Definitions
- the present invention relates to a coupling head with a device carrier for automatic coupling of rail vehicles, wherein the device carrier has a plurality of necessary for performing the automatic coupling and / or decoupling components.
- Couplings of modern design usually consist of three basic components.
- the coupling block is that part which is anchored in the body of a rail vehicle.
- a coupling rod connects the coupling block with the coupling head.
- the coupling head is the actually active part of a coupling. It ultimately serves for the actual production of an operative connection for the coupling of the next rail vehicle.
- the coupling head has a number of active and passive elements that allow automatic coupling and / or decoupling.
- the term “coupling” in this context means the production of a frictional connection between the coupling of a rail vehicle and another coupling of another rail vehicle.
- decoupling is therefore understood to mean the release of this connection from two adjacent rail vehicles which are connected via couplings. In the following, therefore, the term “coupling process” is to be understood as meaning both coupling and uncoupling.
- the active and passive components that actively or passively support a coupling process are auxiliaries that interact with the skeleton of a coupling head. Under the skeleton of a coupling head is understood in this context, the supporting element of the coupling head. Active or passive components of the type mentioned can e.g. Pneumatic valves, hydraulic valves, pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, terminal boxes for connecting electrical connections and also actuating linkage (actuating mechanism) for supporting an automatic dome operation. The said components or auxiliary units must be present at the coupling head in order to ensure a complete function.
- Fig. 3 shows a known from the prior art solution in which the necessary for performing the automatic coupling and / or decoupling components are individually attached to the skeleton of the coupling head.
- mounting brackets or other holders 107 are provided at a plurality of different locations. These can either be welded, screwed or cast together with the basic structure of the coupling head. When assembling a complete coupling head, it is therefore necessary to place the respective components respectively at the designated locations on the coupling head and fasten individually. Due to this single attachment a high installation cost is required.
- the present invention has the object, a coupling head of the type mentioned in such a way to allow easy assembly / disassembly.
- the invention is also based on the object of specifying a corresponding method for mounting a coupling head with a device carrier.
- the device carrier is detachably mounted on the coupling head in a coupling head of the type mentioned above, which has several components necessary for carrying out the automatic coupling and / or decoupling, that at least one of the components during the Coupling and / or uncoupling is enabled or disabled.
- the object is achieved by a method for mounting a coupling head.
- the following steps are carried out: First, a pre-assembly of the components on the equipment rack.
- the components consist of elements of the group of valves, electrical acknowledgment means, electronic actuators, terminal boxes, mounting cylinders, E-coupling actuating mechanism and other components required for the operation of a clutch.
- the so completely preassembled equipment carrier is mounted on the coupling head by means of detachable fasteners such that at least one component can be activated or deactivated during coupling and / or decoupling.
- the production of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and / or hydraulic connections which are required for a complete function of the coupling head to the components.
- the device carrier takes on a plurality of components. These may be terminal boxes, sensors, switches, valves, actuation cylinders, actuation motors and also e-coupling actuation mechanisms. Other components for the function of the coupling head may additionally be mounted on the device carrier. In this way, it is no longer necessary to mount each component individually on the basic structure of the coupling head. Instead, for example, valves and actuator cylinders are mounted directly on the equipment rack and connected to each other via electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic lines. The same applies to switches and sensors whose electrical connections are routed via cables to a terminal box.
- an actuating mechanism for the E-coupling can be carried by the equipment carrier. From the completely pre-assembled equipment carrier then lead only a hydraulic or pneumatic line and a cable to control the components away.
- This pre-assembled device carrier can now be completely fixed on the coupling head, for example with screws. It could also be removed after releasing the electrical and pneumatic / hydraulic connections from the coupling head. This is a significant workload for carrying out the assembly of the coupling head and maintenance of the components. A single disassembly of said components from the equipment rack, which were mounted in the previous assembly process to individual fasteners on the coupling head is no longer required.
- the method according to the invention represents a particularly simple and cost-effective method for mounting and / or disassembling a plurality of components on a coupling head.
- the equipment carrier is designed such that it has at least one of two opposite ends integrally formed with the device carrier means for receiving an actuating mechanism.
- the means for receiving the actuating mechanism is designed as, for example, U-shaped formations, wherein between the legs of these U-shaped formations axes can be mounted, which receive the actuating mechanisms for the function of the coupling. Such axes would have to be stored without the equipment carrier of the type described in two separate brackets, which are provided separately on the coupling head.
- U-shaped configurations are also conceivable here instead of the U-shaped configurations.
- the device for receiving the actuating mechanism is designed such that in the installed state, the actuating mechanism is arranged above or below the device carrier.
- the actuating mechanism can be arranged at any position in the two-dimensional coupling mirror, which in particular leads to a particularly flexible use of the device carrier for different coupling heads.
- the fact that the means for receiving an actuating mechanism are arranged at one of the two opposite ends on the top or bottom of the equipment carrier, it is for example possible to form the means for receiving the actuating mechanism as a mouth-like configuration, wherein the respective openings of the mouth-like formations, for example in Show coupling direction.
- auxiliary linkages which are required to activate a function of the clutch, and which are mounted on arranged between the legs of the training axes, unhindered act on the actual closing and opening mechanism of the clutch mechanism of the e-coupling.
- the mouth-like training is for example a U-shaped training in question.
- Shapes conceivable. It is also conceivable for at least one of the respective openings of the formations to point outwards, inwards or backwards.
- the means for receiving the actuating mechanism is designed so that the actuating mechanism for the E-coupling is pivotally mounted within the means for receiving the actuating mechanism in a substantially horizontal plane.
- the said components which are mounted on the equipment carrier, can also be composed of a variety of different auxiliary equipment. These may include valves, electrical actuators, electronic actuators, electrical terminal boxes, actuation motors, actuation cylinders, and clutch actuation mechanisms. Ultimately, this means that all active and passive elements that are required for the function of the coupling head, can be combined on a common device carrier. This means that individual device carriers for individual components on the coupling head are no longer required. The complexity of the coupling head decreases with it.
- actuating cylinder and actuating mechanism for the coupling head can be pre-assembled on the equipment rack and connected to each other. They are then available together on the equipment carrier and can be connected and removed together. Further embodiments are familiar to the person skilled in the art.
- a terminal box is provided on the equipment carrier.
- all electrical connections for components or units can now be brought together on the equipment rack.
- This one cable harness can be provided via a plug both on the terminal box on the equipment rack as well as for connection to the rail vehicle in a terminal box with plugs. In this way can be with simple steps, the electric Release connection to coupling head. This benefits both assembly and maintenance.
- the device carrier of the or the actuating cylinder from below or from above on the equipment carrier, which is in the use position available.
- a further embodiment of the coupling head according to the invention with equipment carrier provides that the equipment rack is mounted, including the preassembled components of the top of the coupling head.
- the coupling head in the car body of a rail vehicle in the use position. This type of mounting protects all components located above the equipment carrier from contamination, which is essentially transmitted to the coupling head from below. For this reason, essentially valves, electrical and electronic elements and electrical connections are provided on top of the equipment rack.
- Fig. 1 shows the equipment carrier 1 with mounted components.
- a yoke-like structure of the device carrier can be seen.
- means for receiving an actuating mechanism at the respective ends of the yoke-shaped device carrier 1 can be seen.
- these devices are designed as U-shaped configurations, but of course, other shaped configurations would be conceivable.
- the three-dimensional representation of the equipment carrier can be seen in the U-shaped formations of the equipment carrier, the vertical axes on which the actuating mechanisms 7 are rotatably mounted for the clutch. Below the equipment carrier and the equipment carrier, the actuating cylinders 5 and 6 are mounted.
- the entire equipment carrier with all mounted components can be fixed by means of screws 10 and pins 11 from above on a coupling head 20.
- the equipment carrier is mounted according to the bottom of the coupling head.
- Fig. 2 shows the built-in equipment rack with all components in the installed state on a coupling head 20. Also in this illustration, the individual components such as a valve 2, a switch 3, a terminal box 4, actuating cylinders 5 and 6, an actuating mechanism 7 for the clutch, hoses and 9 and the fastening screws 10 and pins 11, with which the device carrier 1 is fixed to the coupling head 20, recognizable.
- the coupling head itself has a coupling plane 21, which is perpendicular to the coupling direction 22 in the front region of the coupling head. In the rear region of the coupling head, the receiving chuck 23 for a coupling rod, which leads to the coupling block of an entire coupling can be seen.
- the device carrier in the rear region of the coupling head from above is mounted on the coupling head.
- Fixing screws 10 are used to attach the device carrier 1 on the coupling head 20.
- the pins 11 are used for precise fixation of the carrier on or on the coupling head.
- the equipment carrier 1 with all its components by releasing mechanical connections to the actuating mechanism and the pneumatic and electrical connection easily from the coupling head by dissolving such as in Fig. 2 shown four screws 10 is removable. Any other number of screws is conceivable. It is also conceivable that the device carrier engages in a holding form on the coupling head and then only has to be fixed with a single screw.
- the actual equipment carrier 1 is made for example of steel.
- This device carrier is provided with the necessary holes and threads.
- valves 2 which are usually valves 2, electrical actuators 3 (such as stop switches), electronic actuators (not shown), terminal boxes 4, actuation cylinders 5 and 6 for the clutch, and other components required for the function of a clutch (not shown), mounted on the equipment rack.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a coupling head with a device carrier for automatic coupling of rail vehicles, wherein the device carrier has a plurality of necessary for performing the automatic coupling and / or decoupling components.
Couplings of modern design usually consist of three basic components. The coupling block is that part which is anchored in the body of a rail vehicle. A coupling rod connects the coupling block with the coupling head. The coupling head is the actually active part of a coupling. It ultimately serves for the actual production of an operative connection for the coupling of the next rail vehicle. For this purpose, the coupling head has a number of active and passive elements that allow automatic coupling and / or decoupling. The term "coupling" in this context means the production of a frictional connection between the coupling of a rail vehicle and another coupling of another rail vehicle. The term "decoupling" is therefore understood to mean the release of this connection from two adjacent rail vehicles which are connected via couplings. In the following, therefore, the term "coupling process" is to be understood as meaning both coupling and uncoupling.
The active and passive components that actively or passively support a coupling process are auxiliaries that interact with the skeleton of a coupling head.
Based on this problem, the present invention has the object, a coupling head of the type mentioned in such a way to allow easy assembly / disassembly. The invention is also based on the object of specifying a corresponding method for mounting a coupling head with a device carrier.
This object is achieved in that the device carrier is detachably mounted on the coupling head in a coupling head of the type mentioned above, which has several components necessary for carrying out the automatic coupling and / or decoupling, that at least one of the components during the Coupling and / or uncoupling is enabled or disabled.
In addition, the object is achieved by a method for mounting a coupling head. The following steps are carried out: First, a pre-assembly of the components on the equipment rack. The components consist of elements of the group of valves, electrical acknowledgment means, electronic actuators, terminal boxes, mounting cylinders, E-coupling actuating mechanism and other components required for the operation of a clutch. Subsequently, the so completely preassembled equipment carrier is mounted on the coupling head by means of detachable fasteners such that at least one component can be activated or deactivated during coupling and / or decoupling. Finally, the production of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and / or hydraulic connections, which are required for a complete function of the coupling head to the components.
This design brings significant benefits both for the installation of a coupling head and for necessary maintenance on the coupling head. For this purpose, the device carrier takes on a plurality of components. Furthermore, an actuating mechanism for the E-coupling can be carried by the equipment carrier. From the completely pre-assembled equipment carrier then lead only a hydraulic or pneumatic line and a cable to control the components away. This pre-assembled device carrier can now be completely fixed on the coupling head, for example with screws.
The method according to the invention represents a particularly simple and cost-effective method for mounting and / or disassembling a plurality of components on a coupling head.
Advantageous developments of the coupling head according to the invention are specified in the
In an advantageous development of the equipment carrier is designed such that it has at least one of two opposite ends integrally formed with the device carrier means for receiving an actuating mechanism. It would be conceivable here that the means for receiving the actuating mechanism is designed as, for example, U-shaped formations, wherein between the legs of these U-shaped formations axes can be mounted, which receive the actuating mechanisms for the function of the coupling. Such axes would have to be stored without the equipment carrier of the type described in two separate brackets, which are provided separately on the coupling head. Of course, other shapes of the training or other facilities for receiving the actuating mechanism are also conceivable here instead of the U-shaped configurations.
In an advantageous embodiment of the aforementioned embodiment, the device for receiving the actuating mechanism is designed such that in the installed state, the actuating mechanism is arranged above or below the device carrier. This makes it possible that the actuating mechanism can be arranged at any position in the two-dimensional coupling mirror, which in particular leads to a particularly flexible use of the device carrier for different coupling heads. The fact that the means for receiving an actuating mechanism are arranged at one of the two opposite ends on the top or bottom of the equipment carrier, it is for example possible to form the means for receiving the actuating mechanism as a mouth-like configuration, wherein the respective openings of the mouth-like formations, for example in Show coupling direction. In this way, auxiliary linkages, which are required to activate a function of the clutch, and which are mounted on arranged between the legs of the training axes, unhindered act on the actual closing and opening mechanism of the clutch mechanism of the e-coupling. As a possible realization of the mouth-like training is for example a U-shaped training in question. Of course, here are others Shapes conceivable. It is also conceivable for at least one of the respective openings of the formations to point outwards, inwards or backwards.
Advantageously, in one of the latter two embodiments of the device carrier according to the invention, the means for receiving the actuating mechanism is designed so that the actuating mechanism for the E-coupling is pivotally mounted within the means for receiving the actuating mechanism in a substantially horizontal plane. As a result, the assembly and disassembly of the device carrier on the coupling head is further simplified.
Die Komplexität des Kupplungskopfes nimmt damit ab.The said components, which are mounted on the equipment carrier, can also be composed of a variety of different auxiliary equipment.
In an advantageous further development of the equipment carrier, one of the components which are mounted on the equipment carrier, an actuating cylinder and / or an actuating mechanism for the coupling head, which cooperate when coupling or decoupling. In this case, actuating cylinder and actuating mechanism for the coupling head can be pre-assembled on the equipment rack and connected to each other. They are then available together on the equipment carrier and can be connected and removed together. Further embodiments are familiar to the person skilled in the art.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the device carrier according to the invention, a terminal box is provided on the equipment carrier. In this terminal box, all electrical connections for components or units can now be brought together on the equipment rack. This makes it possible that only one harness leads from the equipment rack to the coupling box of the rail vehicle. This one cable harness can be provided via a plug both on the terminal box on the equipment rack as well as for connection to the rail vehicle in a terminal box with plugs. In this way can be with simple steps, the electric Release connection to coupling head. This benefits both assembly and maintenance.
In another embodiment of the device carrier of the or the actuating cylinder from below or from above on the equipment carrier, which is in the use position available. By the interaction of the actuating cylinder with the actuating mechanism, which are held by the means for receiving the actuating mechanism, for example from an axis in the respective U-shaped formations at the end of the equipment carrier, results in a mechanically elegant construction, the very few additional parts needed. In this case, the device for receiving the actuating mechanism protects, for example, the necessary push rods of extended punches of the actuating cylinder from dirt or damage.
A further embodiment of the coupling head according to the invention with equipment carrier provides that the equipment rack is mounted, including the preassembled components of the top of the coupling head. Here is the coupling head in the car body of a rail vehicle in the use position. This type of mounting protects all components located above the equipment carrier from contamination, which is essentially transmitted to the coupling head from below. For this reason, essentially valves, electrical and electronic elements and electrical connections are provided on top of the equipment rack.
The invention will be described with reference to an embodiment which is explained in more detail with reference to drawings.

In the following, the method according to the invention for mounting a coupling head with a device carrier will be described. First, the
Subsequently, the individual components are mounted on or on the device carrier. These are usually
Thereafter, the assembly of the completely pre-assembled device carrier takes place on the coupling head. This is done by means of releasable fastening means such that at least one of the components is activated or deactivated during the coupling and / or decoupling. In the present embodiment, this example, the
