Die Erfindung betrifft einen Seitenfaltenbeutel aus einer Kunststofffolie mit zwei Frontwänden, eingelegten Seitenfalten, die unterhalb des oberen Beutelrandes enden, einem Verschluss sowie Längssiegelnähten, welche die Frontwände oberhalb der Seitenfalten randseitig verbinden und die Beutelkanten im Bereich der Seitenfalten verstärken. Der Verschluss weist Anschlussfahnen mit Rastleisten auf und kann als Druckverschluss oder Schieberverschluss ausgebildet sein. Im Falle eines Schieberverschlusses ist ein entlang den Rastleisten bewegbarer Schieber vorgesehen. Die Anschlussfahnen überdecken das obere Ende der Seitenfalten. Gegenstand der Erfindung und Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist ein Seitenfaltenbeutel nach Anspruch 1. wherein the connecting lugs (5) of the closure (4) cover the upper end of the side gussets (2) and, at their end, which faces away from the latching strips (6), are connected by means of an air-tight, separable connection (8), characterized in that a tear-off strip (12), which is defined by weakened lines (11, 11'), can be separated below the upper bag edge (3) from one of the two front walls (1), so as to expose the closure (4), that the longitudinal sealed seams (9) are interrupted in the area of the tear-off strip (12) and the tear-off strip (12) extends across the width of the front wall (1), so that the closure (4) can be exposed on one side at only one front wall (1) by separating the tear-off strip (12), the opposite front wall (1') remaining intact, and a top area (15) above the closure (4) remains, and that the top area (15) consists of film sections of the two front walls (1, 1'), which are connected by means of a longitudinal sealed seam (9) on both sides.
The side gusseted bag according to claim 1, characterized in that provision is made at a top area (15) of the side gusseted bag above the closure (4) for a handle.
The side gusseted bag according to claim 2, characterized in that the front walls (1, 1') above the tear-off strip (12) are provided with a handle punching (16).
The side gusseted bag according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the tear-off strip (12) can be torn off along a weakening line (11), which is arranged below the latching strips (6) and which extends parallel to the latching strips (6) up to the two edges or limitations of the front wall (1) on the edge side.
The side gusseted bag according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that, on at least one end, the tear-off strip (12) encompasses a connecting link (13), which is formed by means of a punching in the front wall (1).
The side gusseted bag according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the tear-off strip (12) encompasses a window-shaped punching (14), which surrounds a slider (7) of the closure (4) in its closed position.
The side gusseted bag according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the weakening lines (11, 11'), which define the tear-off strip (12), are embodied as perforation lines.
