Claims (12)
- Device for changing the height of rolls (1) in rolling stands, with a wedge adjusting device (7) for bringing the lower work roll into line with a rolling line, which device comprises an adjusting wedge (8), which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the rolls and a displacing device (9), which is connected to the adjusting wedge, and with a roll changing device (5) for changing the rolls, which device can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the rolls, wherein the rolls are supported at the ends in roll chocks (4) and are guided with adjustable height in stand uprights (3a, 3b) arranged in parallel, and each of the two roll chocks (4) is supported in the stand upright by means of an upper pressure plate (19), the adjusting wedge (8) and a lower pressure plate (14), characterized in that the adjusting wedge (8) has a continuously planar wedge surface area (12a, 12b), in that the wedge adjusting device (7) comprises a clamping device (16) for fixing the adjusting wedge (8), and the upper pressure plate (19) is vertically and horizontally guided in the roll changing device (5).
- Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the displacing device (9) for actuating the adjusting wedge (8) is formed by a pressure-medium cylinder (10) and the clamping device (16) for fixing the adjusting wedge (8) acts on a piston rod of the pressure-medium cylinder (10).
- Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the displacing device (9) or the pressure-medium cylinder (10) is assigned a device for linear displacement measurement.
- Device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the adjusting wedge (8) has two wedge surface areas (12a, 12b) inclined in relation to a horizontal plane, which are arranged at a horizontal distance from the two roll chocks (4) and interact with mating wedge surface areas (13a, 13b) on the lower pressure plates (14).
- Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the wedge surface areas (12a, 12b) on the adjusting wedge (8) are inclined in relation to the horizontal plane at an angle which lies in the range of the self-locking of the wedge connection.
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the adjusting wedge (8) is horizontally guided on guide bars (18) and these guide bars (18) are fastened to the fixed lower pressure plates (14).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the upper pressure plate (19) is fitted in a recess (21) in the roll changing device (5) and has on opposite sides outwardly extending guide lugs (22) or inwardly extending guide channels, each guide lug (22) or guide channel being guided with three vertical guiding surface areas (22a, 22b, 22c) on three opposite vertical guide bars (23a, 23b, 23c) in the roll changing device (5).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the roll changing device (5) has a number of holding hooks (24), which protrude into the recess (21) in the roll changing device (5), engage under the upper pressure plate (19) and, when one adjusting wedge (8) is drawn back into the roll changing position, support the upper pressure plate (19).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the upper pressure plate (19) has a number of holding hooks (24), which reach over the recess (21) in the roll changing device (5) and, when one adjusting wedge (8) is drawn back into the roll changing position, rest on the roll changing device (5).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, when one adjusting wedge (8) is drawn back into the roll changing position, the roll chocks (4) rest on the roll changing device (5) and there is a gap (26) between the upper pressure plate (19) and the adjusting wedge (8) and between the upper pressure plate (19) and the roll chock (4).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, for fixing its installation position, the roll changing device is assigned a locking device in the stand upright.
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the roll changing device (5) is assigned wheelsets (28), which are installed in a frame (29) of the roll changing device (5) such that they lie inside it.
