Definitions
- the invention relates to a chair with a support frame and a relative to this between a front working position and a rear rest position sliding in a sliding guide, a seat supporting seat frame and with a relative to the seat frame pivoting, with the seat frame kinematically coupled frame for a backrest.
- Such a piece of furniture is already widely used in daily practice, especially in the office and is therefore due to obvious prior use of the prior art.
- the focus is on the ergonomically sensible change between hollow and round backs when sitting.
- a back support in all positions should be made possible. This is achieved by a kinematic coupling of the seat with the backrest, which is held on a side frame member.
- This frame element is guided in a slotted guide such that the movement from the working position into the rear rest position leads to an inclination of the backrest to the rear and at the same time to a lowering of the backrest.
- the seat is moved along a substantially horizontal plane.
- the seat has at its rear end a vertical upward bend, which is parallel to the back of the work in the working position, in the rest position, however, with this includes an acute angle.
- An associated with both the backrest and with this bend pad thus undergoes an additional slope, which differs from the actual backrest.
- the DE 10 2007 012 728 A1 relates to a passenger seat for vehicles, in particular rail vehicles, with a seat part and a backrest, wherein the seat part relative to a common with the backrest base frame in the seat longitudinal direction is displaceable.
- the seat part by moving the seat part forward at the same time a rearward bulge of the backrest in the lumbar region is obtained as support for a kyphosis position of the back, so that the entire seat part surface is still available, although the lower part of the backrest cushion is pulled forward.
- the DE 10 2006 056 928 B3 relates to a seat with a seat plate and a backrest, wherein the seat plate is connected to a first connecting means with a base means and adjustable with respect to the base means in the height and at the same time in the inclination and in the seat longitudinal direction.
- the two laterally opposite front-side connecting lever and the two laterally opposite rear connecting lever between the base device and the seat plate a Parallelogrammgestlinde, which is achieved by the dimensions of the front and the rear link, that when pivoting the connecting lever, the seat plate in relation to Base device is moved from an at least approximately horizontal position in the seat longitudinal direction to the top front and with its rear part down.
- the backrest is adjusted with its lower part forward and with its shoulder portion to the rear.
- a synchronous mechanism for office chairs is known.
- a base support is placed on a chair column, to which on the one hand a pivotable about a transverse axis, hingedly connected to the base support seat carrier and on the other hand a pivotable about a transverse axis, hingedly connected to the base support backrest support is mounted.
- Seat support and backrest support are coupled so articulated that a pivoting movement of the backrest to the rear induces a downward movement of the rear edge of the seat down.
- DE 199 22 446 A1 relates to a synchronous mechanism for a correlated seat-backrest movement of an office chair.
- a seating is also off US 4,452,486 known.
- the invention has for its object to provide a way to realize a further improved, ergonomic and orthopedic advantageous sitting position by several mutually movable elements of the seat. At the same time required for the realization of design effort should be kept relatively low.
- a chair in which the frame carries a pelvic support arranged in the rear region of the seat, which is inclined in the working position with respect to the plane of the seat, and in which a support element of the support frame extends into the region of the backrest and carries an abutment to which the frame is slidably and pivotally supported and the frame is connected to a rear end portion of the seat frame with the latter by a hinge.
- the invention is based on the surprising finding that not only the shape of the backrest or the displacement of the seat leads to an ergonomic and orthopedic advantageous seating position, but rather the subdivision of the seat in a larger front seat area, which also forms the main seat, and in a smaller rear, so the backrest adjacent formed by the pelvic support area a significant improvement in sitting position allows.
- the pelvic support in the rest position unfolds no special support function, this occurs in a shift of the working position, while supporting the pelvis and at the same time exerts a pleasant pressure load with a direction of action forward, so that the undesirable, slipping back of the buttocks area is avoided.
- this extremely advantageous effect is also realized in a technically relatively simple manner, namely by the pelvic support is immovably connected to the backrest and is pivoted together with this around a horizontal joint, which extends between the front seat area and the pelvic support.
- a slotted guide for the frame is therefore not required.
- the joint which not only defines the pivoting movement, but also transmits the sliding movement of the user of the seat on the frame, in conjunction with the abutment on which the frame performs a superimposed pan and displacement movement.
- the abutment is arranged in a plane well above the seat.
- the pelvic support can have both a support body, which as well as the seat is covered by a common cushion element, as well as a separate molded part with deviating degree of hardness.
- the joint is arranged on both sides of the seat and has a common, physical or virtual pivot axis. In particular, the joint has only a single degree of freedom.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment is also achieved in that the pelvic support is arranged inclined only in its working position relative to the plane of the seat upwards.
- the pelvic support of the seat closes flush with the surface, so that it is only enlarged in principle.
- the pelvic support raises and unfolds the desired support function comparable to a known wedge pillow by the oblique, rising backwards shape, so that the pelvis and the loins are automatically tilted slightly to the. This raises the chest and spine is stretched, so the pelvis and lumbar area is greatly relieved.
- a lowered position of the pelvic support may be provided in the rest position.
- the inclination angle can be made adjustable. Depending on the individual preference, the pelvic support can then lie in the rest position in a common plane with the seat surface.
- a particularly simple and at the same time highly effective embodiment is achieved when the pelvic support and the backrest are immovable relative to each other in the movement between the working position and the rest position.
- the pelvic support unfolds a supporting effect to the user of the chair before.
- the invention overcomes the prejudice of the art, according to which a fixed angle between the seat and backrest is to be avoided in principle.
- the backrest relative to the frame during movement between the working position and the rest position relative to each other is immovable, whereas, however, a adjustability of the backrest relative to the frame, for example, in sections for generating desired contouring, conceivable and useful is.
- the frame has on the one hand a pelvic support, on the other hand, the backrest associated area. Accordingly, a variant in which the frame has an angle element, which is connected with its first leg to the backrest and with its further leg to the pelvic support, proves to be particularly simple. Both the backrest and the pelvic support may be interchangeable at this angle element. In particular, such a functioning mechanism is created independently of the aesthetic design, which opens up a variety of applications.
- a particularly simple embodiment of the present invention is achieved when the joint connecting the frame with the seat frame is designed as a hinge joint, so as to realize the desired trajectory with little design effort.
- the support frame forms a stop for the movement of the backrest in the rest position, so that the backrest in the rest position, in which an increased load acts not only against the abutment, but in addition against the Stop, for example, positively abuts.
- the stop flush with the back of the seat back stabilizes the lateral force introduction.
- Another, also particularly promising modification is created by the fact that the frame is guided laterally in a guide, in particular in a profile, wherein the frame in the first place counteracts an undesirable lateral displacement, ie transversely to the direction of movement of the seat.
- the guide can also form a slide for the frame, so that the guide fulfills the function of the abutment and can account for a separate abutment.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention is achieved when the abutment can be fixed in different positions and so the distance of Abutment against the seat is adjustable.
- the abutment can be arranged on an adjustable flange, which can be adjusted without tools, for example, by means of an actuating means.
- the supporting element carrying the abutment can also be made adjustable relative to the support frame.
- An essential advantage of the invention is also that the required according to the prior art complex adaptation to different body weights omitted according to the invention. Nevertheless, it proves to be desirable in practice, when the seat and / or backrest is movable against the restoring force of a spring element in the rest position, so that the seat automatically assumes its upright working position when relieved by the user.
- the spring element can for this purpose be designed as a simple coil spring and integrated into the sliding guide of the seat.
- the abutment can be formed in a simple manner by a mere contact surface. Particularly useful, however, is a modification in which the abutment is designed as a sliding or roller bearings and thus at the same time allows a displacement of the frame on the abutment and a pivoting movement about the abutment.
- wheels or rollers which can also be made profiled, as well as plain bearings, which may preferably have a friction-reducing coating, such as PTFE.
- the seat frame carries a front seat cushion and the frame carries a immediately adjacent to the front seat cushion pelvic support of the pelvic support, so that an attractive and high-quality aesthetic appearance is achieved.
- the seating furniture can be realized in a variety of forms.
- the seating can be designed as a work chair, office chair, waiting chair, for example in the waiting area of an airport, resting chair or as a seat of a motor vehicle, aircraft or rail vehicle, as a dental chair in the medical and therapeutic field and also as a barber chair or the like be also pure recliner can be advantageously equipped with the motion kinematics according to the invention.
- the seating 1 will be described below with reference to the FIGS. 1 to 3 explained in more detail, showing the seating 1 from different views. For better understanding, the depiction of upholstered elements was omitted.
- the chair 1 has a support frame 2, which is constructed on a known bogie 3.
- This support frame 2 carries a relative to this, between a dashed only shown front working position in a rear rest position in a sliding guide 4 horizontally displaceable seat frame 5 with only hinted to recognize seat 6.
- the sliding in a plane seat frame 5 is provided with a relative to the Seat frame 5 and the support frame 2 pivotally movable frame 7 kinematically coupled.
- This frame 7 carries on the one hand a backrest 8, on the other hand also arranged in the rear region of the seat surface 6 pelvic support 9.
- the frame 7 is designed as a bending frame member 10, which with a first leg with the backrest 8 and another Leg is connected to the pelvic support 9.
- this pelvic support 9 is inclined in the working position relative to the plane of the seat surface 6 and thus emerges from the plane of the seat surface 6, while the pelvic support 9 is lowered in the rest position relative to the seat surface 6.
- the mechanism required for this kinematics furthermore comprises a support element 11 connected to the support frame 2, which extends into the area of the backrest 8 and is equipped there with a stop 12 for the rest position of the backrest 8.
- an abutment 13 for the frame 7 or the backrest 8 is arranged on the support element 11, which allows a superimposed displacement and pivoting movement and is realized in the illustrated variant by a roller.
- the frame 7 is therefore on the one hand supported on this abutment 13, on the other hand connected to a rear end portion of the seat frame 5 with this executed by a hinge joint 14, so therefore an inclination of the backrest from the working position shown in dashed lines in the rest position to a slope and at the same time to a lowering of the backrest 8, but also to a lowering of the rigidly connected to the backrest 8 pelvic support 9 and their displacement leads to the front. Due to the kinematic coupling in this way, the seat 6 after postponed.
- the abutment 13 in different positions corresponding to a plurality of fixation of the abutment 13 selectively receiving recesses 15 can be fixed so as to adjust the distance a of the abutment 13 relative to the seat 6 in this way are different ergonomic and orthopedic with little mechanical effort realized sensible seating positions.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a chair with a support frame and a relative to this between a front working position and a rear rest position sliding in a sliding guide, a seat supporting seat frame and with a relative to the seat frame pivoting, with the seat frame kinematically coupled frame for a backrest.
Such a piece of furniture is already widely used in daily practice, especially in the office and is therefore due to obvious prior use of the prior art. The focus is on the ergonomically sensible change between hollow and round backs when sitting. In particular, a back support in all positions should be made possible. This is achieved by a kinematic coupling of the seat with the backrest, which is held on a side frame member. This frame element is guided in a slotted guide such that the movement from the working position into the rear rest position leads to an inclination of the backrest to the rear and at the same time to a lowering of the backrest. At the same time the seat is moved along a substantially horizontal plane.
In addition, the seat has at its rear end a vertical upward bend, which is parallel to the back of the work in the working position, in the rest position, however, with this includes an acute angle. An associated with both the backrest and with this bend pad thus undergoes an additional slope, which differs from the actual backrest.

A disadvantage of the previously known seating furniture of the type mentioned has been proven that the seat is indeed movable and also an ergonomically correct relative position between the seat and the backrest is adjustable. However, a relative position of individual partial areas of the seat, which automatically adapts to these different seating positions, has not yet been realized or taken into consideration.
The invention has for its object to provide a way to realize a further improved, ergonomic and orthopedic advantageous sitting position by several mutually movable elements of the seat. At the same time required for the realization of design effort should be kept relatively low.
This object is achieved with a chair according to the features of
According to the invention, a chair is provided in which the frame carries a pelvic support arranged in the rear region of the seat, which is inclined in the working position with respect to the plane of the seat, and in which a support element of the support frame extends into the region of the backrest and carries an abutment to which the frame is slidably and pivotally supported and the frame is connected to a rear end portion of the seat frame with the latter by a hinge. The invention is based on the surprising finding that not only the shape of the backrest or the displacement of the seat leads to an ergonomic and orthopedic advantageous seating position, but rather the subdivision of the seat in a larger front seat area, which also forms the main seat, and in a smaller rear, so the backrest adjacent formed by the pelvic support area a significant improvement in sitting position allows. Thus, while the pelvic support in the rest position unfolds no special support function, this occurs in a shift of the working position, while supporting the pelvis and at the same time exerts a pleasant pressure load with a direction of action forward, so that the undesirable, slipping back of the buttocks area is avoided. At the same time this extremely advantageous effect is also realized in a technically relatively simple manner, namely by the pelvic support is immovably connected to the backrest and is pivoted together with this around a horizontal joint, which extends between the front seat area and the pelvic support. A slotted guide for the frame is therefore not required. Rather, for the realization of this optimal movement alone, the joint, which not only defines the pivoting movement, but also transmits the sliding movement of the user of the seat on the frame, in conjunction with the abutment on which the frame performs a superimposed pan and displacement movement. For this purpose, the abutment is arranged in a plane well above the seat. The pelvic support can have both a support body, which as well as the seat is covered by a common cushion element, as well as a separate molded part with deviating degree of hardness. The joint is arranged on both sides of the seat and has a common, physical or virtual pivot axis. In particular, the joint has only a single degree of freedom.
A particularly advantageous embodiment is also achieved in that the pelvic support is arranged inclined only in its working position relative to the plane of the seat upwards. As a result, in the rest position, the pelvic support of the seat closes flush with the surface, so that it is only enlarged in principle. During the movement of the backrest in the front working position, the pelvic support raises and unfolds the desired support function comparable to a known wedge pillow by the oblique, rising backwards shape, so that the pelvis and the loins are automatically tilted slightly to the. This raises the chest and spine is stretched, so the pelvis and lumbar area is greatly relieved. Of course, additionally a lowered position of the pelvic support may be provided in the rest position. Furthermore, the inclination angle can be made adjustable. Depending on the individual preference, the pelvic support can then lie in the rest position in a common plane with the seat surface.
A particularly simple and at the same time highly effective embodiment is achieved when the pelvic support and the backrest are immovable relative to each other in the movement between the working position and the rest position. Thus, not only the backrest, but also the pelvic support unfolds a supporting effect to the user of the chair before. Thus, the invention overcomes the prejudice of the art, according to which a fixed angle between the seat and backrest is to be avoided in principle.
Furthermore, it is particularly useful if the backrest relative to the frame during movement between the working position and the rest position relative to each other is immovable, whereas, however, a adjustability of the backrest relative to the frame, for example, in sections for generating desired contouring, conceivable and useful is.
The frame has on the one hand a pelvic support, on the other hand, the backrest associated area.
Furthermore, a particularly simple embodiment of the present invention is achieved when the joint connecting the frame with the seat frame is designed as a hinge joint, so as to realize the desired trajectory with little design effort.
Furthermore, it proves to be advantageous in practice, when the support frame forms a stop for the movement of the backrest in the rest position, so that the backrest in the rest position, in which an increased load acts not only against the abutment, but in addition against the Stop, for example, positively abuts. In addition, the stop flush with the back of the seat back stabilizes the lateral force introduction.
Another, also particularly promising modification is created by the fact that the frame is guided laterally in a guide, in particular in a profile, wherein the frame in the first place counteracts an undesirable lateral displacement, ie transversely to the direction of movement of the seat. In addition, in this way, essential bearing elements can be arranged protected against external influences. In addition, the guide can also form a slide for the frame, so that the guide fulfills the function of the abutment and can account for a separate abutment.
A particularly advantageous embodiment of the present invention is achieved when the abutment can be fixed in different positions and so the distance of Abutment against the seat is adjustable. For this purpose, the abutment can be arranged on an adjustable flange, which can be adjusted without tools, for example, by means of an actuating means. Alternatively, the supporting element carrying the abutment can also be made adjustable relative to the support frame.
An essential advantage of the invention is also that the required according to the prior art complex adaptation to different body weights omitted according to the invention. Nevertheless, it proves to be desirable in practice, when the seat and / or backrest is movable against the restoring force of a spring element in the rest position, so that the seat automatically assumes its upright working position when relieved by the user. The spring element can for this purpose be designed as a simple coil spring and integrated into the sliding guide of the seat.
The abutment can be formed in a simple manner by a mere contact surface. Particularly useful, however, is a modification in which the abutment is designed as a sliding or roller bearings and thus at the same time allows a displacement of the frame on the abutment and a pivoting movement about the abutment. For this purpose, in addition to ball bearings also wheels or rollers, which can also be made profiled, as well as plain bearings, which may preferably have a friction-reducing coating, such as PTFE.
Furthermore, a further development is particularly promising, in which the seat frame carries a front seat cushion and the frame carries a immediately adjacent to the front seat cushion pelvic support of the pelvic support, so that an attractive and high-quality aesthetic appearance is achieved.
The seating furniture can be realized in a variety of forms. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the seating can be designed as a work chair, office chair, waiting chair, for example in the waiting area of an airport, resting chair or as a seat of a motor vehicle, aircraft or rail vehicle, as a dental chair in the medical and therapeutic field and also as a barber chair or the like be also pure recliner can be advantageously equipped with the motion kinematics according to the invention.
