Das Hubelement 29 ist im Gehäuse 41 oder in einem Gehäuseabschnitt des Bohrhammers 1 drehfest angeordnet, jedoch hubverstellbar gelagert. Bei einer Drehverstellung der Hülse 39 gleiten die Gleitkörper 38 entlang der jeweiligen Rampe 40 ab, wodurch es zu einer Hubverstellung des Hubelements 29 kommt. Um die jeweilige obere oder untere Endstellung des Hubelements 29 zu sichern, können die Rampen 40 an ihrem unteren Ende und/oder an ihrem oberen Ende mit einer Raststufe 42 ausgestattet sein.
