In the exemplary embodiment illustrated by the figures, the first control means 30 comprise arod 33 for controlling at least the time setting, and the disarmedposition 31 corresponds to a stop position T1 of therod 33, which is arranged to occupy at least one other armed position T2 orT3 control 32, preferably by a longitudinal movement of the control rod, generally in traction relative to the corresponding T1 position in the depressed position of therod 33, with the crown which equips it as close as possible to the timepiece case, as visible on thefigure 7 . - second control means 40 of a second function distinct from the first function, linked to second display means, which are capable of passing, under the action of a user, a position disarmed
rest 41 to a commandarmed position 42 instantaneous tripping of the second function at the end of which instantaneous tripping the second control means 40 are returned by return means to this disarmedrest position 41. These second means ofcontrol 40 are not arranged to remain in thearmed control position 42, which is only a transient actuating position. In a preferred, but in no way limiting, application of the invention, illustrated by the figures, thewatch movement 100 includes a chronograph movement, and this second function can consist of the on / off control of the chronograph, or else the reset of the chronograph. In either case, the second control means 40 comprise apush button 43 for controlling the on / off mechanism or the reset mechanism concerned. This push-button 43 is generally designed to cause, when it is activated by the push action of a user, adirect latch 44, which is biased towards the disarmedrest position 41 of the push-button 43, by means of recall. elastic. In the case where themovement 100 does not include such a direct flip-flop, therapid correction mechanism 1 according to the invention comprises such a direct flip-flop 44 biased, by elastic return means associated with it, to the disarmed rest position. 41 of thepushbutton 43 of the chronograph.
This direct flip-
Les seconds moyens de commande 40 sont distincts des premiers moyens de commande 30.The second control means 40 are distinct from the first control means 30.
This
This third function can take different kinds: preferably, and as described below, it can be the display of a moon phase, or a date. This third function can also relate to a display of tide time, day of the week, month, time zone, or the setting of an alarm clock, a ringtone, an account mechanism to countdown, change of schedule, or counting of bridges in a sports game, or any usual complication in watchmaking, or other.
However, if, preferably, the first, second and third functions concern the display of temporal magnitudes, and conventional complications, the
The second mobile 60 comprises second guide means 64, which are arranged to cooperate with first guide means 65 which are complementary to them, and which are arranged to be fixed directly or indirectly on the
Cette cheville 81 constitue un axe de pivotement instantané du second mobile 60.In a preferred embodiment and as visible in the figures, the second guide means 64, respectively the first complementary guide means 65, are constituted in the form of a
To perform the correction of the
These complementary drive means 66 advantageously comprise at least one

figure 4 , the first control means 30 are in the disarmedposition 31, thelatch 54 is in the disarmedposition 51. Thepeg 55 of thelatch 54 then blocks thesecond bearing surface 63 of thelatch 68, and limits the travel of thislatch 68. this. The return means 70, in particular constituted by aspring 72, bear against the bearingrest surface 71 of thelever 68. Thepin 81 bears against anabutment 84 at one end of theslot 82, on the thepull tab 54. Therocker 68 is then perfectly maintained in the rest position, and the complementary drive means 66 of therocker 68 are remote from the drive means 22 of theindicator 20, and can not interfere with them. Thecorrective mechanism 1 is then disarmed and inactive. - when, following an action on the
control rod 33, in particular a traction action to move from aposition 31 T1 crown pressed to aposition 32 of traction T2 or T3 time setting by the timer, or reassembly, the first control means 30 are in thearmed position 32, thelatch 54 is pivoted in thearmed position 52. As visible on thefigure 5 , thepin 55 of therocker 54 no longer impedes thesecond bearing surface 63 of therocker 68, and allows the movement thereof, under thespring return action 72, on the bearing surface ofreturn 71. Thepin 81 bears on thestop 83 at the other end of theslot 82, on the side of thespring 72. Therocker 68 is pivoted clockwise by thespring 72 until the support of thesurface control support 69 on acontact surface 45 that includes thedirect latch 44, which is in the disarmedposition 41. Themechanism 1 is then ready for operation. The complementary drive means 66 of the flip-flop 68 are brought close to the drive means 22 of theindicator 20. Thecorrective mechanism 1 is then armed and inactive. - as visible on the
figure 6 a pressing of a push-button 43 of the second control means 40 makes it possible to drive, preferably by thiscontact surface 45, thecontrol support surface 69 of the flip-flop 68, which then pivots in a counter-clockwise direction around thepin 81, and provides a pulse against thespring arm 67 and with an intensity greater than the return force of the latter and the return torque applied by thespring 72 on thelatch 68, to driving means complementary 66 of the flip-flop 68, which then interfere with the trajectory of the drive means 22 of theindicator 20, and leads them one step. Thespring arm 67 allows the release of thetooth 660 of the toothing of theindicator 20, after having driven the latter pivotally, without triggering reverse pivoting when it leaves. Thecorrective mechanism 1 is then armed and active. - the return means that comprise, or the second control means 40, or the
mechanism 1, recall thedirect latch 44 to thepush button 43, thelatch 68 is free to rotate back clockwise, and the arm -ortort 67 facilitates the output of the complementary drive means 66 relative to the drive means 22 of theindicator 20, while thespring 72, pushing theface 71 of therocker 68, imparts a pivoting return torque clockwise around theankle 81, bringing therocker 68 back into its armed position, until thecontrol surface 69 is supported on thecontact surface 45 that thedirect rocker 44 has, which is in return disarmedposition 41. At this point, any new impulse on the push-button 43 makes it possible to drive theindicator 20 by one step.
The invention also relates to such a
The
In a particular construction, not illustrated here, the first control means 30 can allow, in a position T2, a first
Indeed, when the chronograph reset function is used for the moon phase correction, as explained here, the normal procedure is to switch to chronograph stop mode, and perform a pre-reset, all by being in the position of push rod T1. When the rod is pulled to the T2 or T3 position, the action on the
The invention also relates to a
In sum, the invention makes it possible to use existing mechanisms, for example the pull rod driven by the rod and the mechanism of delivery to zero of a chronograph, with the addition of a minimum number of components, which are, moreover, easy to produce and edit.
