Abstract

The invention concerns a signaling or flashing light device, in particular for moving parts of automatic opening/closing systems. The device comprising at least a flashing light source governed by a relative circuit (14) and preset to indicate the operating and movement state of closing under the control of a general control centre (13) and incorporates, in connection with the circuit (14) of a luminous source, a transmitter/receiver circuit (15) configured to emit and transumi corresponding radiofrequency signals towards an electronic control card (12) associated with the general powered and general control unit (13), so as to visibly signal both the movement, the insecurity and/or faults in the system and the stop of the moving parts and the correct set-up of said system.

Description

"SIGNALING DEVICE IN PARTICULAR FOR AUTOMATIC OPENING/CLOSING SYSTEMS"
* * * *
Field of the Invention
This invention concerns a device for signaling movement in particular for automatic opening/closing systems, that is to say powered, such as gates, automatic barriers, shutters, sectional doors and the like. State of the Technique
For example, the automatic opening/closing systems depend on a control panel and general control and usually comprise, in addition to other normal protection and control devices, a signaling device, also called an indicator, consisting in a luminous source set up to indicate the operating and movement state of the closing movement under the control of the general control unit.
The instalation of the signalling devices in the sphere of these systems generally require electric connections at least to the general control unit. This, obviously, involves the various types of work, digging, laying and covering,, cable ducting, connecting cables, etc., that necessarily require the intervention of operators with different jobs, plus important labour times, without in addition excluding accomplishment errors, cable short circuit risks inside the gullies caused by water, insects and/or dirt.
The documents US 2004/239496 and US 2006/028157 are representative of the state of the technique, but concern systems for monitoring the state or position of a barrier or automatic door but not movement signaling devices associated with a barrier or automatic door. Objective and Summary of the Invention
This invention refers instead to a signaling device associated with any powered closing system and designed to avoid the drawbacks of the known technique complained about beforehand.
It is in fact one of the objectives of the invention to propose a movement signaling system, that is to say an indicator, for automatic closing systems, simple and easy to install, without the need for electric connections, either from external feed sources, or control equipment, without however altering its functionality and reliability.
This objective is reached, according to the invention, with a luminous signaling device, in particular for powered opening/closing systems, which incorporate a transmitter/receiver circuit set up to recognize the active/deactive state of the luminous signaling device and to emit and send corresponding radiofrequency signals towards an electronic management card connected or incorporated with the general control centre of the opening/closing system, so as to visibly signal the movement or stop state of the moving parts.
Then, advantageously, the signaling device according to the invention also incorporates and electric feed for an autonomous electric feed
The invention however represents an important innovation in that it adopts the use of the radiofrequency also when communicating between a control centre and a peripheral signaling device, the luminous signaling device, in an ambient in which it has never been applied. Furthermore the autonomous feed of each luminous signaling device contributes in eliminating at least the abovementioned, expensive and complex electrical system work plus, tank to the absence of connection cables, the risk of short circuits.
Brief description of the drawings Further details of the invention will become evident in the following description made in reference to the attached drawing, indicative and not limiting, in which the only figure shows a block diagram of the device proposed herein. Detailed Description of the Invention In said drawing however is shown a signaling device, or indicator, generically indicated by the number 11 , in combination with an electronic management card 12 and a general control centre 13, for example, o fan opening/closing automatic system - not shown- having at least a powered part subject to movements. The signaling device 11 comprises at least a flashing luminous source and is managed by a relative circuit 14, the configuration of which and the function of which is well known and therefore does not need to be described here.
In agreement with the invention, the signaling device 11 incorporates also a transmitter/receiver 15 circuit connected to a circuit of the illuminating device 14 and able to communicate via the radio with the electronic management card 12 connected to the general control centre 13.
Furthermore, the same protection device 11 is autonomously provided with its own electric power supply 16, that can be made up of standard or rechargeable batteries, consequently without connections to an electric network. In the case of rechargeable batteries, these can also be set up to be connected to a photovoltaic feed module (not shown) which may also be incorporated in the device.
The transmitter/receiver 15 circuit will be set up to receive and recognize the active or deactivated state of the illuminating device 14 of the signaling device 11 and to communicate through radiofrequency signals with the electronic management card 12, bidirectionally according to the arrows 17. In its turn, the electronic card 12 will be configured to elaborate the radiofrequency signals arriving from the transmitter/receiver 15 on board the protection device 11 and correspondingly to send signals in the direction of the general control centre 13. This in order to visibly indicate each time the operating state of the autonomised system, that is to activate the flashing luminous source in the presence of a moving part of the opening/closing system or of a fault in the system or an intervention of safety devices and to deactivate it when such part in movement is idle and the system is correctly tuned.
