Abstract

In einer Vorrichtung zur Behandlung einer Materialbahn (16), insbesondere Papier-, Karton-, Tissue- oder einer anderen Faserstoffbahn, ist zur Überführung der Materialbahn (16) und vorzugsweise eines luftdurchlässigen Stützbandes (18) von einer vorangehenden bewegten oder stationären Stützfläche (12) zu einer nachfolgenden Stützfläche (14) ein mit Vakuum beaufschlagbarer, insbesondere kastenartiger Stabilisator (20) vorgesehen, der wenigstens eine Dichtungseinrichtung (22) umfasst, die eine Abnahmezone (24), in der die Materialbahn (16) und ggf. das Stützband (18) von der vorangehenden Stützfläche (12) abgenommen werden, von einer Stabilisierungszone (26) trennt, durch die der Bahnlauf im Bereich zwischen den beiden Stützflächen (12,14) stabilisiert und ggf. die Materialbahn (16) an dem luftdurchlässigen Stützband (18) gehalten wird. Dabei sind die Vakua in der Abnahmezone (24) und der Stabilisierungszone (26) getrennt einstellbar oder regelbar.
