Dies kann insbesondere deshalb problematisch sein, da die Schnapphaken des Halteteils angeformt und entsprechend dünn ausgeführt sind, um überhaupt eine Verformung zu gewährleisten. Bei unsachgemäßer Handhabung kann dies jedoch zum Bruch des Schnapphakens und damit zur Unbrauchbarkeit des Halteteils führen. Dies gilt insbesondere dann, wenn das eingesetzte Material vergleichsweise spröde ist, wie dies beispielsweise für PS gilt. Bei ihrer Verwendung und der Verschiebung werden die Schnapphaken erneut belastet.
