Il est à noter que le positionnement des lampes et l'inclinaison des supports 21 , 22 du plateau 19 assurent un chauffage homogène dans les zones dont la forme doit être adaptée, qui est notamment la zone de voûte plantaire. Après ramollissement de la première couche 5, les semelles sont retirées du dispositif et sont positionnées soit dans les chaussures de l'utilisateur soit sur un support de moulage avant conformation par l'utilisateur des deux semelles à la forme de ses pieds, par appui des pieds sur les semelles qui sont dans un état partiellement malléable. Après refroidissement, les semelles conservent la forme qui leur a été donnée.
Comme il va de soi, l'invention ne se limite pas aux seules formes d'exécution de cette semelle de chaussure et du dispositif permettant la mise en forme de cette semelle, décrites ci-dessus à titre d'exemple, mais elle embrasse au contraire toutes les variantes.
