Claims (7)
- A window, in particular a skylight (1), having a casement frame (2) pivotable relative a surrounding frame (4) and having at least one positioning aid (6),
a hinge arm (8) articulated at a first end (10) on the casement frame (2) and displaceable at its second end (12) in one direction as well as the opposite direction along the surrounding frame (4) via a sliding block (14) in a sliding cassette (16), wherein at least one brake element (18) is operatively connected to said sliding cassette (16) and is connected to the sliding block (14) by means of at least one connecting element (22),
characterized in that
the brake element (18) is arranged on an outer wall (20) of the sliding cassette (16) and operatively connected to same. - The skylight according to claim 1, characterized in that
the outer wall (20) of the sliding cassette (16) comprises a braking surface, in particular a replaceable braking surface. - The skylight according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that
the brake element (18) exhibits an outer form complementary, in particular concave, to the outer wall (20) of the sliding cassette (16). - The skylight according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting element (22) is configured as a control element so as to enable an adjustable braking force between the brake element (18) and the outer wall (20).
- The skylight according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting element (22) is displaceable over an elongated hole (26) in the outer wall (20) of the sliding cassette (16) with the sliding block (14).
- The skylight according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting element (22) comprises a quick clamping device so as shift between a locking position, in which a braking force between the braking element (18) and the outer wall (20) prevents the window (1) from pivoting, and a pivot position in which the braking force allows the window (1) to pivot.
- The skylight according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the positioning aid (14) comprises a force element (24), in particular a linear spring element, operatively connected to the sliding block (14) to support a sliding of the sliding block (14) in the sliding cassette (16).
