Sanitary insert unit (1) for inserting into an outlet fitting, having an essentially conical attachment screen (2), which has a throughflow-quantity regulator (3) and a jet regulator (4) arranged downstream of it, as seen in the throughflow direction, wherein the attachment screen (2) is connected in a releasable manner to the jet-regulator housing, characterized in that the throughflow-quantity regulator (3) has a cross-sectional profile which is essentially adapted in shape to the cross-sectional profile of the attachment screen (2) such that the throughflow-quantity regulator (3) is accommodated in the inner space (6) beneath the attachment screen (2), which is fastened on the jet-regulator housing (5), and such that there is total geometrical compatibility between an insert unit with a throughflow-quantity regulator and one without.
  2. Insert unit according to Claim 1, characterized in that the throughflow-quantity regulator (3), in an outer, in particular annular peripheral region, has a run-on slope (9), which slopes up radially inwards and leads to a control gap (10) or similar throughflow opening in through-passage connection with the jet regulator (4), and in that the run-on slope (9) and the attachment screen (2) are spaced apart from one another.
  3. Insert unit according to Claim 2, characterized in that the run-on slope (9), on the upper side, has approximately radially running grooves (11) for forming individual inflow channels.
  4. Insert unit according to Claim 3, characterized in that the crosspieces (12), which are located between the grooves (11), terminate in the vicinity of, or at, the inside of the attachment screen (2) and serve as bearing elements for the attachment screen (2).
  5. Insert unit according to Claim 4, characterized in that the crosspieces (12) of the run-on slope (9) are spaced apart uniformly from one another in the circumferential direction.
  6. Insert unit according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the throughflow-quantity regulator (3) has a central core region (7) which is enclosed by an annular flow-restricting body (8), and in that a control gap (10) is formed between the flow-restricting body (8) and the run-on slope (9), it being possible for the through-passage cross section of the control gap to be altered by the flow-restricting body (8) deforming under the pressure difference forming during throughflow operation.
