Definitions
- the invention relates to a heat exchanger, in particular a condenser for air conditioning systems of motor vehicles.
- Heat exchangers in particular motor vehicle condensers, are all-aluminum heat exchangers which are brazed in a brazing furnace.
- the capacitors For connection to a refrigerant circuit, the capacitors have connection flanges, which are also connected by soldering to one or both headers.
- a capacitor requires a holder so that it can be mounted in the vehicle. These holders are connected by soldering to the manifolds.
- the capacitor should be soldered with all parts in a single pass in the soldering oven, with as few or no tools to be used as soldering. Rather, it is the goal of an economic production that all parts fix themselves and can be soldered without further clamping means.
- a bar is provided for the capacitor as a holder, which is indirectly attached to the manifold, d. H. by means of a connection flange and an intermediate holder, both of which are each soldered to the manifold.
- the strip is thus supported twice, preferably at the top and at the bottom of the manifold and thus provides a stable and flexible attachment of the capacitor, because the individual attachment points can be provided at any point on the bar, ie top, bottom and / or in the middle.
- An attachment point is quasi defined by the position of the connection flange, the other attachment point for the intermediate holder is however freely selectable.
- the bar is arranged parallel to the manifold and has a variable length, which can be selected depending on the installation requirements, ie, longer or shorter than the manifold or the same.
- suitable fasteners for. B. holes provided with the corresponding fasteners on the vehicle side or on a vehicle mounted in the other heat exchanger, z. B. cooperate with a coolant cooler.
- the connection flange and the intermediate holder on longitudinal slots, ie extending in the longitudinal direction of the manifold, in which the strip is inserted similar to a spring / groove connection, with a slight press fit.
- connection flange and the intermediate holder itself preferably have a profile piece according to the above-mentioned earlier patent application of the applicant and are thus fixed relative to the manifold.
- the strip is preferably designed as an angle profile and has a leg, which is inserted into the longitudinal slots of connecting flange and intermediate holder. This also achieves a stable and flexible attachment of the capacitor.
- the intermediate holder can also be designed as a further connecting flange, namely, if not only a connecting flange for the capacitor, d. H. a double flange, but two individual flanges find use. These then both act as intermediate holders and pick up the strip in their longitudinal slots.
- a connecting flange for the capacitor d. H. a double flange, but two individual flanges find use.
- the strip (7) has one, two or a plurality of projections and / or extensions, on which fastening means, in particular bores are arranged. Particularly preferably, the projections and / or extensions project from the strip (7) in the direction of the block (2).
- Fig. 1 shows one half of a Käfteffenkondensators 1, as it is used in air conditioning systems of motor vehicles.
- the refrigerant condenser 1 consists of a block 2, which is constructed from not shown ribs and tubes, preferably flat tubes and corrugated fins. The ends of the flat tubes open into a manifold 3, soft side of the block 2 is arranged. A similar manifold is arranged on the other, not shown side of the block 2 and connected to the pipe ends.
- a connection flange 4 is fixed, which has two openings 4a, 4b for connection to a refrigerant circuit, not shown, of an automotive air conditioning system.
- Refrigerant connecting pipes 5, 6 connect the connecting flange 4 with the interior of the collecting tube 3.
- the refrigerant thus passes through the inlet opening 4a and the connecting pipe 5 in an upper chamber of the collecting tube 3, flows meandering through the condenser and leaves the condenser via the connecting pipe 6 and the outlet opening 4b.
- Parallel to the manifold 3 a from top to bottom continuous, trained as a bar 7 holder is arranged, which is attached on the one hand to the connecting flange 4 and on the other hand to an intermediate holder 8.
- the strip 7 is used to attach the capacitor 1 in the vehicle or at another heat exchanger, eg. B. a coolant radiator in the motor vehicle.
- a similar holder may be provided, which is fastened with two intermediate holders, similar to the intermediate holder 8, on the collecting pipe, not shown.
- Fig. 2 shows an upper corner cutout of the capacitor 1 with the connection flange 4, which has a longitudinal slot 9 laterally.
- the strip 7 is formed as an angle profile, wherein a first leg 7a is aligned approximately parallel to the end face of the block 2, while a second leg 7b is bent at right angles to the first leg 7a.
- the leg 7b has a thickness which corresponds to the width of the slot 9, and is received by the slot 9.
- Fig. 3 shows the clipping according to Fig. 2 as an exploded view, again using like reference numerals.
- the connection flange 4 is preferably designed as an extrusion part, as described in the aforementioned prior art.
- the longitudinal slot 9 thus extends in the extrusion direction.
- the connection flange 4 also has a U-shaped profile piece 10, which comprises the collection tube 3, as described in the applicant's earlier patent application (Applicant's: 03-BL-07), to which reference is expressly made.
- the leg 7b of the profile strip 7 has, in the region of the connecting flange 4 or its longitudinal slot 9, a projecting tab 7c, which can be inserted into the slot 9. This insertion preferably takes place with a slight clamping, so that the strip 7 can be fixed relative to the connecting flange 4.
- the connection flange 4, however, can be fixed via the profile piece 10 with respect to the manifold 3.
- Fig. 4 shows a lower section of the condenser 1 with the lower end of Käfteschan gleichrohres 6 for the escaping refrigerant.
- the intermediate holder 8 is fixed, that is fixed in an analogous manner to the collecting pipe 3, as described above for the connecting flange 4.
- the intermediate holder 8 has - similar to the connecting flange 4 - a longitudinal slot 11, which receives a attached to the leg 7b lobe 7d.

- the strip 7 is thus secured at two points relative to the collecting tube 3, namely via the connecting flange 4 and the intermediate holder 3.
- the assembly is as simple as a spring / groove connection.
- the bar can also be secured by means of two connecting flanges, namely, if the connecting flange 4 are not formed as a double, but single flange and the intermediate holder 8 as a further single flange.
- Fig. 5 shows a heat exchanger, in particular refrigerant condenser 11, as it is used in air conditioning systems of motor vehicles.
- the refrigerant condenser 11 consists of a block 12, which is constructed of not shown ribs and tubes, preferably flat tubes and corrugated fins. The ends of the flat tubes open into manifolds 13, which are arranged laterally of the block 12.
- a manifold 14 is a Attached flange 14, which has not shown openings for connection to a refrigerant circuit, not shown, of an automotive air conditioning system.
- Partially parallel to the headers 13 are arranged from top to bottom, trained as strips 17 holder, which are attached on the one hand to the connection flange 14 and an upper intermediate holder 20 and on the other hand to an intermediate holder 18 and 19 respectively.
- the strips 17 are used to attach the capacitor 11 in the vehicle or at another heat exchanger, eg. B. a coolant radiator in the motor vehicle.
- the strips 17 each have two extensions 22, on which holes 23 are arranged, which protrude from the strips 17 in the direction of the block 12, so that the heat exchanger 11 can be attached to attachment points, which have a smaller distance from each other than the Collecting pipes 13.
- Fig. 5 shows that the holes outside a projection of the block 12 are arranged in the direction of a flow direction of a fluid flowing around the tubes.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a heat exchanger, in particular a condenser for air conditioning systems of motor vehicles.
Heat exchangers, in particular motor vehicle condensers, are all-aluminum heat exchangers which are brazed in a brazing furnace. Based on this state of the art of the Applicant, it is an object of the invention to make the mounting options for a heat exchanger of the type mentioned more flexible, d. H. adapt flexibly to different installation conditions in the vehicle.
This object is solved by the features of
Further advantageous embodiments will be apparent from the dependent claims. Thereafter, the bar is arranged parallel to the manifold and has a variable length, which can be selected depending on the installation requirements, ie, longer or shorter than the manifold or the same. This achieves the advantage of further flexibility in the installation of the capacitor in the vehicle. Furthermore, suitable fasteners, for. B. holes provided with the corresponding fasteners on the vehicle side or on a vehicle mounted in the other heat exchanger, z. B. cooperate with a coolant cooler. Preferably, the connection flange and the intermediate holder on longitudinal slots, ie extending in the longitudinal direction of the manifold, in which the strip is inserted, similar to a spring / groove connection, with a slight press fit. As a result, the bar is fixed relative to the connection flange and the intermediate holder for the soldering process. Connecting flange and intermediate holder itself preferably have a profile piece according to the above-mentioned earlier patent application of the applicant and are thus fixed relative to the manifold.
The strip is preferably designed as an angle profile and has a leg, which is inserted into the longitudinal slots of connecting flange and intermediate holder. This also achieves a stable and flexible attachment of the capacitor.
Advantageously, the intermediate holder can also be designed as a further connecting flange, namely, if not only a connecting flange for the capacitor, d. H. a double flange, but two individual flanges find use. These then both act as intermediate holders and pick up the strip in their longitudinal slots. Thus, the possibility of self-fixing is given for all configurations, so that the entire capacitor can be soldered in the soldering oven essentially without further aids (clamping means).
According to a preferred embodiment, the strip (7) has one, two or a plurality of projections and / or extensions, on which fastening means, in particular bores are arranged. Particularly preferably, the projections and / or extensions project from the strip (7) in the direction of the block (2).
