Description

IP65 oder IP67.Adapter housings of the generic type allow the use of the plug and socket parts used in them even in harsher environment - for example in production plants or vehicles - by reaching a higher than the protection class of the plug part protection class such. IP65 or IP67.

A first such arrangement for a telephone plug is from the US 4,349,236 (Bell Telephone Laboratories).

Further developed or anchored was the idea of reaching higher requirements from environmental classifications, for example in the generic US 6,475,009 B2 and the US 6,595,791 B2 , In this document, various adapter plug housing and adapter socket housing are disclosed, which are each suitable for receiving RJ45 plugs or RJ45 sockets.

In the EP 1 594 196 A1 a device for mounting a connector in a module housing of a module plug is disclosed. In the module housing locking springs are arranged, which cause a fixation of the inserted connector. It is a spring element described, the end portions are inserted into slots of the module housing. In order to achieve a fixation of the spring element in the slots of the module housing, the spring element is curved. However, this can result in that the detent spring arrangement is released from the slots, in particular in a harsh environment, since a secure fixation of the detent spring arrangement on the module housing is not given. In addition, the U-shaped design of the detent spring assembly with a molded detent spring is quite complex to manufacture and therefore costly.

The JP 2004 319158 A deals with a connection between a cylindrical lamp housing and a connecting part. The connecting part has on its outside a Anformung, which is connected with clamping tongues. When inserting the connecting part in the lamp housing press the clamping tongues against the inside of the lamp housing and thus lead to a lock. However, the clamping is less stable and can be easily solved, especially in a harsh environment.

The invention has the object to provide a latching hook assembly for locking a Siecker- or a female part in an adapter plug housing, which is simple and inexpensive to produce, while easy to install and also lockable on the adapter plug housing or on the adapter socket part, so that it does not detach itself from the adapter plug housing or the adapter socket housing, even under high mechanical and chemical stresses in a harsh environment, and reliable locking of the plug or socket part with the adapter plug housing or the adapter socket housing is ensured.

The invention achieves this object by the subject matter of claim 1 and by the subject matter of claim 2.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind den Unteransprüchen zu entnehmen.Advantageous embodiments can be found in the dependent claims.

The created adapter socket and plug parts enable the use of the plug or socket parts even in harsh environments. The term plug or socket part is not meant to be limiting. At the plug or socket part, light-guiding elements, electrical pin and / or socket contacts of various types or e.g. Also be formed elements for pneumatic connector.

The adapter plug and adapter socket parts are further developed such that they are characterized by at least one robust and easy to produce, separate locking hook (also called snap hook arrangement).

Insbesondere ist dieser Rasthaken vielleicht für ein Kunststoffgehäuse, nicht aber auch für ein Metallgehäuse geeignet, da die benötigten Federeigenschaften z.B. im Zinkdruckgussverfahren nicht optimal erreicht werden könnenSuch separately formed locking hooks are compared to those in the US 6,595,791 B2 in Fig. 10 shown, integrally molded Verrieglungshaken optimally adaptable to the purpose, since they may for example consist of another material - such as a special metal alloy or a plastic or mixed forms of these materials - than the adapter housing itself. Furthermore, there are fewer constraints in terms of shape design than at a one-piece molding. In particular, this latching hook is perhaps suitable for a plastic housing, but not for a metal housing, since the required spring properties can not be optimally achieved, for example in zinc die-casting

It is also advantageous that the adapter socket housing can even be provided with two of the separate locking hook arrangements, which allows a particularly firm and secure fit of the socket part in the adapter housing.

According to the preferred variants, the assembly is easy and quick to implement. Due to the design as a plate, the funkionswirksame and space-saving way to produce a cost punched / bent part results.

Pins 3 of a bayonet closure are formed on the inner periphery of a locking sleeve 25 which is rotatably guided on the actual adapter plug housing 1.

Sealing elements / rings 27 and possibly further sealing elements ensure a high protection class. The adapter plug housing 1 may be followed by a protective element 29, possibly with a metal or plastic anti-kink sleeve 30, which may be e.g. is screwed onto the connector housing 1 or latched thereto.

In each of the adapter plug housing 1 is a one-piece or multi-piece plug part 34a-d, possibly with subframe 35, 36, 38, 39 (see Fig. 11 to 14 and 18 ), in particular - but not only - in the so-called RJ45 standard and other versions, can be used, which will be explained in more detail below.

In each of the adapter socket housing 2, however, is a one-piece or multi-piece socket part 21a d, 39 (see Fig. 3 and 17 to 19) in particular - but not only - in the so-called RJ45 standard, can be used, which will also be explained in more detail below.

  • RJ45 (Fig. 11, Fig. 3 - Bezugszeichen 21 a, 34a; Fig. 12, Fig. 17, Bezugszeichen 21b, 34b);
  • LC-Duplex (Fig. 13; Fig. 18, Bezugszeichen 21c mit Hilfsrahmen 39, 34c mit Hilfsrahmen 35);
  • 2SC im Abstand eines SC-RJ (Fig. 14, Fig. 19, Bezugszeichen 21d, 34d mit Hilfsrahmen 36).
One (adapter plug housing 1) or advantageously even two (adapter socket housing 2) in the respective installation space 11a, b inside latching hook assemblies 12 allow each assembly / disassembly of various plug parts and socket parts, eg
  • RJ45 ( Fig. 11 . Fig. 3 - Reference numerals 21 a, 34 a; Fig. 12 . Fig. 17 , Reference numerals 21b, 34b);
  • LC duplex ( Fig. 13 ; Fig. 18 Reference numeral 21c with subframe 39, 34c with subframe 35);
  • 2SC at the distance of a SC-RJ ( Fig. 14 . Fig. 19 , Reference numerals 21d, 34d with subframe 36).

Firewire, USB, KOAX, Sensor-/Aktor-Kontakte, Power-Kontakte usw.).Conceivable further embodiments of the plug and socket parts (not shown here, for example Firewire, USB, COAX, sensor / actuator contacts, power contacts, etc.).

Like in the US 6,475,009B2 and the US Pat. No. 6,595,791 B1 are the adapter plug housing 1 and the adapter socket housing 2 in the manner of a bayonet connection with pin 3 and receiving and locking grooves 4 coupled (where in each case previously a plug part 34 and a socket part 21, if necessary, with subframe 35, 36, 38, 39 in it were used, which are to be coupled with each other).

The adapter socket housing 2 of the Fig. 3 to 7 and 15ff are formed as a flange housing, ie, they have a flange portion 5 with mounting holes 6, which can be penetrated by screws, for example, to attach the flange housing, for example, to a wall at which a passage is to be realized.

The flange section 5 is adjoined by a housing section 7 which is cylindrical on the outside and which has an external thread 8 in its region adjoining the flange section and then a section with the latching grooves 4 of the bayonet closure.

On the section with the external thread 8 are (see also Fig. 4 and 5 ) a nut 9 and possibly a sealing ring 10 attachable, which allow a determination on a passage of a wall.

Thus, an advantageous multi-functional part is created that can alternatively be pushed from behind / inside through the wall and fixed with a central screw or that can be placed on the wall front / outside on the wall and fixed with four screws, so that both installation situations covered with a part can be.

Nach innen hin weist das Adapter-Buchsengehäuse 2 den im Wesentlichen im Querschnitt senkrechten Aufnahmeraum/Einbauraum 11b zur Aufnahme des Buchsenteils 21a auf (Fig. 3a).Towards the inside, the adapter socket housing 2 has the receiving space / installation space 11b, which is essentially vertical in cross section, for receiving the socket part 21a (FIG. Fig. 3a ).

The latching of both the plug parts 34a-d in the adapter plug housing 1 and the socket parts 21 ad in the adapter socket housing 2 by means of a latching hook arrangement 12 with at least one (adapter plug housing 1) or preferably two (adapter socket housing 2; shown here in the figures) or more latching hooks.

Nach den Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 1 und 2 sowie 3 bis 5; 6; 8 ff wird die Rasthakenanordnung 12 aus ein (Fig. 1, 2; 8 bis 14) oder aus zwei Federplatten 13, 13', 14, 24, 24' (Fig. 3 bis 6; 15ff) gebildet.According to the embodiment of Fig. 1 and 2 as well as 3 to 5; 6; 8 ff, the latching hook arrangement 12 is made of ( Fig. 1 . 2 ; 8 to 14 ) or two spring plates 13, 13 ', 14, 24, 24' ( Fig. 3 to 6 ; 15ff).

The spring plates 24 ', 24 of the Fig. 2 and 6 are made of plastic. Otherwise, metal spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 are used, which may for example consist of a spring metal (eg a spring steel). The spring plates made of plastic can also be locked in a different manner to the adapter housing than the metal plates, in particular without receiving hole, for example by an axial or axial and radial latching / latching arrangement.

These spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 (see, for example Fig. 3 and 4 or 15 ) are each in recesses 37 of the installation spaces 11 a, b used, in particular insertable.

They each have a receiving hole 15 that serves for its own locking on a locking projection 18 in the adapter socket housing, in conjunction with Unterschiebekanten / slots 20 (see, eg Fig. 8 and 9 ), in which edge areas of the Spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 are inserted until the locking projections 18 engage in the receiving holes 15. This type of installation is simple and safe. Alternative embodiments of Verrastens the spring plates - especially if they are made of plastic - are conceivable.

An inclined edge 19 (FIG. Fig. 4 ) on the spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 facilitates the insertion of male and female parts 34, 21st

Ausgestanzte und umgebogene Vorsprünge 17 der Federplatten 13, 13', 14 dienen als die eigentlichen Rasthaken 22, 22' zum Verrasten der einzusetzenden Steckerteile 34 oder Buchsenteile 21.Punched and bent projections 17 of the spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 serve as the actual latching hooks 22, 22' for locking the plug-in parts 34 or socket parts 21 to be used.

Die Federplatten 13, 13', 14 können aus Stahlblech bestehen.The spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 may consist of sheet steel.

Alternatively, they could be made of another metal or - u. - even made of plastic.

The metal snap hooks are particularly robust and can be used many times. The spring plates 13, 13 ', 14 can also be easily produced as stamped and bent parts and easy to assemble.

(Fig. 2 und 6a,b).If the latching hooks 23, 23 'formed from plastic, spring plates 24, 24' may be formed of plastic, which are fixed inside the adapter socket housing 2, in particular latched. ( Fig. 2 and 6a, b ).

If the latching hooks 28, 28 'are formed from metal, they could theoretically also be formed on the inside of the adapter socket housing 2 or the adapter plug housing 1 ( Fig. 7 . 20 ), if this is technically feasible. These two variants are cheaper than the Fig. 1 and 3 but are less preferred because these locking hooks 28, 28 'in metal housing have only poor spring properties and are difficult to produce.

It is also conceivable to use plastic or metal locking springs and to envelop them (not shown here).

To mention as advantageous in terms of the adapter plug housing (1) is still the easy way to attach marks on the different surfaces. As seals O-ring seals are used. There are also depressions 16 which are suitable for receiving markers 26 or the like.
