Definitions
- the invention relates to an adapter plug housing for receiving a plug part and an adapter socket housing for receiving a socket part according to the preamble of claim 1 or claim 2
- Adapter housings of the generic type allow the use of the plug and socket parts used in them even in harsher environment - for example in production plants or vehicles - by reaching a higher than the protection class of the plug part protection class such. IP65 or IP67.
- a first such arrangement for a telephone plug is from the US 4,349,236 (Bell Telephone Laboratories).
- a device for mounting a connector in a module housing of a module plug is disclosed.
- locking springs are arranged, which cause a fixation of the inserted connector.
- the end portions are inserted into slots of the module housing.
- the spring element is curved.
- this can result in that the detent spring arrangement is released from the slots, in particular in a harsh environment, since a secure fixation of the detent spring arrangement on the module housing is not given.
- the U-shaped design of the detent spring assembly with a molded detent spring is quite complex to manufacture and therefore costly.
- the JP 2004 319158 A deals with a connection between a cylindrical lamp housing and a connecting part.
- the connecting part has on its outside a Anformung, which is connected with clamping tongues.
- clamping tongues When inserting the connecting part in the lamp housing press the clamping tongues against the inside of the lamp housing and thus lead to a lock.
- the clamping is less stable and can be easily solved, especially in a harsh environment.
- the invention has the object to provide a latching hook assembly for locking a Siecker- or a female part in an adapter plug housing, which is simple and inexpensive to produce, while easy to install and also lockable on the adapter plug housing or on the adapter socket part, so that it does not detach itself from the adapter plug housing or the adapter socket housing, even under high mechanical and chemical stresses in a harsh environment, and reliable locking of the plug or socket part with the adapter plug housing or the adapter socket housing is ensured.
- the invention achieves this object by the subject matter of claim 1 and by the subject matter of claim 2.
- plug or socket part is not meant to be limiting.
- light-guiding elements, electrical pin and / or socket contacts of various types or e.g. also be formed elements for pneumatic connector.
- the adapter plug and adapter socket parts are further developed such that they are characterized by at least one robust and easy to produce, separate locking hook (also called snap hook arrangement).
- Such separately formed locking hooks are compared to those in the US 6,595,791 B2 in Fig. 10 shown, integrally molded Verrieglungshaken optimally adaptable to the purpose, since they may for example consist of another material - such as a special metal alloy or a plastic or mixed forms of these materials - than the adapter housing itself. Furthermore, there are fewer constraints in terms of shape design than at a one-piece molding. In particular, this latching hook is perhaps suitable for a plastic housing, but not for a metal housing, since the required spring properties can not be optimally achieved, for example in zinc die-casting
- the adapter socket housing can even be provided with two of the separate locking hook arrangements, which allows a particularly firm and secure fit of the socket part in the adapter housing.
- the assembly is easy and quick to implement. Due to the design as a plate, the funkions becamee and space-saving way to produce a cost punched / bent part results.
- Fig. 1-20 each show an adapter plug housing 1 or an adapter socket housing. 2
- FIGS. 1 ff preferably on the known from the prior art undercuts for "deactivation" of locking elements on the RJ45 plug-in, as they are known from the documents mentioned in the prior art.
- Pins 3 of a bayonet closure are formed on the inner periphery of a locking sleeve 25 which is rotatably guided on the actual adapter plug housing 1.
- the adapter plug housing 1 may be followed by a protective element 29, possibly with a metal or plastic anti-kink sleeve 30, which may be e.g. is screwed onto the connector housing 1 or latched thereto.
- each of the adapter plug housing 1 is a one-piece or multi-piece plug part 34a-d, possibly with subframe 35, 36, 38, 39 (see Fig. 11 to 14 and 18 ), in particular - but not only - in the so-called RJ45 standard and other versions, can be used, which will be explained in more detail below.
- each of the adapter socket housing 2 is a one-piece or multi-piece socket part 21a d, 39 (see Fig. 3 and 17 to 19) in particular - but not only - in the so-called RJ45 standard, can be used, which will also be explained in more detail below.
- Plug and socket parts (not shown here, for example Firewire, USB, COAX, sensor / actuator contacts, power contacts, etc.).
- the adapter socket housing 2 of the Fig. 3 to 7 and 15ff are formed as a flange housing, ie, they have a flange portion 5 with mounting holes 6, which can be penetrated by screws, for example, to attach the flange housing, for example, to a wall at which a passage is to be realized.
- the flange section 5 is adjoined by a housing section 7 which is cylindrical on the outside and which has an external thread 8 in its region adjoining the flange section and then a section with the latching grooves 4 of the bayonet closure.
- a nut 9 and possibly a sealing ring 10 attachable which allow a determination on a passage of a wall.
- an advantageous multi-functional part is created that can alternatively be pushed from behind / inside through the wall and fixed with a central screw or that can be placed on the wall front / outside on the wall and fixed with four screws, so that both installation situations covered with a part can be.
- the adapter socket housing 2 has the receiving space / installation space 11b, which is essentially vertical in cross section, for receiving the socket part 21a (FIG. Fig. 3a ).
- a latching hook arrangement 12 with at least one (adapter plug housing 1) or preferably two (adapter socket housing 2; shown here in the figures) or more latching hooks.
- the latching hook arrangement 12 is made of ( Fig. 1 . 2 ; 8 to 14 ) or two spring plates 13, 13 ', 14, 24, 24' ( Fig. 3 to 6 ; 15ff).
- the spring plates 24 ', 24 of the Fig. 2 and 6 are made of plastic. Otherwise, metal spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 are used, which may for example consist of a spring metal (eg a spring steel).
- the spring plates made of plastic can also be locked in a different manner to the adapter housing than the metal plates, in particular without receiving hole, for example by an axial or axial and radial latching / latching arrangement.
- spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 are each in recesses 37 of the installation spaces 11 a, b used, in particular insertable.
- Punched and bent projections 17 of the spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 serve as the actual latching hooks 22, 22' for locking the plug-in parts 34 or socket parts 21 to be used.
- the spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 may consist of sheet steel.
- the metal snap hooks are particularly robust and can be used many times.
- the spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 can also be easily produced as stamped and bent parts and easy to assemble.
- spring plates 24, 24' may be formed of plastic, which are fixed inside the adapter socket housing 2, in particular latched. ( Fig. 2 and 6a, b ).
- latching hooks 28, 28 ' are formed from metal, they could theoretically also be formed on the inside of the adapter socket housing 2 or the adapter plug housing 1 ( Fig. 7 . 20 ), if this is technically feasible. These two variants are cheaper than the Fig. 1 and 3 but are less preferred because these locking hooks 28, 28 'in metal housing have only poor spring properties and are difficult to produce.
- adapter plug housing (1) To mention as advantageous in terms of the adapter plug housing (1) is still the easy way to attach marks on the different surfaces. As seals O-ring seals are used. There are also depressions 16 which are suitable for receiving markers 26 or the like.
- one (of two) larger bevels can be formed in one of the four corners of the installation space 11b (adapter socket housing 2) or 11a (adapter plug housing 1), which advantageously serves as a 180 ° twist protection.
- Adapter plug housing 1 Adapter socket housing 2 spigot 3 locking groove 4 flange 5 mounting hole 6 housing section 7 external thread 8th mother 9 seal 10 installation space 11a, 11b Latch hook assembly 12 feather 13, 13 ' feather 14 receiving hole 15 deepening 16 head Start 17 catch projection 18 edge 19 Trundle edges / slots 20 female parts 21, 21a-d latch hook 22, 22 ' latch hook 23, 23 ' spring plate 24, 24 ' locking sleeve 25 markers 26 sealing element 27 latch hook 28, 28 ' protection element 29 bend relief 30 ring 33 plug parts 34, 34a-d subframe 35, 36, 38, 39 recesses 37
