Description

Möbelantrieb zum Verstellen eines ersten Teiles eines Möbels relativ zu einem zweiten Teil Furniture drive for adjusting a first part of a piece of furniture relative to a second part
Derartige Möbelantriebe sind allgemein bekannt und dienen beispielsweise zum Verstellen von Teilen vonThe invention relates to a furniture drive for adjusting a first part of a piece of furniture relative to a second part of the piece of furniture. Furniture drives of this type are generally known and are used, for example, for adjusting parts of
Furniture drives are known which serve to adjust the height and / or inclination of an upholstery element of a chair designed as a seat part on which a seat surface is formed, relative to a base body of the chair. The known furniture drive has a scissor-type lifting linkage connected to the base body, on which the seat part is supported. An electric motor drive is provided for adjusting the lifting rod. A disadvantage of this known furniture drive is that it is complex and therefore expensive to manufacture. Another disadvantage is that the known furniture drive takes up a lot of space, especially below the seat part. The invention has for its object to provide a furniture drive of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, which does not have the disadvantages of the known furniture drive, which is therefore simple and economical. is inexpensive to manufacture and is space-saving. This object is achieved by the teaching specified in claim 1. The basic idea of the teaching according to the invention is to provide a swivel shaft drive for adjusting the inclination of a first part, for example a seat part of an armchair, relative to a second part, for example a base body of the armchair, and / or the distance between the first part and the second part. For this purpose, according to the invention at least one pivot shaft is pivotally mounted on the first part and is assigned a pivot drive. According to the invention, at least one support element is connected to the pivot shaft, via which the first pivot shaft is supported on a support surface formed on the second part in such a way that by pivoting the pivot shaft, the inclination of the first part relative to the second part and / or the Distance of the first part to the second part is adjustable. If the furniture drive according to the invention is used, for example, to adjust the inclination of a seat part relative to a base body of an armchair, then when the pivoting shaft is pivoted, it changes due to the
Um den Raumbedarf des erfindungsgemäßen Möbelan- triebs weiter zu verrringern, sieht eine vorteilhafteThe fact that the pivot shaft is supported by the support element or the support elements on the support surface, the vertical distance of the pivot shaft from the support surface, so that the seat part is adjusted in its inclination or in its distance from the support surface and thus in its height. According to the invention, for example, a single pivot shaft is provided, which is mounted on one end of the seat part, while the other end around one stationary pivot axis is pivotable, the inclination of the seat part relative to the support surface and thus to the base body of the armchair is adjustable by means of the furniture drive according to the invention. If, on the other hand, the end of the seat part facing away from the pivot shaft is not movably mounted on a fixed pivot axis, but rather, for example, via a link guide, not only the inclination of the seat part relative to the base body can be adjusted by means of a single pivot shaft when using a suitable pivot mechanism, but also its height. If, in particular and for example parallel and spaced apart, at least two swivel shafts are provided, each of which is assigned a swivel drive, then the height of the seat part and its inclination can be adjusted by means of the swivel shafts. The furniture drive according to the invention is simple and inexpensive to manufacture and particularly space-saving. In particular, the furniture drive according to the invention, based on the pivot shaft and the associated pivot drive, has a particularly low overall height. The furniture drive according to the invention is suitable for adjusting parts of any furniture, for example for adjusting parts of a slatted frame relative to one another. The furniture drive according to the invention is particularly well suited for adjusting parts of seating furniture, in particular armchairs, relative to one another. In principle, it is sufficient according to the invention if a single pivot shaft is provided for adjusting the inclination of the first part relative to the second part and / or the distance of the first part from the second part. An extremely beneficial one A further development of the teaching according to the invention provides, however, that a further pivot shaft mounted pivotably on the first part is provided in parallel and spaced apart from the pivot shaft, to which a pivot drive is assigned, at least one further support element that is operatively connected to the further pivot shaft being provided is supported on a support surface formed on the second part such that the inclination of the first part relative to the second part and / or the distance of the first part from the second part is adjustable by pivoting the further pivot shaft. In this embodiment, there are a variety of adjustment options in a simple manner. If the furniture drive according to the invention is used, for example, to adjust a seat part of an armchair and both pivot shafts have the same vertical distance from the respective support surface in a starting position, pivoting of the pivot shafts results in such a way that the vertical distance of the pivot shafts from the respective support surface is the same increased, that the seat part is adjusted in its distance from the support surface and thus in its height. The inclination of the seat part remains unchanged. If one of the swivel shafts is swiveled and thus its vertical distance to the associated support surface is increased or decreased, while the other swivel shaft is not swiveled and its vertical distance to the assigned support surface thus remains the same, the inclination of the seat part is adjusted. If, on the other hand, the swivel shafts are swiveled such that the vertical distance between the two swivel shafts from the respective support surface increases or decreases, the inclination of the seat part is adjusted. According to the invention, it is generally sufficient if only one support element is assigned to the swivel shaft or the respective swivel shaft. An advantageous development provides, however, that at least two support elements spaced apart from one another in the axial direction of the respective pivot shaft are assigned to the pivot shaft or at least one of the pivot shafts. In this way, deflection of the pivot shaft away from the support elements is reduced or prevented. In the aforementioned embodiment, in which a further swivel shaft is provided in addition to the swivel shaft, it is particularly advantageous if each of the swivel shafts is assigned two support elements. In this embodiment, the first part is supported at four points on the second part. If required in accordance with the respective requirements, more than two support elements can also be provided per swivel shaft. An advantageous development of the aforementioned embodiment provides that the support elements assigned to a pivot shaft are arranged at the axial ends of the pivot shaft. In this embodiment, the space in the axial direction between the support elements remains free in the radial direction of the pivot shaft, so that the furniture drive is designed to be particularly space-saving. Another advantageous development of the teaching according to the invention provides that at least one of the support elements in the region of its end facing away from the associated pivot shaft has a pin with which the respective support element is guided on or in a guide formed on the second part. This embodiment results in a particularly simple structure, it being particularly advantageous that the Support surface can be arranged in the axial direction next to the respective pivot shaft. If, for example, the first part is a seat part and the second part is a base body of an armchair, the support surface assigned to a support element can be formed, for example in the axial direction, next to the respective pivot shaft in an armrest of an armchair, so that the space below the seat part is free remains. Advantageous developments of the aforementioned embodiments provide that the pin extends essentially parallel to the axial direction of the associated pivot shaft and / or that the guide is designed as a groove or as a slot. Another development of the embodiment with the pin provides that the free end of the pin points away from the axial center of the associated pivot shaft. For example, to adjust a seat part relative to a base body of a chair of a swivel shaft, two support elements are assigned, so in this embodiment the pins of the support elements point away from one another, the pins being able to be guided, for example, in guides which are formed in mutually facing surfaces by armrests of the base body are. This embodiment results in a particularly space-saving design, since the space below the pivot shaft and thus the space below the seat part are free of parts of the adjustment mechanism. Then only the support elements protrude from the seat part, specifically at the axial ends of the pivot shaft. Since the support elements can thus be arranged in the area of the armrests, for example, they are not perceived visually or are hardly noticed and are not perceived as disturbing. Basically, the leadership can be according to the desired kinematics have any, for example, arcuate course. However, the guidance expediently runs essentially straight. This embodiment is particularly simple and therefore inexpensive to manufacture. Another development of the embodiment with the guide provides that the longitudinal axis of the guide runs essentially parallel to an imaginary connecting line between the pivot shaft and the further pivot shaft. This embodiment results in particularly simple kinematics. The support element or the support elements can be designed in any suitable manner. An advantageous development provides that the support element or at least one of the support elements is designed as a lever, in particular as a pivot lever. According to the invention, the support element can be operatively connected to the associated pivot shaft in any suitable manner. For example, the support element can be connected to the associated pivot shaft via a gear transmission, so that pivoting the pivot shaft corresponding to the transmission ratio leads to pivoting of the support element. In order to make the structure particularly simple and therefore inexpensive, an advantageous further development provides that the support element or at least one of the support elements is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the associated pivot shaft. In order to further reduce the space requirement of the furniture drive according to the invention, sees an advantageous one
Eine vorteilhafte Weiterbildung der erfindungs- gemäßen Lehre sieht vor, daß das Abtriebsorgan eineFurther development before that the support element or at least one of the support elements is flat in the axial direction of the associated pivot shaft. In principle, a manual ler swivel drive can be provided. However, the swivel drive or at least one of the swivel drives is advantageously designed as an electromotive swivel drive. In this embodiment, the adjustment of the first part relative to the second part is designed to be energy-saving and comfortable. If more than one swivel shaft is provided according to the invention, then according to the invention a common swivel drive can be provided for swiveling the swivel shafts. An advantageous development of the teaching according to the invention, however, provides that the pivot shaft and the further pivot shaft are each assigned a separate pivot drive, in such a way that the pivot shafts can be pivoted independently of one another. In this embodiment, the swivel drives assigned to the swivel shafts can be controlled independently of one another. However, the control can also take place jointly, so that, for example, a predetermined kinematics is achieved when the first part is adjusted relative to the second part. A further development of the embodiment with the electromotive swivel drive provides that the swivel drive or at least one of the swivel drives is designed as a linear drive with an output element movable along a linear axis of movement. Such linear drives are available as simple and inexpensive standard components and are suitable for applying large forces. An advantageous further development of the teaching according to the invention provides that the output element has a
Spindle nut of a spindle drive is, which is movable in the axial direction and is secured against rotation on a rotationally driven threaded spindle. Such spindle drives are simple and inexpensive Standard components are available and are suitable for applying large forces. In a kinematic reversal of the abovementioned embodiment, the output member can also be formed by a threaded spindle which is mounted so as to be movable and non-rotatable in its axial direction and on which a stationary spindle nut which can be driven in rotation is arranged. In the aforementioned embodiments, means are advantageously provided for converting a linear movement of the output member into a pivoting movement of the respective pivot shaft. In order to make the means for converting a linear movement of the output member into a pivoting movement of the respective pivot shaft particularly simple and inexpensive and robust, an advantageous further development provides that the means for converting a linear movement of the output member into a pivoting movement of the respective pivot shaft have a crank-like arrangement have, via which the output member is in drive connection with the respective pivot shaft. In the above-mentioned embodiment, the crank drive-like arrangement expediently has a pivot lever which is connected to the respective pivot shaft in a manner fixed against relative rotation, with which one end of a connecting rod-like connecting element is connected eccentrically to the pivot shaft, the other end of which is connected in an articulated manner to the output element. Another particularly advantageous development of the teaching according to the invention provides that the furniture is a piece of seating furniture, in particular an armchair, that the first part is formed by an upholstery element, in particular a seating part of the seating furniture, and that the second part is formed laterally by at least one in the axial direction of the pivot shaft from the upholstery element orderly armrest is formed. An advantageous development of the aforementioned embodiment provides that the armrest or at least one of the armrests is flat and that the guide is formed in a surface of the respective armrest facing the other armrest. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the attached drawing, in which an exemplary embodiment of a furniture drive according to the invention is shown. All of the features described or shown in the drawing, alone or in any combination, form the subject matter of the invention, regardless of their summary in the patent claims or their relationship, and regardless of their formulation or representation in the description or in the drawing.

Mit der weiteren Schwenkwelle 20 ist ein weiterer Schwenkhebel 26' verbunden, dessen der Schwenkwelle 20' abgewandtes Ende einen Zapfen 28' aufweist, mit dem sich die weitereIn Fig. 1 a first embodiment of a piece of furniture according to the invention in the form of a piece of seating furniture, namely an armchair 2 is shown, which has a first part 4 in the form of a seat part designed as an upholstery element, which relative to a base body 6 forming a second part of the piece of furniture in its Height and its inclination is adjustable. To adjust the height or the inclination of the seat part 4 relative to the base body 6, a furniture drive according to the invention is provided, which cannot be seen in FIG. 1. The base body 6 has armrests 8, 10 which are flat and are laterally spaced apart from one another from the seat part 4. Furthermore, the armchair 2 has a calf part 12 which is articulated to the seat part 4 and an upper body part 14 which is articulated to the seat part 4 and to which a head part 16 is articulated. However, the calf part 12, the upper body part 10 and the head part 16 are of no interest here and are therefore not explained in more detail here. 2 shows an exemplary embodiment of a furniture drive 18 according to the invention for adjusting the seat part 4 relative to the base body 10, which according to the invention has a pivot shaft 20 which is pivotably mounted on the seat part 4. In detail it is Swivel shaft 20 on longitudinal bars 22, 24 of the seat part 4 pivotally mounted. The longitudinal bars 22, 24 form a load-bearing structure of the seat part 4 and are provided with upholstery on the upper side of the seat part 4 (cf. FIG. 1), which is omitted in FIG. 2 for reasons of illustration. A support element is operatively connected to the pivot shaft 20, which in this exemplary embodiment is connected by a pivot lever 26, one end of which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the pivot shaft 20 and which in the region of its end remote from the pivot shaft 20 has a pin 28 with which the pivot lever 26 is guided in a guide formed in the armrest 10 in a manner explained in more detail below. In this exemplary embodiment, the pin 28 extends essentially parallel to the axial direction of the associated pivot shaft 20, the free end of the pin 28 pointing away from the axial center of the pivot shaft 20. From Fig. 2 is not apparent and therefore it is explained here that the axial end of the pivot shaft 20 facing away from the pivot lever 26 is connected to a further support element in the form of a further pivot lever which is arranged parallel to the pivot lever 26. The further pivot lever is designed as described for the pivot lever 26, its end facing away from the pivot shaft 20 having a pin corresponding to the pin 28, with which the further pivot lever is guided in a guide formed in the armrest 8. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the pivot lever 26 is flat in the axial direction of the associated pivot shaft 20. For pivoting the pivot shaft 20 and thus the pivot lever 26 and the further pivot lever an electromotive swivel drive is provided which has a drive unit 29 with an electric motor 30 as the drive motor, the output shaft of which cannot be seen in FIG. 2 is designed as a worm and is in engagement with a worm wheel 32. In this exemplary embodiment, the swivel drive has a linear drive which is designed as a spindle drive. A threaded spindle 34 of the spindle drive is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the worm wheel 32, a spindle nut 36 with an internal thread being arranged on the threaded spindle 34. The spindle nut 36 is arranged in the axial direction of the threaded spindle 34 along a linear movement axis in the direction of a double arrow 38 and can be moved back and forth on the threaded spindle 34 and is secured against rotation. In this exemplary embodiment, means for converting a linear movement of the output member along the linear movement axis into a pivoting movement of the pivot shaft 20 are provided, which in this exemplary embodiment have a crank drive-like arrangement 40 via which the spindle nut 36 is in drive connection with the associated pivot shaft 20. In this exemplary embodiment, the crank drive-like arrangement 40 has a pivot lever 42 which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the swivel shaft 20 and to which one end of a connecting rod-like connecting element 40 is connected eccentrically to the swivel shaft 20, the other end of which is articulated and eccentrically connected to the swivel shaft 20 with the spindle nut 36 is. In the embodiment shown in the drawing, the furniture drive 18 has a further drive unit 29 ', which is constructed essentially as described above for the drive unit 29. has been written. The components of the further drive unit 29 ′ are provided with reference symbols which correspond to the reference symbols of the components of the drive unit 29. The further drive unit 29 'has a further pivot shaft 20' which is pivotably mounted on the longitudinal bars 22, 24 of the seat part 4. A further pivot lever 26 'is connected to the further pivot shaft 20, the end of which facing away from the pivot shaft 20' has a pin 28 'with which the further pivot

Swivel shaft 20 'is supported on a support surface via the further swivel lever 26'. The further drive unit 29 'has a linear drive designed as a spindle drive with a spindle drive, the spindle nut 36' of which forms the output element of the linear drive and is arranged on a threaded spindle 34 'which can be driven in rotation and with which a worm wheel 32' is connected in a rotationally fixed manner and which is connected to a designed as a worm output shaft of an electric motor 30 'is engaged. Voltage supply means, not shown in the drawing, are provided for supplying power to the drive units 29, 29 'and control means, not shown in the drawing, are provided for controlling the drive units 29, 29'. The control means are designed in this embodiment such that the drive units 29, 29 'can be controlled independently of one another. FIG. 3 shows the armchair according to FIG. 1, the armrest 10 being omitted for reasons of illustration. From Fig. 3 it can be seen that a further support element in the form of a further pivot lever 46 is provided with the pivot shaft 20, which with the axial end facing away from the pivot lever 26 of the pivot shaft 20 is connected. The further pivot lever 46 is designed as described for the pivot lever 26 with reference to FIG. 2. At its end facing away from the pivot shaft 20, it has a pin 48 which is guided in a substantially straight groove-like guide 50 in the armrest 8 which is parallel to an imaginary connecting line between the pivot shafts 20, 20 '. The lower surface 51 of the guide 50 forms a support surface on which the pivot shaft 20 is supported via the pivot lever 46. The further pivot lever 46 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the pivot shaft 20 parallel to the pivot lever 26. A further support element in the form of a further pivot lever 46 'is connected to the further pivot shaft 20' and is constructed as described above for the pivot lever 46 'with reference to FIG. 2. The further pivot lever 46 'is rotatably connected to the pivot shaft 20' and has at its end remote from the pivot shaft 20 'a pin 48' with which it is guided in a guide 50 'formed in the armrest 8, which in this embodiment in runs essentially straight and parallel to an imaginary connecting line between the pivot shafts 20, 20 '. The mode of operation of the furniture drive according to the invention is described below with reference to FIGS. 4 to 7. FIG. 4 shows the furniture drive 18 in an adjustment position in which the seat part 20, as shown in FIG. 3, is in a raised position. In order to lower the seat part 4 from this raised position, the electric motor 30 drives the threaded spindle 34 in such a way that the spinel nut 36 moves to the right in FIG. 4. When moving in Fig. 4 after on the right, the spindle nut 36 pivots the articulated lever 42 of the crankshaft-like arrangement 40 in FIG. 4, which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the pivot shaft 20, so that the pivot shaft 20 m in FIG. 4 is also pivoted clockwise. Due to the rotationally fixed connection of the pivoting levers 26, 46 forming the supporting elements, the pivoting levers 26, 46 also pivot clockwise in FIG. 4 until the end position of the pivoting movement shown in FIG. 5 is reached. Since the pivot levers 26, 46 are supported with their journals 28 and 48 on the support surface 51 of the respectively assigned guide (cf. FIG. 3 for the pivot lever 46), the vertical distance of the pivot shaft 20 is reduced when the pivot lever 46 is pivoted in the longitudinal direction of the guide 50 imaginary line, so that the calf portion 12 facing the end of the seat portion 4 is lowered. At the same time, the electric motor 30 'of the drive unit 29', which can be seen in FIG. 6, drives the threaded spindle 34 'in such a way that the spindle nut 36' moves to the left in FIG. 6. Here, the spindle nut 36 'pivots the articulated lever 42' of the crank-like arrangement 40 'in FIG. 6 counterclockwise, so that the pivot shaft 20' is also pivoted counterclockwise in FIG. 6.
Due to the rotationally fixed connection of the pivoting levers 26 ', 46' forming the supporting elements to the pivoting shaft 20, the pivoting levers 26 ', 46' m in FIG. 6 are pivoted counterclockwise until the end position of this pivoting movement shown in FIG. 7 is reached. Since the pivot levers 26 ', 46' are supported with their respective pins 28 'and 48' on the support surface formed on the guide 50 ', the calf part 12 becomes averted during this pivoting movement Lowered end of the seat part 4. If the drive unit 29 and the drive unit 29 'are actuated synchronously, the seat part is lowered from the raised adjustment position shown in FIG. 3 to the adjustment position shown in FIG. 8. A renewed lifting of the seat part 4 into the raised position takes place by an opposite actuation of the drive unit 29, 29 '. When the drive units 29, 29 'are actuated synchronously, the inclination of the seat part 4' remains constant during the height adjustment. If the inclination of the seat part 4 is to be adjusted relative to the base body 6, this can be done, for example, by driving only the drive unit 29 while the drive unit 29 'remains stopped, so that starting from the one shown in FIG 3 pivoted clockwise in FIG. 3 and thus the end of the seat part 4 facing the calf part 12 is lowered. If, on the other hand, the end of the seat part 4 facing away from the calf part 12 is to be lowered, the drive unit 29 'is actuated in such a way that the pivot lever 46' in FIG. 3 pivots counterclockwise while the drive unit 29 is stopped. The furniture drive 18 according to the invention is simple and inexpensive in construction and robust. A particular advantage is that only the very narrow pivot levers 26, 26 'and 46, 46' protrude from the underside of the seat part 4 in the axial direction of the pivot shafts 20, 20 '. The pivot levers 26, 26 'and 46, 46' are in the immediate vicinity of the armrests 6, 8 and are both in the raised position of the seat part 4 shown in FIG. 3 and in the position shown in FIG. 8 lowered position of the seat part 4 optically not or hardly noticeable. Since no other components of the adjustment mechanism protrude downward beyond the seat part 4 along the entire axial extent of the pivot shafts 20, 20 ′, the entire space below the seat part 4 is free. Furthermore, since the drive units 29, 29 'are integrated into the seat part 4, the furniture drive according to the invention is hardly noticeable in spite of various adjustment options with regard to the height and inclination of the seat part 4. The armchair 2 according to the invention therefore has a particularly appealing external appearance which hardly differs from the visual appearance of a non-adjustable armchair.
