Abstract

Description

A disadvantage, however, is considered that the cutlery to be washed largely unsorted and can only be stored indiscriminately flat for rinsing in the cutlery basket. A better rinsing and drying result is given by dishwashers in which a cutlery basket is arranged to be pulled out of the washing compartment.

By providing a cutlery receptacle in the cutlery basket, a sorted classification of the individual cutlery pieces is possible, by which the cleaning result can be increased while saving energy.

Such Spülgutträger is from the EP 0 186 157 B1 known. The proposed cutlery shots in the form of cutlery holders and cutlery supports allow a scattered and each lying on the side of the cutlery pieces. From the WO 03/055375 A1 a cutlery basket for substantially horizontally receiving cutlery for use in a dishwasher with a bottom portion for supporting the cutlery parts is known. In this case, at least one pivot joint is arranged and formed in the bottom region such that at least one subregion of the bottom region is pivotable relative to a remaining region of the bottom.

From the JP 2001 190481 A a dish rack is known which has inclined relative to the horizontal inclined bearing surfaces for items to be washed.

The invention has for its object to provide a Spülgutträger that is universally applicable, allows easy and convenient sorting of cutlery and other items to be washed while delivering an excellent rinsing and drying results.

The object is achieved by a Spülgutträger with the features of claim 1 and a dishwasher with the features of claim 10.

In its second receiving area 15, the washware carrier 10 is adapted to accommodate smaller wash items, such as cups, low glasses, dessert bowls, or alternatively cutlery in the transverse or longitudinal direction, long knives, cooking spoons, etc. For this purpose, the second receiving area 15 is provided for example with two Spülguthaltern 30, each of which has a relative to the horizontal inclined support surface 34. The Spülgutträger invention allows universal usability and ensures optimal drying of the items to be washed. Claims (12)

1. Support (10) for items to be washed for a dishwasher comprising

   - a first receiving region (14) which is constructed as a cutlery receptacle (21) and on which items of cutlery (14) can be placed lying down,

   - a second receiving region (15) for items (40, 41) to be washed, with at least one
   holder (30) for items to be washed,
   characterised in that

   - the at least one holder (30) for items to be washed has a support surface (34), which is inclined or inclinable relative to the horizontal, for the items (40, 41) to be washed and

   - the first receiving region (14) and the second receiving region (15) lie substantially in a horizontal plane.
2. Support for items to be washed according to claim 1, characterised in that the first receiving region (14) comprises cutlery receptacles in the form of cutlery holders and cutlery rests for separate reception of items of cutlery preferably each lying on its side, wherein the receiving region (14) is preferably substantially horizontal.
