- The sun protection system according to claim 1, characterized in that the secondary drive (22; 122) of the emergency gathering device (20; 120) is coupled to the drive shaft (16; 116) of the primary drive (14; 114) via a differential gear (30; 130).

- The sun protection system according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the secondary drive (22) of the emergency gathering device (20) is arranged outside of an upper rail (12) for accommodating the primary drive (14) and is coupled to the drive shaft (16) of the primary drive (14) via suitable drive elements (24, 26, 28).
