In Fig. 1 ist eine erfindungsgemäße Tintenpatrone 1 in einer Schrägansicht dargestellt. Die Tintenpatrone 1 weist ein Gehäuse 2 auf, welches aus einem ersten Abschnitt 3, einem zweiten Abschnitt 4 sowie einem dritten Abschnitt 5 gebildet ist. Der erste Abschnitt 3 bildet dabei einen Tintenbehälter 6 und der dritte Abschnitt 5 einen Deckel 7, welcher den im ersten Abschnitt 3 angeordneten Tintenbehälter 6 verschließt. An der Unterseite des Tintenbehälters 6 befindet sich eine Ausnehmung 8. Die Ausnehmung 8 bildet zusammen mit einem Stutzen 9 und einem als Rastnase ausgebildeten Rastmittel 10 das Befestigungsmittel 11 zur Befestigung der Tintenpatrone 1 in einem nicht dargestellten Tintenaufzeichnungsgerät. Ein solches Tintenstrahlaufzeichnungsgerät kann beispielsweise ein Tintenstrahldrucker sein. Der zweite Abschnitt 4 ist durch ein Verbindungsmittel 12, das als nutförmige Längsführung ausgebildet ist, mit dem Tintenbehälter 6 verbunden. Im eingesetzten Zustand wird im Tintenbehälter 6 vorgehaltene und nicht näher dargestellte Tinte über den Stutzen 9 hin zu einem ebenfalls nicht dargestellten Druckkopf des Tintenaufzeichnungsgerätes geleitet. Der zweite Abschnitt 4 kann beispielsweise in einer Farbe ausgeführt sein, der der Codierung einer Funktionseinrichtung 13 entspricht.In Fig. 1 an ink cartridge 1 according to the invention is shown in an oblique view. Besonders gut erkennbar ist in dieser Ansicht, das zwischen dem zweiten Abschnitt 4 und dem Gehäuse 2 angeordnete Verbindungsmittel 12, welches durch komplementär geformte längliche Profilstücke an den jeweiligen ersten und zweiten Abschnitten 3, 4 gebildet wird. Das Verbindungsmittel 12 bildet eine Längsführung, welche die Abschnitte 3 und 4 nahezu spielfrei zueinander führt. Nur die Bewegung in Längsrichtung des Verbindungsmittels 12 ist somit noch möglich. Zusätzlich ist am Gehäuse 2 an der Unterseite der Längsführung 12 eine Anschlagfläche 15 vorgesehen, an welcher der zweite Abschnitt 4 beim Einstecken in die Längsführung des Verbindungsmittels 12 zur Anlage kommt. Hierdurch ist zusätzlich eine sehr exakte Positionierung des zweiten Abschnitts 4 relativ zum Gehäuse 2 des ersten Abschnittes in Längsrichtung möglich. Bei Bedarf können auch zwischen dem ersten Abschnitt 3 und dem zweiten Abschnitt 4 noch Rastmittel 10 vorgesehen werden, welche den zweiten Abschnitt 4 in der so erreichten Position fixieren, und ein versehentliches Herausrutschen aus der Längsführung 12 verhindern, solange die Rastmittel 10 nicht gelöst werden.In Fig. 2 is the ink cartridge 1 after Fig. 1 shown again in an exploded view. In Fig. 3 ist nun eine erfindungsgemäße Tintenpatrone 1 schematisch in einer Seitenansicht dargestellt. Bei der hier gezeigten Tintenpatrone 1 handelt es sich um eine ähnlich aufgebaute Tintenpatrone 1, wie sie zuvor im Zusammenhang mit den Figuren 1 und 2 beschrieben wurde. Besonders gut erkennbar ist hierbei die Funktionsweise der Signalübertragung. Das Signal 21 wird zunächst von einem lichtemittierenden Bauteil 16 der Funktionseinrichtung 13 erzeugt und in Richtung des Reflektors 22 des Übertragungsmittels 14 abgestrahlt. Dort wird das Signal 21 reflektiert und in horizontaler Richtung von der Tintenpatrone 1 weggeleitet. Die Richtung in welche das Signal 21 von der Tintenpatrone 1 weggeleitet wird, entspricht dabei der Gesetzmäßigkeit bei optischen Reflektionen, wonach der Einfallswinkel des Signals 21 auf den Reflektor des Übertragungsmittels 14 gleich dem Ausfallswinkel ist. Dies in Bezug zur Reflektionsfläche des Reflektors gesetzt bedeutet, dass bei einer vertikalen Anstrahlung der Reflektionsfläche des Übertragungsmittels 14, das unter 45 Grad zur Vertikalen ausgerichtet ist, eine horizontale Abstrahlung nach links erreicht wird. Die Gesamtumlenkung durch das Übertragungsmittel 14 beträgt damit 90°. Bei der vorliegend gezeigten Ausführungsform dienen die elektrischen Kontakte 17 zur Bereitstellung von Energie in elektrischer Form für den Betrieb der elektrischen Funktionseinrichtung 13. Claims (10)

  1. Ink cartridge (1) having a housing (2) and at least one ink container (6), wherein the ink cartridge (1) has fixing means (11) for detachable fixing to ink recording devices, and having at least one functional device (13) for generating electromagnetic signals (21), wherein the functional device is able to generate at least one signal (21) as a function of the condition of the ink container (6), wherein the functional device (13) has electronic components and electric connecting means (17), and having a transmission means (14) connected thereto, which transmits the at least one signal (21) between a first end (18) on the functional device (13) and a second end (20), which is spaced apart from the first end, wherein the transmission medium used is air and the transmission means (14) is composed of two paths through air and at least one reflector (22) for electromagnetic waves, in particular for light waves, wherein the reflector (22) is arranged to deflect the signal (21) between the first and the second end (18, 20).
  2. Ink cartridge (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the functional device (13) is suitable for processing electromagnetic signals (21).
  3. Ink cartridge (1) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the housing (2) comprises at least two parts, wherein the functional device (13) is arranged in a second housing section (4) of the housing (2), which is detachably connected by connecting means (12) to a first housing section (3) of the housing (2).

  8. Ink cartridge (1) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the functional device (13) has at least one light-emitting component (16) for generating a signal (21).
  9. Ink cartridge (1) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the functional device (13) has means for the inductive supply of energy.
  10. Ink cartridge (1) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the second end (20) of the transmission means (14) is formed as a display device or is connected directly or indirectly to a display device.
