Definitions
- the invention relates to a cap with a by opening a telescopic part along a closure central axis openable and closable, a mouth portion having outlet nozzle, the telescopic part is externally guided on the nozzle displaceable, the closure position is locked and a on the telescopic part by means of flow passages leaving webs molded closure plug is provided.
- Such caps which may be screwed or bounced on an associated container or otherwise connected to the container, are known in various embodiments. It is for example on the EP 1 065 150 A1 and the GB1193818 directed.
- the telescopic part is designed substantially as a pot with formed in the bottom flow openings. It can thereby a total of a relatively large opening area will be realized.
- the flow openings are closed by the visible extending underneath the visible surface of the nozzle in the closed state. It could even be provided that the end face protrudes through corresponding elevations in said flow openings. With regard to said comparison, the pot is pushed over the nozzle from above with the pot opening facing downwards. The emptying in the open state is advantageous.
- the liquid exiting the container through the mouth can flow around the stopper and exit through the flow openings. Part of the flow openings can also be used immediately for ventilation. On the other hand, the end face of the telescopic part acts substantially closed. Especially when drinking directly from the cap.
- the mouth section has a mouth funnel.
- the mouth funnel serves to receive and introduce the sealing plug during the movement from the open position into the closed position. But it is also advantageous in terms of a discharge characteristic.
- This mouth funnel can be designed so that it is tapered towards the container. He tapers accordingly from outside to inside.
- the mouth funnel is formed by means of its larger diameter portion of the said outer end of the mouth forming said end face.
- the mouth funnel is provided correspondingly rotationally symmetrical to a central axis of the closure cap.
- said mouth portion has a latching portion which engages in the closed state behind a corresponding latching shape of the sealing plug.
- the sealing plug is further preferred shaped with an appropriate design. In the closed state, a lower edge of the sealing plug protrudes beyond the lower edge of the mouth section or funnel.
- the upper or outer surface of the sealing plug forms, together with the webs and a circumferential, preferably also in a protruding gripping edge expiring edge portion a nearly planar face. This is cleaning technology favorable and at the same time also pleasant when used as a drinking cap.
- the openings between the webs are preferably of a size such that the tongue is practically unable to penetrate.
- a cavity remains in the closed state between an inner surface of the webs or adjoining regions or in any case subsequent or further regions of the telescopic part and the associated end face of the neck.
- a particular embodiment is also given by the fact that the webs extend obliquely downwards as seen from the outer edge.
- the webs starting in this embodiment from its radially inner root region on the sealing plug with respect to a horizontal an extension obliquely upwards, outwards, on.
- the openings are not directly exposed in the end face, but are as it were formed in a funnel surface.
- the angle to the horizontal can be different. Preferably, it is an acute angle in the range of 5 to 85 °. In principle, however, a right angle, with which the openings then practically extend in a cylindrical surface, possible.
- a particular measure also provides that distributed in the end face of the nozzle, associated with a radially outer edge of this end face, and spaced-apart cams are formed. These may even be formed in themselves as spring elements, such as by a certain cut below. This results in a point-like support of the telescopic part on the neck in the closed state and possibly a certain bias in the latch, which can contribute to an even better tightness of the catch.
- a closure cap 1 produced in Kunststoffspritzg tellvon, which is formed in the lower region for attachment to a container with a screw portion 2, on which further below a guarantee strip 3 is formed.
- the screw section 2 is stepped, under stepped taper towards the inside, in a socket 4 with a mouth portion 5 on.
- a telescopic part 6 is guided.
- webs 8 are formed, the flow openings 7 leave, see. FIGS. 5 and 6 , and pass into a central plug 9.
- the end face of the telescopic part 6 is composed of an outer edge area 21 running around as a closed ring and an inner closed end face 22, formed by the closing plug, and the webs 8 extending therebetween.
- the edge portion 21 is extended into a protruding gripping portion 23.
- the end face up to a transition formed in the region of the closure stopper 9 transition 24 in a concave surface 25, increases, and then merges into the central concave surface 25 of the sealing plug.
- the angle of the rising surface with respect to a horizontal is small. It is an acute angle less degrees, for example in the range of 1 to 15 °.
- the webs 8 extend in coincidence to an end face 11 'of the neck 4.
- the end face 11' is composed in detail of the surface portion of the outer edge 11 and the surface portion of the funnel portion 10 together.
- the webs 8 each overlap - although not completely (in cross section) - both surface portions.
- the mouth section 5 forms a funnel section 10, which merges with its larger diameter region in one piece into a frontal outer edge 11 of the mouth or of the neck 4.
- This vertical section 12 is also used for latching with the sealing plug 9. Because the closure plug 9 has a diameter and shape corresponding vertical section 13, which is undersized by a locking bead 14 on the underside diameter.
- the telescopic part 6 is thus latched in the locked state by means of the latching sections of the mouth section 5 or of the closure stopper 9.
- the overcap 17 only fits latching on the neck 4, when the stopper 9 in the closed position according to Fig. 2 located.
- the closure plug 9 is formed with such an extent in the interior. With respect to the telescopic part 6, and the funnel portion 10 with such an extension to the container that in the open state, as in the FIGS. 3 and 4 is shown, a lower edge of the sealing plug 9 approximately closes with the outer edge of the mouth.
- the closure plug 9 itself is cup-shaped, with a cup bottom curved towards the container interior and thickening of the material radially outwardly bulging pot-lower leg areas. These leg regions or the wall of the pot at the same time forms the sealing and latching section of the sealing plug 9.
- FIGS. 5 and 6 With regard to the telescopic part 6, a plurality of throughflow openings 7 are formed, namely eight throughflow openings 7 in the exemplary embodiment. This enables a smooth emptying or drinking, whereby one or more of the openings can also be used for ventilation.
- FIGS. 9 to 13 The drawing shows a modified embodiment is shown.
- the modifications relate primarily to the associated areas, the front side of the telescopic part 6 and the nozzle. 4
- Fig. 9 but especially the magnification according to Fig. 10 gives, between an inner surface 26 of the webs 8, the edge portion 21 and the sealing plug 9, a distance a given to the end face 11 'of the nozzle 4, which leads to a cavity 28, which is also given just in the closed state.
- the distance a is seen to be variable in the radial direction, namely in the embodiment radially inwardly increasing. But there is also a first constant small radial distance a in the region of the shoulder 29 of the nozzle 4 and associated surface 26 of the telescopic part 6 given.
- liquid residues settling in this area thus also have a sufficient space in the closed state, so that they are not pressed out in the course of closing.
- the distance a is also provided circumferentially. In the exemplary embodiment, therefore, the cavity results as a corresponding annular space, only interrupted in the region of the step surface 29 by the cams 27.
- the cams 27 are formed in the radially outer region, namely in the embodiment in the area of the mentioned step surface 29 of the nozzle 4, in the end face 11 '. They space, like Fig. 10 can be seen, in the closed state in this area, the telescopic part 6 and the nozzle 4 in the sense of a distance a in the vertical direction. They may also be resilient, so that they contribute to the sealing completion between the locking bead 14 of the sealing plug 9 and the associated vertical portion 12 or concretely coming to the locking bead 14 mating surface 12 '.
- the funnel section 10 has a rib formation 30 which rises beyond the end face 11 'of the funnel 10.
- This rib 30 is formed starting from the upper, radially outer region of the funnel 10 extending radially inwardly. In the embodiment, however, it ends at a distance in front of the vertical portion 13 of the sealing plug 9.
- a rib is formed only once over the circumference. It can be used for orientation during assembly, if required in individual cases.
- the width of the rib which is also about in Fig. 14 can be seen, corresponds to about two to three times the width of a web 8 between two flow openings. 7
- FIGS. 15 to 17 differs from the previously described embodiments essentially in that the flow openings 7 or the webs forming them 8 are formed so that in this area a funnel-like extension of the telescopic part, resulting in widening radially outward.
- the embodiment Compared to a horizontal H run into the FIGS. 15 and 16 visible flow openings 7 and the webs forming them 8 upwards, in the embodiment with a smaller acute angle ⁇ of about 10 to 15 °. In this case, it is not necessary for the openings 7 or the webs 8 to run in a straight line. You can also according to a curved line, for example. Run.
- the end face of the sealing plug 9 is further included in a continuous continuation in the overall concave design thus given.
- an opposite convex configuration in the region of the sealing plug 9 may also be formed.
- the radial width of a flow opening 7 may preferably be provided in the range of 1 to 3 mm, more preferably 2 mm.

Description
The invention relates to a cap with a by opening a telescopic part along a closure central axis openable and closable, a mouth portion having outlet nozzle, the telescopic part is externally guided on the nozzle displaceable, the closure position is locked and a on the telescopic part by means of flow passages leaving webs molded closure plug is provided.
Although such caps have been proven in principle and are widely used, there is still a need to design such a cap benefits use, this without having to operate a substantial, such as in terms of a required mold, additional effort.
This object is initially and substantially solved in the subject matter of claim 1 of the present application, wherein it is based on the fact that the latching in the mouth portion locking plug is formed by means of overlapping to an end face of the nozzle extending webs.
It is essential that the latching is realized in the mouth portion of the nozzle through the plug. Characterized in that the connection of the sealing plug is provided by the end face of the nozzle cross-over or at least overlapping thereto extending webs, the telescopic part is designed substantially as a pot with formed in the bottom flow openings. It can thereby a total of a relatively large opening area will be realized. Depending on the embodiment, the flow openings are closed by the visible extending underneath the visible surface of the nozzle in the closed state. It could even be provided that the end face protrudes through corresponding elevations in said flow openings. With regard to said comparison, the pot is pushed over the nozzle from above with the pot opening facing downwards. The emptying in the open state is advantageous. The liquid exiting the container through the mouth can flow around the stopper and exit through the flow openings. Part of the flow openings can also be used immediately for ventilation. On the other hand, the end face of the telescopic part acts substantially closed. Especially when drinking directly from the cap.
The other claims on the one hand represent advantageous embodiments of the preceding in claim 1 teaching, but may also be in their independent formulation in each case of importance.
It is preferred at first that the mouth section has a mouth funnel. The mouth funnel serves to receive and introduce the sealing plug during the movement from the open position into the closed position. But it is also advantageous in terms of a discharge characteristic. This mouth funnel can be designed so that it is tapered towards the container. He tapers accordingly from outside to inside. In this respect, it is preferred that the mouth funnel is formed by means of its larger diameter portion of the said outer end of the mouth forming said end face. The mouth funnel is provided correspondingly rotationally symmetrical to a central axis of the closure cap.
It is also preferred that said mouth portion has a latching portion which engages in the closed state behind a corresponding latching shape of the sealing plug. For this purpose, the sealing plug is further preferred shaped with an appropriate design. In the closed state, a lower edge of the sealing plug protrudes beyond the lower edge of the mouth section or funnel.
The upper or outer surface of the sealing plug forms, together with the webs and a circumferential, preferably also in a protruding gripping edge expiring edge portion a nearly planar face. This is cleaning technology favorable and at the same time also pleasant when used as a drinking cap. The openings between the webs are preferably of a size such that the tongue is practically unable to penetrate.
It is also preferred that a cavity remains in the closed state between an inner surface of the webs or adjoining regions or in any case subsequent or further regions of the telescopic part and the associated end face of the neck. It has been found that when using this closure as a drinking cap on a bottle, as is the very usual application, settle in the open state on the shoulder of the nozzle liquid residues, such as in the form of drops. Now, if the telescope part pressed down to the closure of the bottle, these liquid residues are displaced and can even kick out like a splash. By the said cavity, which is adapted to the amount of liquid residues collecting there, such phenomena can not occur. Due to the openings between the webs, which also remain in the closed state, such liquid residues can dry out without further ado. Due to the surface tension is not even expected with a dropping when dropping such a bottle about.
With regard to the telescopic part, a particular embodiment is also given by the fact that the webs extend obliquely downwards as seen from the outer edge. In other words, the webs starting in this embodiment from its radially inner root region on the sealing plug with respect to a horizontal an extension obliquely upwards, outwards, on. Thus, the openings are not directly exposed in the end face, but are as it were formed in a funnel surface. The angle to the horizontal can be different. Preferably, it is an acute angle in the range of 5 to 85 °. In principle, however, a right angle, with which the openings then practically extend in a cylindrical surface, possible.
A particular measure also provides that distributed in the end face of the nozzle, associated with a radially outer edge of this end face, and spaced-apart cams are formed. These may even be formed in themselves as spring elements, such as by a certain cut below. This results in a point-like support of the telescopic part on the neck in the closed state and possibly a certain bias in the latch, which can contribute to an even better tightness of the catch.
