Description

DOMAINE TECHNIQUE GENERALGENERAL TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a multiple electrical connection device, comprising a base adapted to cooperate stably but removably with a base, and an upper portion having at least one electrical connection socket.

The present invention also relates to a corresponding base, and the assembly formed by the aforementioned device and base.

ETAT DE L'ARTSTATE OF THE ART

As shown in figure 1 we know by FR 2 823 912 a device 1 for multiple electrical connection, comprising on the one hand a base 13 adapted to cooperate removably with a base 2, and on the other hand an upper portion 11 having a plurality of electrical connection jacks 111.

This device allows a multiple electrical connection, for the connection and power supply of a plurality of electrical devices, such as computers in a meeting room.

Ce dispositif présente cependant des inconvénients. This device however has disadvantages.

The support base 2 of the device 1 is bulky and has ridges. In the case where the base is fixed to the ground, it is a risk of tripping or injury to a user.

In addition, the base 2 forms a recess for receiving the base 13 of the device. While the base is firmly held in the base, but a user may want to remove it more easily, to move the device.

Finally, the power supply of each socket 111 of the upper part 11 is effected via a wire 132 having a power supply plug 1321 intended to cooperate with another socket, associated with the sector for example. Thus, the wire 132 is an additional risk for a user tripping, and the 1321 is difficult to remove from its grip, so that it is not easy to move the device.

On connait de US 2 234 982 un dispositif selon le préambule de la revendication 1, et un socle selon le préambule de la revendication 7.We know US 2,234,982 a device according to the preamble of claim 1, and a base according to the preamble of claim 7.

This device and this base however have disadvantages.

Indeed, the device comprises an upper part, having an electrical connection socket, which is directly near a base fixed to the ground. Therefore, the power supply of a plug inserted into the connection socket generates the presence of a wire near the ground. This wire, secured to the plug in the socket, is a risk for a user tripping. In addition, the user must bend to remove the plug from the socket or insert the plug into the socket, so these operations are not easy.

The base of US 2,234,982 further comprises separate electrical connectors of magnetic connectors, thus having a complicated configuration with a large number of parts.

Par ailleurs, des dispositifs connus de US 3 808 577 et US 3 810 258 présentent les mêmes inconvénients que le dispositif de US 2 234 982 précité.Moreover, known devices of US 3,808,577 and US 3,810,258 have the same disadvantages as the device of US 2,234,982 supra.

Finally, a known base of US 3,808,577 has the same disadvantages as the base of US 2,234,982 aforesaid; while a known pedestal of US 3,810,258 does not present mobile electrical connectors between an electrical cooperation position on the one hand and a retracted position in which the connectors are retracted into the base, which represents a danger for the user.

PRESENTATION DE L'INVENTIONPRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The invention proposes to overcome at least one of these disadvantages.

A cet effet, on propose selon l'invention un dispositif de connexion électrique multiple selon la revendication 1.For this purpose, it is proposed according to the invention a multiple electrical connection device according to claim 1.

The invention is advantageously completed by the features of claims 2 to 6, taken alone or in any of their technically possible combination.

The present invention also relates to a base according to claim 7, and the assembly according to claim 8, formed by the aforementioned device and base.

L'invention présente de nombreux avantages. The invention has many advantages.

It allows the multiple connection of electrical devices for their power supply.

The power supply base does not represent any danger for the user: neither tripping nor electrocuting. The base has indeed mobile electrical connectors between an electrical cooperation position on the one hand and a retracted position in which the connectors are retracted into the base, which represents an additional safety against an electrocution of the user. . A plurality of pedestals can be placed in a floor of a room.

The device (portable or forming a wheeled table for example) can easily move from one pedestal to another in a room, and easily connect / disconnect as well, allowing great flexibility in organization of devices and devices. devices in the room, without the addition of wired extension cord, because of the positioning in the ground of the bases and / or the possibility of connecting a device to another similar device.

In addition, because the device according to the invention comprises an intermediate portion of generally elongate shape between the base and the upper part, to form an extension cord, the power supply of a plug inserted into the connection socket n ' does not result in the presence of a wire near the ground, and thus reduces the risk for a user of tripping. In addition, the user must not stoop to remove the plug from the socket or insert the plug into the socket, so these operations are easier.

Finally, the base includes electrical connectors which are also magnetic connectors, thus presenting a simplified configuration with a reduced number of parts.

DESCRIPTION DETAILLEEDETAILED DESCRIPTION

FIGS. 2A to 6 show schematically that a possible example of a multiple electrical connection device 1 according to the invention mainly comprises:
  • a base 13 adapted to cooperate removably with a base 2; and
  • an upper portion 11 having at least one socket 111 of electrical connection.

The base 2 is preferably protruded 24 relative to a surface 31 of a floor 3 in which the base 2 is placed. The base 2 has a shape complementary to the recess 133, mainly to ensure the safety of the electrical connection between the base and the base.

The complementarity of shape can also allow a centering of the base 13 on the base 2 and a good mechanical cooperation of the base 2 with the base 13.

The mechanical cooperation between the base 13 and the base 2 allows a good hold of the device on the ground 3 (the device is stable on the ground), but is however removable: the device can be removed from the base and easily be moved.

In order to improve the stability of the device on the base, provision is preferably made for a system 32 for maintaining the assembly formed by the device and the base.

Thus the base 13 (respectively the base 2) may comprise a flexible member 136 cooperating with another element 236 of the base 2 (respectively the base 13) to form a connection type "snap-pressure" stable, but removable (see figure 3A ). Magnetic elements arranged at the interface between the base and the base can also form the holding system 32 (see FIG. figure 3B ).

It is also understood that the lower the surface 135 of the base 13 has a large area, the more the device 1 is stable on the ground 3.

The projection 24 is not too high, and has a flat upper surface 242 and side slopes 241 inclined relative to the surface 31 of the ground, so that it does not represent a risk of tripping for a user.

The device comprises in the recess 133 electrical contacts 131 adapted to removably electromechanically cooperate with electrical connectors 22 of the base 2. The electrical connection established (see figure 3B ) between the connectors 22 and the contacts 131 is protected by the outer surface 134 of the base 13, and does not represent a danger of electrocution for a user.

The removable magnetic cooperation of the bodies allows, as explained below, the electromechanical cooperation removable contacts 131 and connectors 22.

The term "magnetic body" means any body having magnetic properties. The magnetic bodies can thus be permanent magnets, or other ferromagnetic bodies, for example.

La coopération magnétique peut ainsi être matérialisée par la coopération d'un corps ferromagnétique avec un aimant, ou par la coopération magnétique par polarité opposée d'aimants permanents."Magnetic cooperation" is understood to mean any cooperation using the magnetic properties of the pair formed on the one hand by the bodies of the base and on the other by the bodies of the base, to allow a magnetic and mechanical cooperation of the bodies and, subsequently, electromechanical cooperation of connectors and contacts. The magnetic cooperation can thus be materialized by the cooperation of a ferromagnetic body with a magnet, or by the magnetic cooperation by opposite polarity of permanent magnets.

It is repeated that the magnetic cooperation is removable, and a break in the electromechanical connection of the connectors and contacts causes the breaking of the magnetic connection between the bodies. This property allows the device to be easily moved and secure for the user, as explained below.

Magnetic bodies may be separate elements of the contacts and connectors, but are preferably confused with the contacts and the connectors. The contacts and the connectors are then made of materials having electrical conduction properties, but also magnetic properties.

The contacts 131 and the connectors 22 are preferably flat, which increases the removable nature of the cooperation, compared with a cooperation of a socket receiving a pin for example in a conventional socket.

The contacts 131 are electrically connected to the sockets 11 by an electrical connection 121 inside the device 1.

The connectors 22 are electrically connected to a power supply (for example the mains) by an electrical connection 21 inside the base 2.

The base 2 thus forms a removable power supply for each receptacle 111 of the upper part 11, via said contacts 131.

The base 2 is placed in the ground 3 and the link 21 is completely placed in the ground as well, so that there is no wire coming from the base 2 or the device 1 for the power supply of the sockets 111: the risk to stumble is greatly reduced for a user.

  • une base 13 adaptée pour coopérer de façon amovible avec un socle 2 ;
The Figures 2A to 4 schematically show an example of a first possible embodiment of a device 1 for multiple electrical connection, comprising:
  • a base 13 adapted to cooperate removably with a base 2;
  • an upper portion 11 having at least one socket 111 of electrical connection; and
  • an intermediate portion 12 of generally elongate shape between the base 13 and the upper portion 11, to form an extension cord.

The upper portion 11 comprises a handle 112, preferably on the upper surface of the upper portion 11 for easy access.

The upper part 11 preferably comprises a plurality of sockets 111, made in a lateral surface of the upper part 11, all around the upper part 11.

The sockets 111 are preferably "conventional" sockets, that is to say sockets having a recess and cells for receiving the pins of an electrical plug.

Comme le montrent les figures 2A et 2B, le dispositif 1 est portatif et déplaçable d'un socle 2 à un autre socle 2.As shown by Figures 2A and 2B , the device 1 is portable and movable from a base 2 to another base 2.

Le fonctionnement du dispositif est le suivant. The operation of the device is as follows.

A user wishing to have a multiple connection, for example in the middle of a room, for a meeting or a presentation, takes a device 1 by the handle 112, and comes to place it in front of a base 2 present in the room .

The part preferably comprises a plurality of pedestals 2, distributed according to the needs of the power supply.

In the retracted position (see figure 3A ), the connectors 22, connected for example to the power supply network via the link 21, are in the retracted position, in which position the connectors are retracted into the base 2, by means 23 of elastic return, for example springs .

Thus, in the retracted position, the connectors 22 do not flush with the upper surface 242 and do not present a danger of electrocution for the user.

It is understood that the contacts 131 do not represent a danger for the user, and can be flush with the surface of the recess 133.

L'utilisateur fait alors, en abaissant le dispositif 1 sur le socle 2, coopérer l'évidement 133 de la base 13 et la saillie 24 du socle 2.The user then, by lowering the device 1 on the base 2, cooperate the recess 133 of the base 13 and the projection 24 of the base 2.

The holding system 32 makes it possible to reinforce the stability of the cooperation.

Du fait du rapprochement des contacts 131 (formant également on le rappelle corps magnétiques) vers les connecteurs 22 (formant également on le rappelle corps magnétiques), il s'établit une coopération magnétique apte à vaincre la force de rappel générée par les moyens 23 sur les connecteurs 22 dans le socle 2.Due to the proximity of the contacts 131 (also forming it reminds magnetic bodies) to the connectors 22 (also forming it is recalled magnetic bodies), it establishes a magnetic cooperation able to overcome the restoring force generated by the means 23 on the connectors 22 in the base 2.

In the commitment position (see figure 3B ), the magnetic cooperation causes a displacement of the connectors 22 in the base 2 towards the surface 242, so that an electromechanical cooperation is established between the connectors 22 and the contacts 131.

The sockets 111 are therefore powered, and, as shown in FIG. figure 4 Tables 6, for example, can be positioned near the device so that electrical devices, such as computers 5, can be connected to the sockets by means of their plug 4.

When the user wishes to move the device, he takes again the handle 112 (see Figure 2B ) and raises the device (see Figure 2A ). The cooperation in the holding system 32 must then be broken.

The electromechanical cooperation between the contacts 131 and the connectors 22 is thus broken, and because of the distance of the contacts 131 vis-à-vis the connectors 22, the magnetic cooperation also. The means 23 thus recall the connectors 22 in the base 2, and the base is again safe for the user.

It is understood that the arrangement of the tables 6 around the device and in the room in which the bases are placed is very flexible, and can at any time be easily changed.

It is understood that the shape of the device in the figures is illustrative, and that any external shape is possible for the device.

The figures 5 and 6 show a variant forming a second possible embodiment.

  • une base 13 adaptée pour coopérer de façon amovible avec un socle 2 ;
As previously, the device 1 of multiple electrical connection, comprises:
  • a base 13 adapted to cooperate removably with a base 2;
  • an upper portion 11 having at least one socket 111 of electrical connection; and
  • an intermediate portion 12 of generally elongate shape between the base 13 and the upper part 11.

Elements similar to the first embodiment are not repeated in detail, for the sake of clarity and brevity.

The main difference is that the device 1 forms a table having a work plane 114 and at least one foot 125.

Le plan 114 de travail de la table est formé par la partie supérieure 11, et le pied 125 de la table est préférentiellement formé par la partie intermédiaire et comporte la base 13.The work plane 114 of the table is formed by the upper part 11, and the foot 125 of the table is preferably formed by the intermediate part and comprises the base 13.

Preferably, the foot 125 comprises wheels 122 for moving the device.

For this purpose, the rollers 122 are for example carried by a bar 123 extending transversely from the intermediate portion 12 to increase the stability of the table on the floor 3.

La base 13 s'étend préférentiellement longitudinalement à partir de la partie intermédiaire 12.The base 13 preferably extends longitudinally from the intermediate portion 12.

Preferably, the base 13 is movable in the foot 125 - preferentially formed by the intermediate portion 12 - between on the one hand an engagement position with the base 2 - "low" position of the base - and on the other hand a position disengaged from the base 2 - "high" position of the base.

Such mobility is possible thanks for example to a sliding of the base 13 in the intermediate portion 12, by manual actuation.

Another possibility for the cooperation of the base and the base 2 is that the base 13 is fixed relative to the intermediate portion 12, but the casters 122 are movable on the foot 125 between on the one hand a position of engagement of the base 13 with the base 2 ("low" position of the wheels) and secondly a disengaged position of the base of the base 2 ("high" position of the wheels).

As in the first embodiment, it is possible to provide a system for holding the base on the base.

It is understood that the invention also applies to a table with four individual feet, instead of two T-shaped feet. The device is then attached to a foot or located independently of a foot. The operating principle previously described, however, is identical.

The operation of the base is identical to the operation described with reference to the first embodiment, and is not repeated here, for the sake of clarity and brevity.

As before, an internal link 121 connects the contacts 131 to the jacks 111, for example located on the plane 114, for easy access. The jacks 111 are for example conventional jacks.

A user can therefore connect several electrical devices, such as computers placed on the plane 114 in the jacks 111, and easily move the table, thanks to the removable nature of the cooperation between the base 13 and the base 2, as well as castors 122.

According to an advantageous variant, the device further comprises at least one socket 113 positioned on the upper part 11 so that it can cooperate with a corresponding plug 1113 of another similar device 1.

As explained below, the main object of the socket 113 is to form an electrical relay of a table to another similar table, for the supply of the sockets 111 of the similar table, via cooperation with the plug 1113.

A cet effet, la prise 113 est bien entendu également reliée à la base 13 par la liaison 121.For this purpose, the socket 113 is of course also connected to the base 13 by the link 121.

The socket 113 forms a recess, to ensure the safety of the user in the case where the base of the table is connected to the sector for example.

For easy cooperation, the socket 113 is for example located (see figure 5 ) for example :
  • in the median position of the long anterior side 1141 of the plane 114, and / or
  • in left lateral position on the small left side 1142.

A socket 113 in the left lateral position can cooperate with a plug 1113 located, at the same level, in the right lateral position of a similar table: the tables are then side by side (see "case a" of the figure 6 ).

De même, une prise 113 en position médiane du grand côté antérieur peut coopérer avec une fiche 1113 située en position médiane du grand côté antérieur d'une table similaire : les tables sont alors face à face de façon antisymétrique (voir « cas b » de la figure 6).Similarly, a socket 113 in the median position of the long anterior side can cooperate with a plug 1113 located in the middle position of the large front side of a similar table: the tables are then face to face antisymmetrically (see "case b" of the figure 6 ).

Enfin, une prise 113 en position médiane du grand côté antérieur peut coopérer avec une fiche 1113 située en position latérale droite d'une table similaire : les tables sont alors disposées en L (voir « cas c » de la figure 6).Finally, a socket 113 in the middle position of the long anterior side can cooperate with a plug 1113 located in the right lateral position of a similar table: the tables are then arranged in L (see "case c" of the figure 6 ).

It will be understood that each table may comprise several jacks 113 and / or several cards 1113 (see cases b and c of FIG. figure 6 ).

The tables can be easily grouped according to several different configurations, depending on the needs of the user, while having access to a multiple electrical connection, without the use of wired extension cord.

Preferably, each socket 113 includes retractable connectors, and each plug 1113 has corresponding contacts.

Thus, each plug / plug uses electrical connectors / contacts adapted to electrically cooperate with each other so removable thanks to an association with magnetic bodies adapted to magnetically cooperate detachably.

Préférentiellement, les connecteurs/contacts forment également les corps magnétiques.Preferably, the connectors / contacts also form the magnetic bodies.

In the case of proximity of two tables for the cooperation of the plugs / plugs, the magnetic cooperation of the connectors / contacts makes it possible to overcome a restoring force of the electrical connectors in the socket, and the electromechanical cooperation is established. All connected tables have a power supply.

When the tables are separated, the electromechanical cooperation is broken, and the connectors enter the socket, the safety of the user being then ensured.
