Abstract
Description
The invention relates to cut protection gloves made of a textile material with a cut protection fiber.
Such cut protection gloves can protect the user from cuts of all kinds, for example, when handling sharp-edged objects, tools, knives or other blades. The protection against cuts is achieved by incorporating special cut protection fibers in the textile material from which the glove is made.
In order to provide effective cut protection, have the cut protection fibers and the textile materials made therefrom a number of properties that preclude a high level of comfort of cut protection gloves made of these materials. These include in particular a high rigidity, which can limit the fit, dexterity and tactility, as well as compared to other textile materials significantly reduced moisture absorption capacity, which can lead to increased sweating and unfavorable microclimate in the gloves. Especially with the use of filament yarns, the skin sensor technology also deteriorates because textile materials made from such yarns have a relatively smooth and closed surface structure which is closer to the skin than other textiles having a more open structure with protruding small fibers. Such cut protection gloves can thus increasingly stick to sweaty skin.
In connection with the increased formation of perspiration in synthetic fiber gloves, there may also be problems with bacterial contamination and the formation of unpleasant odors.
Especially for cut-resistant gloves for the professional sector, which often have to be worn over longer periods of time, high wearing comfort is of great importance. Inadequate comfort properties can even lead to safety risks in practical use, since in this case users tend to remove the cut-resistant gloves temporarily.
On this basis, it is the object of the invention to provide a cut protection glove made of a textile material with a cut protection fiber available, which can be easily manufactured and has improved comfort properties.
This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the subclaims.
The cut protection glove according to the invention of a textile material with a cut protection fiber is characterized in that the textile material has a bamboo fiber. The textile material can be any material constructed from fibers, for example a knitted fabric, knitted fabric or tissue, colloquially also referred to by the generic term "fabric". The textile material has a cut protection fiber, ie a fiber with a higher cut resistance compared to ordinary fiber materials. The textile material and the cut protection fiber are processed into a single textile material. It can also be combined different cut protection fibers in the textile material. The proportion of cut protection fibers on the textile material is so high that the textile material also has an increased cut resistance. In addition, the textile material has a bamboo fiber. The cut protection fiber and the bamboo fiber are thus processed into a single textile material. The material may also have other fibers. It is also possible that the cut protection glove has another textile material, for example in the form of a reinforcement or padding.
Bamboo fibers are cellulose fibers derived from the bamboo plant. The bamboo fibers are known as bast fibers as well as regenerated fibers. Preferably, a bamboo regenerated fiber is used. These fibers are very soft and have particularly favorable grip properties, which are comparable to those of viscose or silk. The fibers have a high-quality shine and are particularly durable and resistant to abrasion. In addition, the fibers are very light. Due to their special microstructure, the bamboo fibers also have a particularly high moisture absorption capacity and are able to release the once-absorbed moisture very quickly. By combining the bamboo fibers with the cut protection fibers into a single textile material, a cut protection glove made of this material also has substantially improved comfort properties. Due to the moisture absorption capacity, the glove does not feel damp even with relatively heavy sweating. At the same time a pleasant cooling effect is achieved by the rapid release of the moisture absorbed by the textile material, which counteracts excessive sweating. Due to the natural antibacterial properties of bamboo plants, these are usually grown without pesticides, and it can be dispensed with a chemical antibacterial finish of the fibers. The risk of allergies or skin irritation is significantly reduced. These favorable antibacterial properties are retained even after repeated washing.
Another advantage of combining a cut protection fiber with a bamboo fiber into a single textile material is that the manufacture of the gloves made much easier from this material, because a bonding or sewing different material layers is not required.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the textile material has a cut protection yarn with the cut protection fiber and a bamboo yarn with the bamboo fiber. Thus, the cut protection and bamboo fibers are each processed into a separate yarn, from which the textile material is produced for example by knitting, weaving or knitting. The use of different yarns allows a particularly simple and targeted combination of the two fibers with conventional processing techniques, such as knitting machines. In this case, the composition of the textile material can be influenced by appropriate processing of the two yarns, so that, for example, the proportion of cut protection fibers in the particularly stressed areas of the cut protection glove is increased compared to less stressed areas.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the inside of the cut protection glove is formed by the bamboo yarn. It is therefore intended to process the two yarns together to form the textile material so that the material facing the skin is essentially the bamboo yarn. The advantageous comfort properties of the bamboo yarn, in particular the pleasant feeling on the skin, are thereby optimally utilized. Preferably, the outside of the cut protection glove is essentially formed by the cut protection yarn or has an increased proportion of this yarn.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the Bambusgam and the cut protection yarn form a two-ply knit. It is provided that an inner layer of the knitted fabric of the bamboo yarn and an outer layer are formed by the cut protection yarn. Both yarns are combined in the manufacture of the knit fabric and are intertwined. By a suitable knitting technique is a single textile material with the advantageous, two-layered structure, a so-called "double-face structure" produced.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the Bambusgam forms a plating. The cladding is located on the inside of the cut protection glove.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the cut protection fiber is processed in a core-sheath yarn. Thereby, the properties of the cut protection yarn formed by the core-sheath yarn itself can be improved.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the core of the core-sheath yarn is made of metal or of a glass fiber. In this case, in particular, the core of the core-sheath yarn contributes to increased cut resistance.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the sheath of the core-sheath yarn consists of polyester, polyamide, high-strength polyethylene, aramid or cellulose yarn. Thus, depending on the choice of material, the sheath of the core-sheath yarn can contribute to increased cut resistance, for example when using aramid, or the sheath can improve the comfort properties of the cut protection yarn, for example by wrapping it with cellulose yarn.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the sheath of the core-sheath yarn is formed by the bamboo fiber. In this case, the advantageous properties of the bamboo fiber can be integrated into the cut protection yarn. Thus, it is possible to make the textile fabric from a single yarn containing both the cut protection fiber and the bamboo fiber. However, it is also possible, in addition to a bamboo fiber-containing core-sheath yarn having increased cut resistance, to further bamboo fibers or a bamboo yarn made from these to process the textile material. There are thus many possibilities for adapting the properties of the textile material, in particular the compromise between optimum wearing comfort and optimum cut-resistant properties, to the respective requirements.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the textile material has a coating on the outside. The coating preferably consists of nitrile, chloroprene or polyurethane. Through the coating, the cut protection glove can be given additional protective properties, for example, impermeability to liquids and resistance to chemicals. The nitrile coating is liquid-tight and can completely or partially cover the cut protection glove. Preferably, only the palm, the fingers and the thumb are provided with the coating, while the back of the hand remains uncoated. As a result, the breathability of the cut protection glove is at least partially preserved.
